AFM, I am P3D13 and I am stabilizing well in my window.

My menu yesterday was:

B: Fried eggs and bacon (lots - I was *hungry* when I woke up)
S: Dunkin Iced with HWC
L: Leftover chicken thighs and broccoli sauteed in olive oil with lots of garlic and crushed red pepper!
S: Hand full of walnuts
D: Big ribeye with sauteed onions and mushrooms
S: blueberries and whipped cream!

I am going to make some coco crack tonight as I like to eat one if I am hungry in between meals and the coconut oil is so good for you.
Taking this advice! I salivate at your menus. It hit me just now that I CAN try to eat like this, as in "BIG" ribeye! I also keep forgetting about the garlic/crushed red pepper combo. DH was making awesome stuff in P2 but he is petering out. Need to step up my cooking game.

Pandora, sorry this has been so up and down for you. I sense that you have a good grasp on the history of how you lose. Just don't panic and let fear get the best of you. You've GOT this!

I like to take chicken wings salt and pepper broil them then toss in franks red hot and butter, yum. Wingstop is a good wing chain, no sugar and no breading on the boneless wings.

Angela- Every mom's worst nightmare! I'll be praying for that family and the neighborhood. How tragic!!

I'm still too high up on the scale. Trying to be patient, but this roll around my middle is getting too comfortable here! I think I'll have to bite the bullet and do another round. It's certainly not the end of the world, but I'd prefer to lose it w/ LC and exercise. Sigh. Oh well, I'll focus on being thankful I have some way to lose, not complain about it!

mommy, I have some unopened Tillamook pepper jack cheese in the fridge. Everyday I look at it and think about having some. Tomorrow will be two weeks on P3, I think I'll try a small slice. That stuff is so good.
Thanks! For some reason I'm really resisitant to "running back to hcg" for a quick fix. I think I'm finally stable but way too high. Hopefully if/when I'm back at goal my body will stabilize there. I sure hope so!!

Lara-house? What house? How exciting!! And nice drop!! Sounds like your body is cooperating nicely!

MOM-eat!! That's WAY too low for P3!! I'm all for taking it slowly and sticking that LDW number, but your body has been depleted for weeks now. You need to refuel it!

You're all doing great!! Keep up the good work!! I'm stalled WAY too high but hope this means I won't gain much when I "load" next week. Plannign to do it mostly LC anyway. We'll see .

You won't shock your system...trust me. When they say slowly add things they mean things that have shown to give people problems when starting P3 like nuts, dairy, eggs, and cheese. I seriously would UP your fats starting today. Your body *needs* them. Olive oil, coconut oil, avocados, fattier meats. I am suggesting this to help you...nothing more and in the end you need to do what you are comfortable with, but why not eat and stabilize at a higher calorie count? If I remember correctly, you are still losing and you should not be in P3.

Anyway...

Thanks. I love to cook and I am trying to introduce different veggies, fruits, meats, etc. to keep changing things up. So much boredom for me in P2.

On day one of P3 I always start the day with bacon and eggs. As long as you avoid carbs, high fat doesn't make you gain.

I usually have bacon and eggs too, but I don't have a problem with them. Some people do. By carbs, it is the refined carbs that are the ones that typically cause a weight gain. It is important to get your fruits in if you enjoy them so that you don't have a sensitivity going forward. Apple slices with cheese or nut butter (no peanut butter until P4...its a legume), berries and cream are great combinations.

That is why I'm not afraid of a tiny carrot in my smoothie.

Exactly!

I say its like a lifetime science project. You need to see which foods your body is sensitive to and either laser them to get rid of the sensitivity or be aware going forward that you might see temporary scale jumps due to the water weight from inflammation.

Yes, it's kind of fun when you think of it that way. I love science! (Even when its pseudo-science.) :P

I DON'T want to stabilize with low calories.

I must have use the laser for red wine three times. It hasn't done the job yet! I did Mac nuts yesterday in preparation for a fat fast day tomorrow. I hope it goes smoothly.

I have been off of coconut oil for about a month -- or it feels like a month! Anyway, tonight, I melted unsweetened bakers choc to a fudge consistency and added stevia. I put what I didn't eat in the fridge for tomorrow. I am a little excited at my rudimentary treat.

It didn't work for shrimp for me, but I believe I have developed a true allergy to that and not just a sensitivity.

It might be up a bit, but if you are within your window...it doesn't matter. That's the great part of HCG! You are practicing maintaining in between rounds. I love that!!

AFM, P3D14 and I am UP a bit today after a luncheon at work yesterday. I ate a sandwich (ditched the bread) and had fruit, veggies and dip and cheeses. Lots of sodium. Upping my water today will help get rid of that I think!

Been doing really well in my first week of p3. I've been in my window most days right at my LIW!

I've been eating cheese, sf choc covered almonds, almond butter and I'm not counting carbs or calories so its been good! Just have to watch myself this weekend bc I tend to go overboard on weekends if we eat out and I drink.
