I weigh the same today as I did last Friday. So no movement at all in about a week---just the back and forth. Not down at all. If I were a bit down, or at least staying in the 127 range I wouldn't panic. I am closing in on day #14, and with no loss this 2nd week, my overall loss is going to be pretty sucky.

Have you tried to shake things up ? It might be rogue but a little fat ? I read some people have hwc & see a loss when stalled. I remember I would add or take away red meat & the losses would pick up. One time I had ground chicken & didn't realize until a few days later it wasn't chicken breast. Surprised me because my losses were really good that week.

Hope your apple day works. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your losses pick up. For me I'm finishing my 3rd week of P4 & +3.6 over ldw 131.6 So I think it's tom which is supposed to be here any day now but I'm still waiting. Being on the safe side I'm doing a GY day but if the scale is still up tomorrow I'll just do protein/high fat. For some reason I just don't think the scale is going to go down that much tomorrow.

I'm beginning to get a feeling when we get to a set point or weight our body is happy with that it's harder to see a drop. This worries me for my next round since I was hoping to get to the low low 120's at worst 120 at best.

HANG IN THERE

NO WAY!! I am so sorry. That is incredibly frustrating. SOMETHING must be going on...I don't know if this caused my stall or not, but I had bought some "chocolate truffle" coffee at Target...I was hoping for a "safe" way to have some chocolate flavoring in my coffee...I saw no losses on the three days that I drank that--but as soon as I went back to my normal variety, I dropped. It might be totally unrelated, but who knows? I was doing everything else by the book...Anyway, my point is, examine EVERYTHING, drink tons of water, and try not to gag after eating so many apples. Thinking about you, and wishing you success tonight...

I have examined everything ladies. Thanks for helping me brainstorm. I have done a mini steak day, today is the apple day, I already take Natural Calm, didn't add anything new, switched out my beauty products from day 1, haven't added anything new there either.. ......I seriously do everything by the book. Remember this is old hat to me and I know what to do. Frustrating to be doing everything right and no movement. If you don't hear from me tomorrow I will be busy chucking the dam* scale. Only thing I can think of is that this is where my body usually lands once I end P3 and eat everything under the sun. My body's "new natural set point". Hmmmm......Here is to tomorrow

So Dawn... how did the apple day go? I was so hoping to see you post a big whoosh today! I hate to see you struggle like this, I know how frustrating it is when we do everything we are suppose to do and nothing is happening...
I am still bouncing... down the .4 that I was up yesterday... whatever ! I guess the 3 pounds I dropped on Sunday are just going to come and go this week but it sure is wreaking havoc on my nerves. Any other round I looked forward to the scale each morning but having mixed feelings this time. Overall, I am down 3.4 for 5 days and I know that is awesome so I just have to persevere...

Good luck everone... weekends are always harder, so hang in there and lets hope we all have a better week ahead!

Pandora: I think you are right about your body having certain set points that it likes to stay at. Everytime I hit a weight that I stayed at for a long period of time my losses stop for a while but eventually they continue... hang in there!

Oh, I forgot this thread too. I am in so many, I tend to forget which ones i post in LOL. Got some new numbers today. I am down 1.4 lbs to 126.8!!! No more 127s or 128s. I am thankful for that. So my week #2 losses are not much more than what I lost on the apple day.......1.8. Looking forward to a great week #3. If willpower were scale power I have just lost about 5 lbs! I am making my DD's birthday cake and didn't lick the bowl, beaters or any spoons. I have just won something for that LOL. I deserve another pound down for that alone! My DD's birthday is tomorrow ( sleepover party is tonight with friends) and she wants Outback (again). I might get the lobster tail and steak and bring home a few meals. I think we will go there for lunch tomorrow, but it could be dinner. Not sure yet of our plans.

Sander---great job on your 3.4 in 5 days. I am hoping to do just as well as you next week. I will be pleased if I can get those results. Good for you!!!!

Yeah Dawn! So happy you saw a loss! As for the cake and Outback, you do deserve a reward!!! I am in the same boat! I just made bananna pudding, from scratch for inlaws and made apple turnovers a few days ago! MIL recovering from surgery so I have been taking them food every few days! Between that and cooking for the DH I sure am glad the hcg curbs my appetite because it is tempting, just because you know its good! I also hate to cook without tasting to see if the seasonings are right, so having to get others to do that for me!:

Good luck if you eat Outback, I know I would gain from it, just because of all the salt if nothing else... but, it is sooo good and i know you eat lots of salt all the time, so hope it is okay for you! Have fun!

I lost again today!! Yay!! Down 0.4. Makes it worth doing the apple day--no bounce from it at all. And almost makes it enough to resist that yummy cake I baked yesterday and everyone enjoyed last night with ice cream More of the same today

Sorry about your gain, Idorf... Are you off the hcg now? I always hope to lose on those last 3 days, just for the wiggle room since I struggle with p3. Hope tomorrow shows a drop for you.
I am down .2 which isn't much but this is the first time this week that I have had a drop 2 days in a row instead of bouncing, so I am happy with it.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Yay for Dawn! That must have been such a relief.
I am down to 176.8, which is a 3 lb drop in 2 days! SO PSYCHED! Today is my last dosing day and if I can just stay around here (or even to 175, which was my goal) I will be 100% right on track.
Yesterday I was at a meeting and all they had was a lettuce-y salad so I ate that with a little real dressing + P2 chili last night. Practically NOTHING. I was feeling a little odd all day, but not starving and not like I had low blood sugar. Thirsty. I peed about 10 times during the meeting.
Anyway - I am feeling GOOD about this round and very PROUD of myself for sticking w/it after so many failures in the past!

Congrats on your success, Agee and you too Dawn! you rock!

I am really struggling with hunger today, and am only on vlcd #16... Not sure what is going on. I am on Rx injections and had little to no hunger until late last night and this morning. I am doing everything exactly the same except I have used franks hot sauce a few times. I get my hcg premixed from a dr. And I am wondering how old it is, I have heard it loses potency over time, but you would expect that to happen gradually, not overnight. I am drinking my tea and trying to stay busy, hopefully it will pass.

Oh, sanderk1, that stinks.
I am not hungry but MAN I can't stop thinking about what I'll eat Tuesday.
I think I've mentioned before I'm a boredom eater. Or maybe not really bored, but it's kind of like when I was a waitress and I smoked - I never really took a 15 min. break but I'd sure pop out for a smoke now and then just to give myself a pause. I think I use food like that.
Durn it, after not smoking for 20 years I just made myself want to smoke a cigarette!
Funny.
Oh well. I'll get through it and you will too. Just 2 more days for me!

Last DOSE!

I just did my last dose for this round!
Woo Hoo!
I know I have 2 more days but am so happy! It was MUCH easier than I thought it would be. I need to remember this for the next round so I don't do anything DUMB like quit too early or cheat or whatever.
It feels so good for my pants to be loose. I was really heavier than I'd been pretty much ever. I'm still too fat but at least I'm not like a sausage in my skin, kwim!
Yay!

Yay for you! I'm glad you stuck it out and tried the apple day. I have a couple more weeks of injections and then on to phase 3. We can DO it!

One of the BEST bonuses of this is FITTING into our pants and not being uncomfortable all day! Good luck on your transition into phase 3! Keep it clean. It's all worth the time and effort!

I am trying to only weigh in twice a week (Weds and Sat). It was just on Sat., but I couldn't stand the suspense! My last shot is going to be March 23, that is if I skip and injection once a week as you are supposed to. Makes for a LONG round when you're doing 40 injections! I am just sticking with it and going back to Tom's Deodorant and NO lotion. My skin is SOOOOO... dry, but I know it's only for a bit longer. Gonna make my own moisturizer once I am done. Congrats on your drop!

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing today. I am happy to report that i am down another .6 and no hunger today. not sure what was going on yesterday, but i ate both fruits and servings of melba and i usually only have one of each. For dinner i made a shake with water, 3oz. low fat cottage cheese, 3 hand fulls of spinich and 6 frozen strawberries, and stevia. It was pretty good and filling too.
My round will be over about the same time as you, Idorf. I'm doing Rx injections too and haven't skipped a weekly dose because I'm afraid of the hunger returning... My dr. Doesn't think it is necessary, but honestly I probably know more about this protocol than he does. I'm only going to him because he is the cheapest for the hcg. He recommends a 1200 calorie diet eating whatever you want and I know that doesn't work for me.
I am really concerned about p3 since I gained everything back after losing it several years ago. I really struggled with maintaining and that is why I am trying Rx this time, just in case the hhcg was why I couldn't keep the weight off. It's nice to know there is support here, during and after the protocol.
My skin is dry too, but I am just dealing with it, if it get too bad you can buy oil free products. I naturally have oily skin but not on hcg. It's great for clearing up acne!
Okay, sorry for the rambling post... Have a nice Sunday night.

Drumroll please!
1st day of P3 and I weighed in this a.m. at 176.6, which is exactly 15 lbs below my loading weight and 12 below where I was before loading.
YAHOO!
Very pleased with these short round results and very proud of myself for sticking with it this time.
Now off to P3 - having cream in my coffee this a.m. Yummo and there's bacon in the fridge that I'm not afraid to cook.
So excited!
The verdict is out how long I'll stay in the maintain lane. I asked before about skipping P4 and on the main board most people said no, but I am going to play it by ear. I'm thinking after 3 weeks of P3 I'll see when I stabilize and then make the call.
I'd so much rather do 2 more short rounds before my beach vacay at the end of June than do 1 more longer round.
But I guess we'll see. I have 2 goals: to not look so horrible this summer AND to keep this weight off. Don't want to ignore the 2nd in favor of the first. I guess I'm just thinking if people can do P2 for 90 days then how is it really going to hurt me shortening P3 by 2 weeks?
Anyhoo - good luck to all your LOSERs today!

Down 2.2 since my Saturday weigh in. I haven't worked in exercise yet, but Track starts next week and I am coaching (yikes), so I may be working out with some middle schoolers starting Monday. LOL 20 day countdown of VLC and then on to gluten/sugar free healthy eating! Stay strong on this cold Wednesday, guys.

Well on day #5 of the same damn weight on the scale I did an apple day (again) yesterday and dropped 1.2 lbs. It seems the only way I can drop weight either in week #2 or 3 is an apple day. That is sad, very sad. I am done on Day #21. Friday will be my last day of dosing and then onto P3 for me next week. I cannot wait. I am so done with this round. Unless I miraculously lose weight this week, I am done!!!

Dawn - I'm sorry you're so frustrated. How many lbs. have you lost total this round?
If it makes you feel any better, 125 is my dream weight. I would be so skinny at that weight! Maybe too skinny. So I bet you look amazing!

A--it is not that much. I dropped 9.4 in the first 2 weeks, so far 1.2 in the 3rd. If I go on like i have been this is all I will drop this round. I hope not, I am hoping for a great ending this week, but I severely doubt it. I want to get to goal---not stop 10 lbs before!!! My usual losses on a short round are 15, not 10 lbs. So this is very frustrating.

Idorf: Congrats on the steady loses! You are doing great!

Dawn: I hate to hear you have stalled again! How frustrating! Hang in there! Take a break and try again after p3. If you lose 10 in another short round you will meet your goal and that is doable, in the big picture, although it sucks for sure!

I am still losing and bouncing along... today is vlcd# 22 and I have lost a total of 17.8 ( seven load pounds) so 10.8 as of yesterday, but back up 1.2 today, for no apparent reason... sigh... I am really feeling low energy this round and wish I knew what was going on. I usually feel good or at least normal. Thinking of taking a planned interuption for a few day just to eat some healthy fat and regroup. You would think that since I still weigh 195 I would have plenty fat and nutrients to supply my system. I am taking a multi and potassium and magnesium every day too... I don't know... I hate to slow my loss since it feels like it is too slow anyway...

Hey everyone - how's it going?
Day 3? of P3 and it's been fine. I was down .6 then same, then today up 1, but no panic. Just some bouncing.
I do need to be drinking more water, though. I have been so busy with life and work that I haven't stayed on it like I should.
Hope everyone is losing or is stable and is managing well! ~A
