Just when I'm feeling really bad about gaining 3lbs, my DD (11) comes home from a sleepover (family day here in Canada, so it's a long weekend) and tells me all her friends noticed I lost a lot of weight.
She says," mom if kids notice, it must be really noticeable !" I asked her if that made her feel good for her friends to talk about me that way. She said,"yes and don't ever put the weight on again, you look so pretty!" Well I'll take that as added incentive or a regular old kick in the pants to keep it off! Support comes from the most unexpected places!

R4P4D11 & up +1.6 yuck but only +1.2 over ldw. I did add sweet potato last night but I don't think it was that at all. What I do think is that Sat/Sun & Mon I slept in an extra 3 hours every day. Today I am back to my regular routine & up at 6 am so I know had I slept in I would STS. Also coincidentally I weighed last night before bed just out of curiosity & I was 129.6 vs this morning 129.4. My fat percentage is the same as the day before. My weight always goes up 2 to 3 lbs during the day and then it's gone in the morning so it being the same from the night before tells me it's a fluctuation.
Today making sure I have all my water and keeping on. Will try the sweet potato another day this week & see what happens. What is great is before I would of been upset or had an "all protein day". But today I saw it for what it was & kept my meals planned as is with no change other than make sure I have all my water. I really feel a change in my attitude toward the scale and not letting it rule my emotions as much Last edited by pandora174; 02-19-2013 at 05:23 AM.. |

R5P3D6, okay, I already had to do a correction day on D4 of P3, and it looks like I will need another one today D6. I weigh 1.5 hours.
So, how does the coffee and bacon day go? I could eat a lot of bacon. Is there a restriction on how much bacon we can have? Also, can I have hwc in my coffee? If so, how much, how often? I'm also wondering if I should just get back on HCG since it is only D6 and needing my 2nd CD. Also toying with the idea of fat fasting instead. Any thoughts? Have you added a lot of things in at once ? What"s your menu look like ? I posted in the P3 thread during my Round 3 & got lots of good advice that once I eliminated some things & added others I was fine for the rest of P3 &used that advice for my Round 4. I also notice for me that after a CD I tend gain back to where my body wants to stabilize. This time around I'm in the 128-129 range. Can't help you in the fat fast as I've never tried it. But I have eaten no carbs/high fat/high protein & dropped some in P3 when the scale is getting too close to that 2 lbs mark. If you are within 2 weeks of your last dose you can go back on HCG with no loading & consider it a PI. It's entirely up to you Last edited by pandora174; 02-19-2013 at 07:05 AM.. |

Hard start to P3. Were you stable at your LDW b/4 moving on? I've had rounds and heard others do a an adjusted LDW b/c thier final weight was a new low, that just couldn't be maintained. Hope you settle down into P3, or maybe go back for a bit more P2? ![]() You're all doing great!! KUTGW!! That rollercoaster will settle down. I'm down some from my GY. I wish I could just eat that all day everyday But I know the scale wouldn't react that way every day . Still, it's yummy and satisfying ![]()

I have been taking it really slow, and have only added in so far, butter, coconut oil,and hwc.along with the skin on chicken, bacon and eggs. Last nite was a good size rib eye, with broccoli and butter, and strawberries for desert.Tomorrow i hope to add in some greek yogurt with berries .Trying to not add in to much fruit as its really high carb. berries are best. .5 under ldw |

The next day I was 2.8 over ldw so did a steak day. Woke up yesterday to just .5 over ldw. Yesterday i started with bacon & eggs. i was out all day so i didn't eat until i was so hungry and it was almost 7pm so i went to a buffet. Tried to stay low carb, but who knows what's really in that stuff. The mushroom sauce tasted a little sweet and something else tasted sweet so I tasted and didn't eat anymore. Still, I had delicious fried chicken which included breading! I shouldn't have let myself get too hungry since I'm only in the first week of P3.Today I am +2lbs over ldw! One lb. of bacon doesn't seem like much. How does the GY day go? How much can I have? Can I add sweetener and/or fruit? I just have to take care of this today so the lbs don't creep back on. Thanks for all of your help. Last edited by Felina; 02-19-2013 at 08:35 AM.. |

I agree re the sodium minefield... If I were you, I would not do another CD; I would slam the water, stick to approved P3 foods (no sugar, no starch) and reasonable quantitities and watch the scale go down tomorrow!! |

I will go for my blood work tomorrow so I'll be tested for food allergies and get information re my hormone levels. Going to the doc is tough, but I am looking forward to getting the results. I am not going to do another round any time soon. I'd like a break. However, last year, I did my second round six weeks after my first. I was happy with the outcome. |

Well so far scale seems to be treating me well in P3
LDW was 210.2 P3D1 i started at 208.6 P3D2 was 209 P3D3 was 210.2 P3D4 back to 208.8 Now keep in mind i don't always weigh at the same time because of my work schedule so this morning is 3 hours later than day 2 and 3 so i would say i've stayed pretty close to the same if i would have weighed at the same times daily. I added back in an ounce of cheese on my salad last night. I have to say i've missed it dearly but know its something i should be careful with! |

Morning all ! P4D12 & down -.6 to 128.8 so +.6 over ldw. Today going to have sweet potato again & see how it goes tomorrow. Then this weekend planning on a low carb bagel. Then after the 3rd week of P4 is done I am planning on eating like I am eating now but not entering my food in a food log.
Now if only I could get myself not to weigh in everyday. Once I am done in P4may try to do it every other day so I can try to break that routine. |

I need your help ladies! I don't know what to do. I have been on a planned interruption for a week and a half. I had some sugar and carbs on Sunday. So I did a gy day on monday and then a steak day yesterday. So I weigh in today and I'm up 9 lbs still.
I was planning on starting p2 again today. But.I didn't know I was up that much. I've had a few sips of coffee w hc so far today. Should I do another cd or just start the drops back today. I wanted to get to 175 this round, I was at like 180 at the beginning of the interruption ![]() |
