Introduction and pellet questions

Hello everyone. My name is Jackie. This may be long, so I'll put my questions in bold.

I am currently taking the HCG Activator Pills from GNC, but after coming across this site I wanted to try the real thing. I am having success with these pills (been on them for 2 weeks and have lost 10 lbs) but would I have better results with a real HCG product (like Intermoutain) or would results be the same?

I went ahead and placed an order for pellets, but saw that their notice stating that it may take 1-2 weeks to ship. Has anyone ordered pellets from Intermountain lately, if so how long was it before they really did ship your order?

I also ordered a 15 day supply of the drops for the days that I have to work, since some posts say that it may take a while for pellets to dissolve. Is it ok to use pellets on most days but use drops on work days? If not, I guess I will start with one product type and then switch after I run out.

Since I am using a product that doesn't have any HCG in it, can I just switch as soon as I get my drops or pellets, or do I need to wait in between them or what? Do I need to start over at load days, or can I just jump into phase 2 since I'm already on the 500 calorie diet?

Also, since the current product doesn't have HCG can I do a full round with the Intermountain products or do I have to deduct the days from my current non-HCG pills from the amount of round days allowed?

I downloaded their guide, which gives 3 different options for drops, but doesn't mention pellets. I've researched on here and it seems like people mostly do them 3 pills, 3 times a day. Are there any other options for taking the pellets?

Anyways, I have roughly more 25-30 lbs that I want to lose, in addition to the 10 I've already lost on these current pills. If you are extremely close to your goal (like within 5 lbs), can you just do a few extra days on a round or is it really necessary to stop and come back for a completely different round?

I want to thank you all in advance for reading my post and answering my questions!

--I don't recommend the non-hormone HCG but I DO know that they work for some people. If you are losing weight and ARE NOT HUNGRY OR HAVING LOW BLOOD SUGAR SYMPTOMS, I'd keep going until your Intermountain gets here.

I went ahead and placed an order for pellets, but saw that their notice stating that it may take 1-2 weeks to ship. Has anyone ordered pellets from Intermountain lately, if so how long was it before they really did ship your order?

--Not sure but I think they may be backordered because of an upcoming Dr. Oz episode. Usually they ship pretty quickly but no telling when you might get them if they are backordered.

I also ordered a 15 day supply of the drops for the days that I have to work, since some posts say that it may take a while for pellets to dissolve. Is it ok to use pellets on most days but use drops on work days? If not, I guess I will start with one product type and then switch after I run out.

--It's fine to take both drops and pellets (I did). THAT SAID, you do not have to wait for the pellets to dissolve fully. The hcg is applied to the outside of the pellets so once that has dissolved, you can crunch them up and swallow (usually about 2 minutes). I actually found them MORE convenient at work than the drops because I could stick them under my tongue and still talk. I found it easiest to dispense them by putting them in a plastic baggie and pushing the pellets onto a spoon thru the baggie. Easier than trying to get exactly 3 in the cap!

Since I am using a product that doesn't have any HCG in it, can I just switch as soon as I get my drops or pellets, or do I need to wait in between them or what? Do I need to start over at load days, or can I just jump into phase 2 since I'm already on the 500 calorie diet?

--Again, as long as you're not hungry, just carry on with the diet and do not reload. If you start to get hungry or fatigued or you stop losing weight, then revisit that decision.

Also, since the current product doesn't have HCG can I do a full round with the Intermountain products or do I have to deduct the days from my current non-HCG pills from the amount of round days allowed?

--Usually immunity is only an issue with the rx. You are not using an hCG product now. If you wanted to be strict(er), start counting your days from when you first start the actual homeopathic Intermountain. Some people on here have gone as long as 90 days straight on homeopathic with great success, though.

I downloaded their guide, which gives 3 different options for drops, but doesn't mention pellets. I've researched on here and it seems like people mostly do them 3 pills, 3 times a day. Are there any other options for taking the pellets?

--There are as many options as you can dream up but most people go with at least a 3 or 4x daily split. If you do 3x daily, the typical dose is 3 or 4 pellets. If you do 4x daily, the typical dose is 2 pellets. Whatever works for hunger suppression best for you. I WILL say LESS is more with hCG. If you're hungry, DECREASE your dosage, do not INCREASE.

Anyways, I have roughly more 25-30 lbs that I want to lose, in addition to the 10 I've already lost on these current pills. If you are extremely close to your goal (like within 5 lbs), can you just do a few extra days on a round or is it really necessary to stop and come back for a completely different round?

--See above on round length but your body will naturally tell you when it's done with a round. It will lose as much as it want to then you'll stop losing or you'll start to get hungry. Don't count on 2 lbs or even 1 pound per day. Average loss is 0.5 to 0.7 for women. Commit to a round and know that if you follow protocol you will come out the other side (regardless of round length) a lot thinner, a LOT faster than any other diet. Don't put a round goal weight on yourself. It's an added stressor that you don't really need. I have done 3 "goal" rounds to take off as little as 8 pounds. There are great re-shaping benefits to doing a round for a small number of pounds but as always, it's completely up to you.

GOOD LUCK and welcome!

Hi Jackie:

I can only answer a few of these questions because I'm brand new on this also. I'm taking the Intermountain HCG product. I got them right away. I am also taking the pellets. They are easy to take for me. They do take a bit to dissolve but not too badly. You can leave them under your tongue for 2 minutes and then swallow (no water!) as the package says. I get them as far as I can dissolve them patiently and then I swallow them - they are really tiny by then.

I am also taking another product at the same time and seem to be having really great results but I'll get back to you on that in another week or so when I figure out if it's really working or not.

Welcome aboard and good luck. I will try and post often when I'm having good results or find something that's working really well. This site is awesome for that. I've found some really great recipes here!

I don't recommend the non-hormone HCG but I DO know that they work for some people. If you are losing weight and ARE NOT HUNGRY OR HAVING LOW BLOOD SUGAR SYMPTOMS, I'd keep going until your Intermountain gets here.

--- Thanks. I will do that. Should I just instantly switch over when they come in, or do I need to overlap them for a day or two?

Not sure but I think they may be backordered because of an upcoming Dr. Oz episode. Usually they ship pretty quickly but no telling when you might get them if they are backordered.

--- Any details on what he will be saying?

It's fine to take both drops and pellets (I did). THAT SAID, you do not have to wait for the pellets to dissolve fully. --- This information is gold! Thank you

Again, as long as you're not hungry, just carry on with the diet and do not reload. If you start to get hungry or fatigued or you stop losing weight, then revisit that decision.

--- Understandable.

Usually immunity is only an issue with the rx. You are not using an hCG product now. --- That's what I was hoping to hear. I really don't want to have to count those "wasted" days towards it.

There are as many options as you can dream up but most people go with at least a 3 or 4x daily split.

--- Had no idea about the less is more rule, thanks.

--- Thank you for the encouragement. I am hoping that I can stretch out the round until I meet my goal weight.

Linda,

When did you place your order? Did it have that message on the pellets page about taking a week to two weeks to ship?

I am curious as to what else you are trying. Be sure to let me know what it is if it works, if you don't mind.

Good luck and thanks for the help!

My pellets from intermountain came in 3 days. I bought these last week.

However, somebody just mentioned a segment on HCG on T V being on today. This will increases sales dramatically. So, if you haven't order order quickly before these are back ordered.

The pellets look like small tapioca pods....at least mine do. Easier to use, but I seem a bit hungrier on them than the drops. The drops make me lack hungry at all.

Personally, I'd just switch.

Nope. I think he's a bit of a kook so I don't much care but I feel that way about most mainstream medical doctors. Last I heard, after being anti-hCG, he became pro-hCG but recommended a 1200 calorie diet and only the rx.

You are very welcome!

Thanks for the info. I received an email telling me the drops shipped the day after I placed the order, but nothing about the pellets yet.
