R5 P3 D9 and I'm not doing so well. This is the first round that I have not been stabilizing. I'm either at the top of my window or up to two lbs over. It's about time for bed and I know by my weight tonight that I will be about 3 or more lbs above my window by the morning.
I guess I should do the Greek yogurt day tomorrow but I did it a few days ago and didn't lose but about half a lb. I'm thinking that I should just go back to p2 although I was barely losing anything in the end. Maybe the break will get things moving again if I start back with p2. I have been eating too many sunflower and pumpkin seeds. I figure they're the culprit. I'm afraid of gaining back the measly 9 lbs I lost during my round unless I do something drastic and quick. I'll be there in no time at this rate. Grrr. |

Hang in there and remember that many people stabilize 2 lbs above their window because that is where there body wants to be right now. You might have to accept that if that is the case and just get that off in another round. Up again this AM. Too much sodium yesterday I think. Today will be better! Have a great day everyone!! ![]() |

Yucky morning ! Tom is set to come next week but I get the feeling it might come earlier. Since yesterday I started to break out & I was grouchy/tired & my back is killing me. Today I am up yet another lb which puts me exactly 2.6 over ldw. I didn't add anything new. I am not doing a correction day. Eating clean today & planning on sleeping in very late tomorrow & see if that does the trick. But if I am still up tomorrow will do a GY day.
Today's menu will be B- 2 eggs with mayo & 1 sausage patty / L- cubed steak & half a cup of GY / D - 2 calf liver steaks with shrimp / S - salami/piece of cheese & coffee with hwc. |

![]() just checking to see if this works, this is my week so far of stabilization from my tracking. While i'd rather be losing i'm enjoying maintenance right now and know its the right thing to do after losing so quickly. I didn't honestly expect once i started eating and upping the calories again that the weight loss would remain as stable as it has. I'm sooo glad that i am not gaining it back! |

Quick question for you vets, my calcium magnesium with zinc vitamins say to take a few hours before or after any other 'medication.' Would you say that other vitamins are 'medications' also would my HCG drops be considered 'medication'??
I wish they would be a little more specific as to what medications they mean, just prescription meds or what?? thanks |

Onedimsim - PI = Planned Interuption!
Sillyme - congrats on stabilizing! So far, so good! P3D7 and still at my exact weight of 152.4! Yesterday, added olive oil, coat cheese and GY with walnuts. Forgot how much I missed GY and cheeeeeese. Didn't overdo any of it but tried to eat until comfortable. I was so content I forgot my baked apple. Tonight we have a work-related dinner party. The menu will be manageable except the pork tenderloin marinade includes some honey, and we'll have some wine. I'm actually looking forward to it. I'll let you know tomorrow! : ) Wishing everyone well today!

Nice start to my 3rd week of P4D15 & down -2 to 128.8 which were I am stabilizing at +.6 over ldw. All by itself it went down with no steak day or starvation
So glad I did not freak out & listened to my body & did not do a CD yesterday. I ate till satisfied but I only did not eat past 7 pm. Didn't focus on carbs or percentages just ate when hungry & I did add a big salad with tomatoes and strawberries for dinner because I wanted to ![]() Though I'm still waiting for tom to get here ! But a good night's sleep does wonders & I only slept 2 extra hours. Also working on my stress levels. My DS had a better day yesterday & work is crazy stressful as usual & we were notified by the property manager that handles the house we lease that the owner can't make her mortgage payments so is going to sell Oh well we have until June and need to start looking for a house. Though we were thinking of buying in 2 or 3 years not 3 months ! So for now I do like the ease of renting but I hate the hassle of moving when we were so settled here. Oh well life is ever so interesting & things happen for a reason.Happy Saturday ladies ![]() |

suggestions of low glycemic fruits ?
Looking to add some fruit variety to my diet. Any suggestions on low glycemic fruits other than strawberries ? Want to add back some different fruits next week. Also if I'm adding more fruits/veggies do I need to cut back some of the fat in my diet ? I've always been very P3 on all my prior P4's so a little confused.
Right now I do have about 2 tablespoons of full fat dressing in both my lunch & dinner salad. My menu for the week usually consists of : mayo/butter/olive oil/GY/guacamole/hwc/almonds/bacon/protein/strawberries/apple/salad/tomato/ cucumber/onion/sweet potato. |

Not sure about low glycemic, but I had blueberries (Costco has great frozen organic wild blueberries), frozen sliced peaches, frozen cherries (frozen by me when in season), fresh pears and cantaloupe and "golden" melon on P3/P4. Oh, and fresh pineapple. Didn't venture as far as grapes, though.
I've even had those blueberries and fresh raspberries in P2, to be honest. I googled and found this: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/best-...#axzz2LlcVlklU Last edited by Jeanyyy; 02-23-2013 at 03:17 PM.. |

P3D9 and I am just 0.3 over my LDW.
![]() I was UP a bit more yesterday and even though I went out to dinner last night (Prime Rib...YUM!) I was down this AM. The first week of P3 can be such a roller coaster as we add new foods in. |

Ok, so I didn't stay as "on plan" as I would have liked with our staff dinner party last night. Had 5 crackers with smoked salmon and cream cheese spread, 2 crackers with cheese ball of some sort, with a glass of wine.
Then, a great dinner of pork tenderloin, salad w/dressing, grilled asparagus and another glass of wine. Should have ended the eating/drinking part here. It was a looooong dinner, so huge mistake was having a third glass of wine instead of water b/c by the time the dessert came out, I had no inhibitions and went off the rails. Had 4 peanut butter cookies and a sliver of flourless chocolate cake with a cherry sauce. At this point, I was really, really stuffed. Didn't sleep all night from so many crazy foods in my system after eating really clean for these 7 weeks. ![]() Up 1.6 today and plan to stay on plan and be fine by Tuesday or Wednesday. Happy it wasn't lots more. |

Morning all ! P4D16 & up 1.4 though still within my ldw but I did have a fluctuation up from yesterday. I'm not sure if the not keeping track of calories /foods & I am eating a bit more than usual or since tom is coming it's causing the big fluctuations. I tend to lean toward tom. It always plays havoc the week before it actually comes & then when it gets here.
So today just eating to hunger. This morning not hungry so just had hwc and coffee. Feeling nauseous and not into bacon/eggs so I know things are not normal since I always look forward to my weekend staple breakfast of bacon/eggs/guacamole ![]() It's funny because in P2 we can't wait to be in P3 and then in P3 we are so worried about stabilizing we can't wait to be in P4. Well P4 is sort of "ok so this is the forever phase ?" I guess no phase is easy & each has it's benefits & challenges. I have to just adjust my view of P4 and that it's a way of life/eating and not another phase. Still working on it ![]() Last edited by pandora174; 02-24-2013 at 07:04 AM.. |

ok question for those of you who have done this before, does it take time for Bernice to become regular again? I can understand her not coming to visit much during P2 and I didn't use any supplements for that as I didn't feel clogged up, i just figured with the small amount of food my body was actually using it as fuel and there just wasn't as much waste. However she still doesn't come to visit very often, maybe every 3 or 4 days and I still don't feel clogged up but it seems odd.

Hi, Everyone. Today is P3D12 for me and I'm down 3 lbs from LDW (I know that's not a good thing). I'm going to introduce GY this morning but am wondering if I'm missing any other "allowable non-starch/sugar" that I could introduce.... My main foods per day are apple, 1/2c cottage cheese, 1/4c almonds, little bit of cheese, either chicken, fish, or 96/4 ground beef, grapefruit, zucchini, cauliflower, celery, tomato, mushrooms, lettuce, and half and half. I'm definitely going to add the low sugar fruits this week - strawberries or blueberries (thanks for reminder in post above!). You're all very inspiring - thanks for taking the time to post your experiences.

After my panic post (above) a couple of days ago I was back in my window and have been for two days. I just need to stay away from the sunflower seeds. They're low carb, but salty and I'm not done until I eat the whole pack. I've been having coffee with hwc and making ice cream in my Vitamix just about everyday, either vanilla, strawberry or chocolate. It's such a treat and the dairy doesn't seem to affect my maintenance. pandora, I think that people like us that gain weight easily, are always going to have to be careful with the sugars and starches for the rest of our lives. I know we might get away with occasional indulgences but starches and sugars are not my friends and never will be. I'm perfectly ok with that. Last edited by Felina; 02-24-2013 at 08:34 AM.. |
