Well I am in sunny Arizona. My sweet Leigh played softball like a pro this weekend. I am so glad I was able to fly out here and be a part of this adventure.

I brought my scales along and so far I have been maintaining. I must have picked up germs from the airplane, I feel pretty crappy. Sinus/ear infection is the verdict and I can't fly home tomorrow. I am looking at it as getting an extra day off from work. My mother in law is with me and since I can't fly with the fluid on my ears tomorrow we are going to drive six hours and see the Grand Canyon.

Well i didn't even eat all the food i had planned out for yesterday! I did however eat more of the steak at dinner than I had planned to have, so calorie wise it ended up the same. Not too sure my body was pleased with the added fat after being so low with it for so long. TMI but after not seeing Bernice for a few days she definitely showed up last night!
This morning I am still 1.2 below my LDW so happy with that!

Honestly, do not worry about the calories. Eat until comfortably full and you will do great!!

Have you tried coconut oil? I get itchy scalp sometimes and I melt some coconut oil, pour it on my scalp and rub in in a bit... I leave it on for at least an hour. Gets rid of the itching and makes my hair look great. Some people think it's OK to apply CO topically on this diet. I have only used it twice on protocol when i was really dry. It didn't seem to impact my losses.

Day 2 of P3 and up .2. No biggie. Going into work late this morning so DH made eggs with spinach and a little onion. I had to choke it down since I'm not a breakfast eater but I guess I have to consider new ways of approaching my health.

I used coconut oil as a moisturizer last night and if felt great. A little greasy on my face. I'm not sure how I could do this and keep my hair from getting greased up. Gonna try it for a few days.

I am up 5lbs!! How did this happen? I'm truly at a loss, although I feel TOM coming, but 5lbs? It may have to with the fact I ate supper so late yesterday because I was crazy busy all day.

Going to the Sticky's to get some correction ideas going. Did I mention I feel double gross? Bloated and unhappy.

That I have not.... but perhaps I will when I have a day when it would work out time-wise. In the meantime, she has given me a prescription shampoo to try.

5 lbs overnight ? Likely tom. I hate tom myself specially in P3. There are lots of great CD. My favorite is the Greek yogurt, followed by egg day & then steak day. Though I've been curious to try the bacon/coffee day. Drink lots of water with lemon or hot water with lemon & it will drop off. It's water gain & inflammation. Just in case did you add any new foods ? Has your menu altered

I know I am unable to eat after 7PM and see a loss on the scale (I know you are in P3 and do not need losses, but still feel I get a "mis-reading" on the scale whenever I eat after 7PM whether on P2 or P3 or beyond) the next morning. The food hasn't had time to digest yet. So chalk it up to that. Yes, 5 lbs is a lot. So the combo of TOM and eating late and depending on what you ate so late could put you up that much. I am sure it will whoosh off!! Push the water today

Sure I'm in P4 but I eat essentially P3. Would love crockpot recipes as well. I'm getting bored of my go to recipes right now.

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!

Morning ladies!! to those coming out of P2!! and to you guys!! Way to go!! Enjoy your food and fat!! It's such a nice reward for all the VLCDs. Take it a day at a time and relax a bit, you'll be fine!!

I'm doing a GYCD today. I'm so far past P4 I'm not sure it'll work but I need a mental shake up to get back into eating sensibly. I seem to have this indulgent mentality I can't get rid of. No matter how high the scale climbs! I am resisting going back to hcg, but I gain weight so quickly and easliy now, it's very frustrating!!

Word of advice to new P3ers - take it slow!! Once you're through P3/P4 and you gain for whatever indulgence, get a hold on it. Eat lightly the next day, get it back down. Don't use an indulgence as a license to make it a "cheat" day, then the next day, since you're already "off plan" why not 1 more piece of chocolate, cake, etc. It's a VERY slippery slope!! Trust me on this one!! .

Keep fighting the fight ladies!!

Love this! Thanks for the reminder! I keep remembering a key moment before I started hcg where I got on the scale and said, "How did I let this happen again?". One cheat after another and NOT getting a hold on it... I pray that moment stays permanently etched in my mind!

Something I realized today that made me really happy... Well, a bunch of things. And since it's all positive, I want to kind of... posi-rant (we need a word for that).

I LIKE the foods I live on now. If I had a choice between a yummy piece of salmon/sea bass/chicken/whatever and some veggies with a yummy sugar-free (but not fat free) sauce with a mug cake for desert... I would CHOOSE that over a pasta dinner!

When I see bread, I just think "headaches, inflammation, gain, who knows what else." I just don't really want it. It's almost invisible to me. When there are deserts that look good, and if my dinner felt light enough, I will share or just have a few bites. I LOVE leaving the table feeling comfortable and light. The last time I felt full was when I loaded. I've come to HATE that feeling as much as I love feeling light after eating.

And I'm getting really creative, too. Not only finally learning to cook a few things, but finding great substitutes for things I'd otherwise miss.

Last night we ordered in from this sort-of Indian (many Asian influences mixed together) and the dish I had was some kind of green curry chicken w/ veggies, meant to be put over jasmine rice. It smelled divine. I wish I could remember what it was. Anyway, I said no to the rice and poured it over a bowl of rinsed and warmed Miracle Noodles. It was SOOOOOO GOOOOD. And I didn't miss the rice one little bit. An whatever sugar may or may not have been in that sauce? That was my splurge. This morning the scale was down. Which I don't attribute to my dinner... I know the scale doesn't work that way. My point is... that's just how I eat now. Always. And I LOVE it.

I was planning on making myself a mug cake for desert, but I just didn't really want it. In the past, I'd be... okay, dinner was good... now I need something sweet. But I didn't really consider whether or not there was room. Then, I didn't care if there was room. Now, room means something different. I wish I could explain it better.

And the thing I can't quite get over: My thighs don't rub together. Anywhere. Even when I was 18 and had the most ridiculous body (although I didn't appreciate it), my thighs rubbed together at the very top. But now they don't. HCG took that away.

And best of all... avoiding carbs and sugar and keeping my stomach... "light" for lack of a better word... has nearly eliminated what used to chronic migraines. Granted, that could be weight loss, or just less processed stuff... but still. It's a HUGE change for me.

I'm so grateful. I hope I feel this way forever. I hope I'll be just as happy or happier after my final little round, if I do it. I can't thank you all enough for putting up with me and advising me.

End of posi-rant.

I love this! This is how I feel!! I *love* to cook and family and friends can't believe the change in me and how healthy I am beginning to look and feel. I hear you on the Bread=inflammation. So true for me!! Between giving up bread and diet coke, I can be on my feet all day without a bit of pain and I am NO where near having a 1 as the first number of my weight. Its eyeopening!!!

Thank you, Buttah! What a great testimony! Needed to hear that!

I, too, love how I feel! Today is our anniversary. Usually, I would use this as an excuse to chow down and pig out and then feel too bloated/stuffed to do anything. Tonight...totally different! DH made the most amazing steak (4oz measured out for each of us), baby bok choy in some kind of broth-based stock with onions and spices, THE most amazing Napa wine (two 4oz servings each!) and strawberries await us. We feel awesome! Sated, content, celebratory, and, well, ummm...good. I'll leave it at that Perfect evening without making food the centerpiece! We shall see how the scale treats this menu. I was totally on plan all day. Not worried.

Oh, and he's doing the dishes which is why I'm on here right now!

For me it's important in P3 to enter my foods in my food log (phone ap). This way I can keep track of protein/carb/fat percentages & when I need to tweek things or most importantly when I see a jump in the scale & I know what foods are the issue.

In P4 I do the same as I am introducing new things here & there. This time when I finish P4 I may relax a little on the food log until I am comfortable in having introduced the types of food I will be eating from now on.

totally agree for now, hoping though that i can eat and feel comfortable without being too tight on calories, in other words i worry right now that it came off so fast that if i don't eat right it will go on just as quickly...and i've already bagged up the clothes that are too big lol. But i want to know that I can eventually loosen up the reins on tracking everything everyday. This is my first experience with hHCG and i want to do it right. I will be loading again at Easter as I still have a lot to lose and will need to do more rounds.
