I have royally screwed up

Ok so here it goes. I had a planned interruption that started last Friday (Feb 1), while I waited on more drops. After I ran out, I didnt stay on protocol at all. I should have done more research and I am totally kicking myself about it. I stepped on the scale this morning and gained 9 pounds. I started taking my drops again today and continued eating on protocol. Can someone please tell me if I am doing the right thing.

I don't really have any advice because I don't consider myself an HCG expert but I just want to say I know you must be frustrated but congratulations on getting yourself back on the wagon! Don't beat yourself up too much and just take it one day at a time. I'm sure some of the experts here will give you some great advice!

Yes, less than 14 days and you don't reload. You just start the vlcd's again taking the h/hCG.

Do not freak out !! The issue is you ate off plan (likely sugar/starches etc. right ?). Now just get back on strict protocol & the weight (likely water & inflammation anyway) will fall off. It may take a week or so but it will come off. If your a fast loser it may just be 3 or 4 days it all depends but it will come off.

My PI in Round 3 I ate off plan 2 meals in 4 days & gained 3.8 lbs & lost it in 2 days 'but" I am a fast loser. But it's not the end of the world. You will get through this the wiser and have learned a valuable lesson. Beating yourself up just causes stress & that is not good for losing weight. Drink all your water, eat very clean P2 and try and not be too hard on yourself. We have all been there & done that :console:

If it will make you feel better I went on vacation for in December for 7 days & lost my mind eating & gained 23 lbs !! & yes I lost it and I am below my ldw now & with a whole new perspective :o

These types of posts always make me scared that in P3 that my weight will completely go to crap. Why does a screw up on P2 makes such a huge difference in weight if you are expected to raise calories in P3? *Confused!*

Because in P3, you don't have the hCG in your system. If you do (in P2) and you cheat, you will gain.

That is kind of what I thought, but wasn't completely sure. I always heard that it will "dump" extra calories or fat back into the body or something along those lines. I guess I just always get really antsy thinking about leaving P2 since it is going so well for me, even though I haven't been on it long. Thanks for clarifying.
