I will probably do one or both, depending how this goes. I added the melba toast tonight for the first time, as a test, and because my calories are so low today. I haven't used them before but I keep reading people who didn't and then had problems stabilizing after, or tolerating any of those kinds of carbs. I really just wanted to test it and check for cravings. I don't plan to eat them every day, not really a food I enjoy too much, and I don't eat wheat much at all normally.

Well, congrats to all with the weight loss. I went up 1/2 lb yesterday. Not sure what it was, maybe it was the sparkling water I got at Wally world. it's hardly water. Do not buy it.

I am so ready for the low carb. At this point in the VLC P2 I just scream when i have to eat another pece of chicken.
I made a 3 oz steak last night and had broccoli. this is the 1st for this go around. It filled me up and I did not even eat my strawberries.
We got lots of rain yesterday ladies. I had a river in my front yard. But the sun finally came out and I will eat my little lunch outside today.
Ty Jesus that I do not have TOM any more. what a PITA.
Well, will check back later.
Everyone have a good VLC day!

Took an epsom salt bath, mixed up my food choices, and I am STILL stalled. Ugh.

Avy, congrats on the loss.

How long have you been stalled? How's the measuring? i don't remember, have you cut out supplements, coconut oil, or something else I'm not thinking of, as a test? Was definitely the coconut oil for me. And entire week I won't get back.

On a better note,

Tonight I had the most fabulous dinner. I baked a talapia fillet with curry powder, garlic, onion powder, and a few tablespoons of chicken broth, and poured it over chopped roasted cabbage.

I ate a lot of cabbage during P2, seemed to fill me up the most. Congrats on finding out what works and what doesn't and wishing you continued weight loss!

Thanks! I'm finding the volume of food is plenty. I don't usually eat the melba, so I have to up my veggies to get even close to 500 calories, including counting every calorie in every spice I use etc. I bought a head of cabbage and roasted it, so cabbage all week lol. can't wait to roast it with oil in P3+.

Stalled since Friday (scale and measuring) I haven't used anything that is off protocol like CO or anything, so I don't really have anything to cut out. Some days I eat all of the toast and fruit servings, some days I don't.

Wasn't taking any supplements. I tried a multivitamin and it made me sick within 5 minutes.

That meal sounds delicious!

Awh. How far in to the round are you? Maybe your body is just trying to catch up? I dunno, I'm no expert. :/

I started around the same time as you guys with the pellets/drops, but was doing non-hormonal pills for around 3 weeks before switching. I think it was just time for a stall. I weighed myself just now and lost 1.2 lbs so hopefully it is over.

What are pellets? are you getting them online? weight loss clinic?

I am down 1.5 from yesterday. These last few days on the drops are always iffy. Total lost on this go around so far is 12.5. Not as good as the first time but I will take anything at this point.

Avy, congrats on the 1/2 way mark. I am nowhere near mine.

Everyone have a good weight loss day.

I buy them online from the manufacturer. They are very tiny circles that you hold under the tongue (hcg is sprayed on the outside). Do a search on this site about pellets and see if it is something that interests you. I use Intermountain brand.

Hey ladies. Hanging out at the same weight the last couple of days but I'm ok with it. I'm not really sure how much longer I can keep going. I'm literally counting the days to when I can exit this phase with a quickness. I don't think I'll do another round of this. I never experienced the suppressed appetite so I've just been feeling starving and deprived since vlcd1! I was hoping to be done and into P3 next week, but Avy you mentioned not changing until at least 3 days after TOM? I hadn't read that (but I don't have a whole lot of time to read through the threads anyway). That makes me pray fervently for a short period! lol

Congrats on the losses!

P.S. Plus it doesn't help that my husband is whining about us eating different things and irritated by the fact our ritual of cooking dinner together every night has been altered. AND HE'S SENDING ME PICTURES AND LINKS OF MOUTH WATERING (mostly low carb) RECIPES!!! lol

Did you eat anything before taking your multivitamin? I can't take them on an empty stomach within a few minutes i'm headed to the bathroom, but i can take them once i've eaten something

Nurse Leslie,
Sorry to hear that you are feeling starved. The only thing that comes to mind is that on your load days, you might not have eaten enough "fat" stuff. OR you may not be taking the correct dosage of HCG. This is my 3rd try in as many years. I really hate this, that is why I only do the 23 day program.

But, I do know that when I loaded I ate so much that just the thought of eating again was making me ill. I did look forward to "not eating so much". I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss.

Avy, thanks for the info. I will look it up. JIC.

I belong to a Facebook group, I think it's hidden, not sure, but I buy my drops from them...mirracleskinnydrops... and on all the blogs and articles they write they recommend not starting or stopping a round until 3 days before or after your period, so your LDW is accurate as well as your start weight and you're not fluctuating wildly from hormones etc.

I was not dieting the few weeks prior to starting hcg. Pretty much ate whatever I wanted for a bit. I loaded really well on day 1, then my husband and I caught a stomach bug and were miserable on day 2. I guess that probably means I should have loaded an extra day...

Yesterday was exceptionally rough. I only took my first early morning dose of pellets. Busy day at work and then managed to ruin dinner so I only ate a bit of cabbage. When I woke up this morning and realized it had been a full 24 hours off hcg, I figured I might as well see it through to 48 hours and start p3. Still dealing with TOM so I hope that doesn't cause any problems.

How long have you been doing the HCG diet for? Just making sure you have done it for the minimum time before giving up on it because you may have stabilization issues if you haven't

Good day to everyone!
Well , I went up 1 lb yesterday. This has happened before. I decided to quit the P2. go directly to P3. I was suprised on how little filled me up for lunch! I keep telling myself, watch the cals and NO STARCHES OR Sugars.
Wish me luck.

Bright side. I get to see my 2 darling grandbabies this weekend. One is 4 and the other is 1.5. Both girls! Of Course I get to see my daughter also.

Slowed down overnight, barely a loss. The scale couldn't decide if if was 88.8 or still 189.

How long have you been doing the HCG diet for? Just making sure you have done it for the minimum time before giving up on it because you may have stabilization issues if you haven't
I was on day 20 when I missed doses. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I worry about p3. I desperately want to eat some things I've been missing. But I think for at least the first few days I will eat like p2 but double or triple my protein. I made a double batch of p2 chili last night to eat on over the weekend. I hope that I will stabilize. Anyone who has struggled with their weight would worry, I think... Plus I have more weight to lose. Just not sure if I will do hcg again or try another WOE like JUDDD or NK or just low carb it for awhile...

Weighed in at 189.0 this AM. You guys are doing so great! I generally have a lot of willpower when it comes to dieting, but this one sure sent me for a loop. IF I ever do another round, I may consider ordering Rx hcg from a pharmacy somewhere. I'm afraid my pellets weren't 100% effective somehow. Maybe damaged by temps in shipping or something? I don't know.

Feeling pretty crampy and spotty, so I'm not looking for ward to the next week of possible water retention and no losses lol. We'll see. I have a Mirena IUD and normally don't have a TOM.

My fantasy goal for March is 180, but who knows, with TOM, stalling, and dragging out the hCG. I'll be happy with any loss right now.

Could just be a little water retention, 1 cup of water can easily weigh that I think! Not enough sleep makes the scale go up for me.

Surprised the scale went down so much today, after my TOM symptoms all day yesterday, sure I'm ovulating or something. But, makes me happy!
