Vitamin D supplements while on P2

Hi All,

I just started another round 6 days ago. It's going pretty well. I lost 4.8 lbs so far but I just realized that I forgot to stop taking some of my supplements. I guess I should stop taking my krill oil but what I'm more concerned about is the Vit D. I'm defficient and am taking 5000iu's/day. They are a gel cap and when you open it, it's like an oil inside. Should I stop taking these or do you think the benefits outweigh the downside?

Also, I'm really trying to follow protocol to a "t"... That being said, you've got to wonder if some of the stuff isn't necessary. Like, I am putting a little CO on my body after a shower because my skin just gets soooo itchy in the winter if I don't. And I'm using chapstick. Do you think it really makes a difference?

I found Vitamin D that are tablets. I am always low on D and can't go without the supplement. (My clinic tells me to go off fish oil and any non-tablet vitamin/supplements, and I follow the rules).

However, they do allow CO as a moisturizer (the dietician says it functions exactly like mineral oil, which Simeons allowed). AND I don't believe the whole "calories from lotion" thing anyway! (And the doc at my clinic has confessed that she doesn't either, and she herself didn't follow that rule.) It did not hurt my losses, and I tried it "both" ways. If our bodies could get calories/fat into the bloodstream from lotions, those lotions would need a prescription and would not be OTC. We have learned a few things since the 1950's.

But my HCG clinic allows CO regardless (even though they follow Simeons with regard to oils and moisturizers).

Just my two cents.

I have found I must compromise only where vitamins are concerned. I have a severe problem taking the tablets (I get horrible stomach aches) so I do continue taking some of my vitamin d and some of my liquid mag capsules and my liquid capsule multiple. I alternate, don't take everything every day, but if I take the dry ones I am miserable. I burp and burp and burp. I have done without most vitamins most of my rounds but right now I am working hard to keep my adrenals happy and that takes vitamins. Therefore I am taking them even though they do contain some fat.

I have found out that you have to do what you have to do. If you can go without, it is best to do so. But if you simply cannot do without something, find a way to work it in plan. My vitamin D is in tablet form, so I continue taking it. However, the bottle says to take for 5 days out of the week. So I don't even take it every day normally.
