Loading Saturday February 9th!

And this will be my very first Road of hCG. R1P2D1 will be Monday, if anyone is starting this weekend too, feel free to post and we can keep each other accountable, or I can just whine by myself.

I'm reading Weightloss Apocalypse tonight, planning my groceries, and preparing. Fun times!

Hi Avy! I am on day 2 of loading. I am actually starting the VLCD tomorrow. I am awaiting my book to come in, the hard copy. But I have the ebook that I am skimming through on tablet.

Good luck to you! I will keep checking in on ya!

Started my drops this morning! Going to have bulletproof coffee and cheesecake for breakfast to start the loading process. I'm sure I'll hate it by the end of tomorrow, but sounds like a great breakfast right now lol.

Oh, and I'm 1/2 way through the book, a must read for anyone, even those not going hCG!

I haven't read Robins book, but I've watched her videos. She has helped me so much on this round, and given me valuable tools for p3,p4 and lifetime maintenance .... Good luck on your journey!

I'm sure I'll be whining soon about VLCD too lol. Right now I feel gross from all this food I'm not used to. I have been low carb since June, and trying to only eat when hungry, so "eating to capacity" is hard, and gross. My boyfriend is kinda laughing at me lol. He keeps asking if I want more cheesecake, with some bacon on the side. Jerk. :P

Oh, and I'm posting on the P2 thread too... I think!

Not to be unsympathetic but since I've been on p2 for almost three weeks, cheesecake with bacon on the side sounds heavenly. I don't think it could get much better than that. Burger King has a bacon sundae which I made sure to get while I was loading.

Good luck with your round Avy.

I would totally share!

I'm exhausted, to the point I actually napped twice...both times I woke up extremely nauseated and I never feel that way, unless I'm pregnant :P And I just feel gross in general from the eating, bleh. Glad it's only 2 days.

I felt awful yesterday so I know I didn't load well for day 2. I honestly didn't want to eat at all and topped off the day with coming down with a stomach virus.
Started VLCD1 today anyway. Hope you are having a good day! What's on your menu for today?

Awh, sorry to hear you were not feeling well, I can relate. Hope you start feeling better on the VLCD days!

Let's see...

Started with a cup of warm lemon water. Then sipped 32 oz of water with 2 tbsp of ACV in it. Drinking Yerba Mate tea right now. Will have more water and ACV this afternoon. Really helps with hunger. And I'll switch to oolong tea at some point.

Will have lunch between 12-1 I think. Chicken and lettuce salad, maybe with a pray of lemon juice and spices for dressing, or liquid aminos.

My snack mid afternoon or tonight will be a strawberry and spinach smoothie with ice, stevia and a tbsp of milk.

Supper is going to be steamed shrimp and asparagus.

Oh, and I also have another fruit serving, so maybe I'll nuke an apple with spices and a little water for dessert.

Hey guys. I received my pellets today. I was already doing the diet while taking activator pills, but with the advice of people on this forum decided to order the real thing and will be making the switch tomorrow. I won't be redoing load days (also advice from here) unless I show a need to do so later on. I guess tomorrow will be what should be considered R1P2D3 so I will check in tomorrow.

Hi JGR and welcome.

Avy that sounds really good! Especially the smoothie. I was a little unprepared and didn't have any of the recommended teas until last night. Bought some at the local whole foods and will be sipping them today. Yesterday I didn't get to eat my protein at lunch (I'm a nurse... not getting lunch happens sometimes), but I did manage to snack on half a cucumber between patients. Apple snack. Grilled chicken salad for dinner and then a sliced apple sprinkled with a little cinnamon and nuked for a few seconds for snack during the evening. Tried to drink lots of water but I'm struggling with it because I'm a crystal light gal. Love the flavors!

More evidence of my being unprepared, I didn't even own a scale until loading day 2. So here goes so far:
Loading day 2 (Sunday): 204.2
VLCD1: 200
VLCD2 (today): 197.8

Happy Tuesday!

Checking in for today. 133.8 lbs

Those pellets are so easy, I wish I would have started with them. I just hope I get the same losses as I did with the activator pills up until the last like 3 days. I was averaging a 0.8 lb loss daily with them, but over the last 3 days went up almost 5 lbs. I think it's due to being TOM, but still that sucks to have to start out higher than expected.

I don't do breakfast often, mainly because I am up late at night and don't wake up until 10am or later. I had plain chicken for lunch, but skipped the veggies simply because I wasn't hungry.

I'll have a chicken salad for dinner, using apple cider vinegar for "dressing"

Still need to fit in a snack or two today. I have a bag of apples left and one orange, so those are my snack options along with the Melba or Grissini if needed.

I think i survived R1P2D2... not starving all day, but was hungry for my meals... didn't even think about food all day long. Success!

February-09-13 196.00 load day 1
February-10-13 197.80 load day 2
February-11-13 202.60 P2D1
February-12-13 199.00 P2D2

I was 194.6 the day before I started loading! Think I had the spike due to lack of sleep the night before, argh. So, until I dip below 194.6, I won't feel like I've made progress!

I'm an accountant, so getting in lots of tea and water is easy during the day, getting in the snacks sometimes is more challenging, especially if I want more than a plain apple.

My biggest fear was not being prepared, I'd be so stressed! I was out buying oil-free skin care products at the last minute yesterday though lol and I still have mint toothpaste, but meh, i can't find an appropriate one for sensitive teeth... I'll just have to time all the brushing and drops. :P

Glad everyone is staying on track! So far it's not "too" hard.

Hi,
I also loaded this weekend and today is R2P2D2 for me.

The first round I only did the 21 day's (19 lbs gone) but I'm up and running for longer this time. Much more motivated for the long hall now that I know HCG really does work and I don't fell like I'm starving myself.

Keep up the great job so far. Here is to flushing the pounds down the drain.

I love it! I'm only promising myself to do the 23 day round (including loading) but I have enough drops for the 40 days, so we'll see how much I've lost when I get to 23, and how motivated I am to keep going. I think the thought of having to load again might make me stay on P2 longer lol.

I'm committed to the minimum days too. I figure if things are rocking along well and I feel up to it, I can always extend it a bit. I know I will need more than one round anyway!

Yesterday I missed out on the second fruit. Looked at the clock and realized it was time for bed but I wasn't really hungry anyway. Mornings are really hard for me. I am so hungry even after the pellets. I'm trying the ACV and water so hopefully it will cut back on the hunger pains some. Lunch yesterday was grilled chicken over lettuce with some spices. Dinner was chicken and celery soup with some spices. I had one apple about mid-morning. I didn't realize that if I skipped the melba/grissini that I need to up my veggies, so I'll try that and see if it helps.

LOVE seeing a 1 in front of my weight! I had previously low carbed it and lost down from 218.

LD2- 204.2
P2D1- 200
P2D2- 197.8
P2D3- 196.8

How's everyone doing today?

Awesome, Nurse! I can't wait until my numbers drop below 194.6...what my weight was before that first load day lol.

196.00 Load day 1
197.80 Load day 2
202.60 VLCD 1
199.00 VLCD 2
196.60 VLCD 3

Making chicken soup tonight, still on plan, have a headache today though, probably work stress more than anything.

Well Happy Valentine's Day!

LD2- 204.2
P2D1- 200
P2D2- 197.8
P2D3- 196.8
P2D3- 198.0

My weight went up today. Ugh. Yesterday was the first time that I had actually gotten in my fluids- I drank 100oz of water (with the help of liquid flavored stevia drops), tea and black coffee. Plenty of fluids. The only things I did differently was increase my dinner time veggie (because I don't eat the melba/grissini) and used Bragg's Aminos in the veggie. I really think the Bragg's caused me to retain (obviously a lot). So I won't be using that again! I keep forgetting my 2nd fruit of the day. I hope that doesn't hurt me in the loss department.

Cheering for you to hit your pre-load weight, Avy!

Hey guys. I thought that I checked in yesterday, but I guess not.

I went out to dinner last night to IHOP. My husband and 15-month old daughter shared chicken & waffles and some hash-browns. I had a bunless grilled chicken sandwich with extra lettuce (so I could make a wrap out of it) and a side salad instead of the fruit that it normally comes with. No dressing and ended up bringing home the leftovers of the salad since it was large enough for two servings. It was so nice to be able to go there and resist the pancakes!

I lost 1.7 lbs yesterday, and I lost 1.0 lbs the day before.

Thanks! It was actually really nice to be able to go out to eat with no worries about what to order. I decided to talk to him ahead of time and asked him for 3 restaurants he'd want to go out to, in order of preference. I then found the menus online and figured out if I could eat there, and if so what to order. It made it very easy knowing what to order ahead of time.

The chicken was probably a little bigger than what I'd normally make for myself, but we ate later than normal so I was hungry for those extra 2-3 bites haha.

Since I knew that I'd get tomatoes there, I skipped my second fruit serving and counted that as a fruit. (I can't have tomatoes without stalling unless I count them as a fruit)

HI All,

I"m a couple days behind you. I"m on VLCD day 1 today. After loading, I'm at 198lbs today. (gained 8 pounds -yikes!)

I'm doing Rx sublingual. Today I've had coffee and an apple. Need to get my lunch ready!

Since we are all starting at about the same time, maybe we can all use this thread to keep accountable to each other?

good luck all!

I gained 8 lbs too! So frustrating.

February-09-13 196.00 Load day 1
February-10-13 197.80 Load day 2
February-11-13 202.60 VLCD 1
February-12-13 199.00 VLCD 2
February-13-13 196.60 VLCD 3
February-14-13 196.00 VLCD 4

Almost back to my original weight, gah. Once I get past 194.6 I'll consider this actually working lol.

Hey everyone! I lost 1.5 lbs between yesterday morning and earlier today. I'm dreading the day that the 1+ lb loss quits. I made some spicy chicken breasts last night, and had leftovers for lunch today. Yummy. Good luck to everyone.
