Starting First VLCD Today

I'm excited about starting today and am very motivated to get this weight off. I was wondering if anyone has done over 60 days on hhcg pellets and then do the 3 weeks of P3 and then P4? I have over 100 pounds to lose.

I've learned so much from all of you and am thrilled that I found this forum. Thank you.

Best of luck to you, Kristy. I'm on my first round of HcG drops ever - today is VLCD 27 and I am down 21lbs. I have 150 as goal but it's really 135. I'm doing the 43 day HcG. I did read on the boards where one woman did 100 days and lost 63 lbs. I wish I could go that long but 43 days is really pushing it for me. I am so happy with my results but do tend to have "Debbie Downer" moments where I can't believe I'll have to maintain for 3 weeks at a number I'm so not happy to be at! But it's just a part of the journey and I can't expect to lose 75lbs in 43 days. Again, best of luck and looking forward to watching your journey. PS Dawn is awesome. I've had some questions on the board and she's always quick to help and VERY inspiring!

kristyb, there's a podcast titled, "Body for Life" by Colin Watson. I listened while one of the callers on there said he had stayed on protocol for six months and counting. He was down about 80 lbs at the time.

Colin is an hCG guru and adviser/counseler. It is his belief that you can remain on hCG until you have lost all of the weight you want to lose. He as a membership so I don't know if he has counseled hundreds or maybe thousands over the years, but he claims that he has never known one case of anyone becoming immune to rx hCG.

That being said, it's tough to maintain the VLCD for so long. Some of us take planned interruptions so that we can stay on a round longer.

Thank you everyone for your feedback and support. I know that I'm probably being over zealous on thinking that I can go any longer than the scheduled 21-42 days, but the idea of going into maintenance phase is hard when you have so much left to lose.

Thanks Felina for the information about the podcast. I'll definitely check it out.
