Yay Avy!! Way to go. I'm into p3 but taking it slow with upping my calories. I sleep so poorly during the week that the scale usually doesn't go down. I slept solid 9 hours last night and TOM stopped yesterday, so I woke up and weighed in at 186. I saw on some of the rogue posts that some people don't worry about losing in p3. I'm not sure how that works out for stabilizing. I still have plenty to lose but definitely want to stabilize. I worked too hard during p2 for that not to happen, you know? Tonight I'm going to up my calories a bit more and have a Mexican ish dinner. Tacos (the lettuce wrap kind). Looking forward to it!
I'm so proud of you guys for sticking it out. You all give me hope in doing another round down the road. Way to go and keep up the good work!

Thanks! It actually got easier as time went on, not harder, although I'm starting to think I will end the round tomorrow, which is 21 days of VLCD with drops. I had an entire week of stalls due to coconut oil, so my losses are fairly low compared to most people, but I really want to stop making such an effort with food, and go back to my low carb lifestyle for a while. It's unfortunate because at the same time, my losses are really good this past week lol. Meh, we'll see, one day at a time!

I'll do the 3 weeks of P3, stabilize and introduce dairy, nuts, etc back in, and probably do one more round sooner rather than later, since I should have plenty of drops. I want to extend this round but I'm starting to lose steam. Maybe that's jut today talking being out shopping and not being able to eat out or go to the pub etc with my BF, since I'm not going to sit and stare at him eat and have nothing lol. Atleast with regular LC I can eat out.

I never sleep well, and the nights that are worse, the cale is always up in the morning, I hate that.

Well, today is officially my last day of drops, but I'm going to extend the round one day at a time, like I said before, I stalled for a week in those 3, and my losses have been so good the last week, and the VLCD is not too hard, so I can go longer as long as I'm being rewarded with losses! Yesterday was hard being out and not being able to eat anywhere, and shopping with my BF, but today feels better.

I even made him a cake and 12 chocolate cupcakes with frosting, and didn't even lick the frosting on my fingers. I must be dedicated even after 21 days lol. So, on to another day of drops and VLCD. I'm actually more not looking forward to 3 days of no drops and 500 calories a day than anything. That is what scares me, starving at work and not having food, or being allowed to eat. :|

March 1, 2013 188.40 Vlcd 19
March 2, 2013 187.60 Vlcd 20
March 3, 2013 186.20 Vlcd 21

I got extremely light headed and started seeing white spots at work last night. Ended up cheating on the diet (which made me physically feel a million times better) but it caused a 1.4 lbs gain. At least I know why I gained and to me it was worth it to keep from passing out at work.

Avy, it is only 3 days for injections. Two days of 500 calories with no drops. (Read on this board) good luck!

Thanks, JGR. I'm just going by the website I purchased my drops from and the Facebook support group, and they recommend 72 hrs from the last dosage time. I will go by the hunger scale though and increase my protein on those days if I am starving and really need to eat.

jgr- I'm glad you are ok! The lightheadedness and such are no fun at all.

Avy- You are super woman! My initial plan was to do the minimum days but to extend day by day if things were going well. I was totally out of steam. Proud of you for sticking it out! I hope you are rewarded with big losses.

My usual Sunday night crappy sleep resulted in a gain on the scale today, but it actually put me in the 2 pound window of ldw, so I guess I should be good with that!

Up a pound. I'm assuming that it is due to the incident at work the other day. Any thoughts to how long I can expect to gain from that?

I'm no expert but I thought that I read on one of the threads about 3 days is pretty common time frame after eating off plan. Did you immediately correct it and eat on protocol since then?

So maybe you are nearing the end of any refractory period from being off protocol and will see the losses start back. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Congrats to everyone on the weight loss.

I went off p2 early. I gained 3 lbs but so far I am heading downward again.

Spring weather always makes me so happy that I don't want to eat. I just want to be outside. So far there has been too much rain, but this weekend is looking good. I have been really faithful to the p3 diet. even when we had donuts and cake here at work! yeah for me!

Well, I said I was going to stop when I didn't have a loss in the morning, and this morning was the same as yesterday (probably due to a bad night's sleep, but anyway) so I made yesterday my LDW, of 184.6... 47.6 lbs total loss since June 1st, 18 lbs post load, 11.4 pre load. I wanted to go for 180, but meh, I can do another round come April during my busiest craziest time, when I don't have the time to even THINK about being hungry or food lol.

Avy, good luck in P3. If you come across any good recipes or tips, please share them with us!

I am down a pound! I am finally back to where I was before that random gain last week and the incident at work, which also caused a gain.

I have so so so many recipes either bookmarked or printed, from a Facebook group, from different links I see in my groups for low carb stuffs. There is a Facebook Group called My HCG Meals... don't know if it's private or hidden or what, but people post constantly. And Your Lighter Side is a great go to for low carb in general... and a few others I see linked here on occasion.

Day 2 no drops, weird to gain .2 when I'm still VLCD and all that. But, not stressing, might be water, might be hormones. Felt pretty weird most of the day... shaky, almost like low blood sugar, hungry but not... a little off and out of whack, doing ok now. Looking forward to eating fats and pork again tomorrow night!!

Avy, did you lose the 0.2?

-------------------

Leslie & Kathleen, updates?

-------------------

I weighed in early today. I didn't sleep well and decided to have one of my "snacks" as breakfast today (strawberries and Melba toast) with some coffee (iced folgers caramel drizzle with the daily allowance of a tbsp of milk) - I am curious to see if it will effect my weigh in tomorrow.

Anyways, down 0.6 today. I am 120.2 lbs and my goal was to hit 119.9 or below before my interruption next week. I think that I will make it. Hopefully, I gain less than 5 lbs during the interruption, but we shall see. I'm confident that whatever I gain during the interruption can be lost during the following 3-4 weeks (until I run out of drops and pellets) so I'm not too concerned. I hate having an interruption so close to goal though and having to re-lose the weight and stretching out P2. I guess that is better than moving to P3 and having to interrupt those precious stabilizing weeks though.

Good luck to everyone today

JGR are you sticking to P3 foods during your interruption? If you treat it like P3 and do the 2 or 3 500 calorie days without hHCG or HCG whichever you are using and then eat only the P3 foods you shouldn't gain more than 2 pounds out of your window right?

No, I won't be able to stick to P3 foods. My parents are coming to visit and my mom is completely anti-diets. She is the type that thinks diets are unhealthy and unnatural. She is a big "homestyle cooking must be shoved down my baby's throat every time I see her" type of person. She only visits around once a year, and she will only be here for 2-4 days so in all honesty it would be easier to entertain her and eat her cooking than to cause a huge family ordeal by "insulting" her by turning down her food. She is the type of person that would lecture, throw a fit, and cry if she knew I was doing this or anything even remotely close to it. I know I'll be able to stay on track for breakfast meals (eggs and bacon) but lunches and dinners will most likely be homemade chicken and dumplings, homemade Mexican or chinese items, and other starchy things. She will make banana pudding for desert like she always does. My nephew is coming with them and it is his 7th birthday so she will probably make a cake too. I'm completely dreading gaining weight, but knowing my mother it is the lesser or two evils. I do plan on having a salad before each meal to help fill me up, but she may even comment on that so we shall see. I have also considered playing sick for one of the days she is here, but then she would probably make homemade chicken noodle soup or something so it would not help. Sorry for the run on paragraph - I'm on my phone.
