These are the must haves for me....
***Broth (I buy it just make sure it is pure - no fat/carbs etc)
***Fresh herbs and spices (basil, dill, cilantro, ginger etc) - even though there is no fat in our meals, the fresh herbs give out so much flavor.
***Sugar Free Salsa - I use it sparingly but it is nice for mexican salads (along with the cilantro)
***Cabbage - I need this to feel some what satisfied! yum. Lastest thing has been adding some fennel seeds to my beef with cabbage - reminds me of sausage.
***English Cukes - I also need to put Jane's Krazy Mixed up Salt on the slices.
***flaviored stevia and various flavored coffee kcups

As for necessary prep work - I take my lunch to work every day - I make a big bunch of meatloaf muffins (you can use any P2 meatloaf recipe) I use 99% fat free Turkey - I know it isn't on Protocal but it has never stalled me. I divide it up into servings of 2 muffins = 3.5 oz (I eyeball it) and bake - then freeze in ziplocks of 2. Every morning I pull out a pair put it in my lunch bag with an English Cuke - and that is lunch. (I just microwave the meatloaf and slice up the cuke in the work kitchen).

Also Prep - I brown up and season about 1-2 pounds of 96% Lean Ground Beef and freeze portions in those tiny glad ware containers. I can basically eyeball the amount. That way at dinner I just yank one out microwave it for a minute and throw it in with my cabbage or what ever I have going on the stove. I have also used these when making my kids meals too - they are so handy.

OK this is my 3rd round and I have been experimenting a lot. One thing I have found that has satisfied my mental hunger a few times (always at night) has been a big glass of Crystal Light. I was never a fan of CL, but then I wanted to try the Mojito flavor as well as the margarita one - and they work for me. I don't over do it - 1 glass seems to help keep me on track (I do this about 1-2x per week).

Oh ya, fake cocktails!

I often have a big glass of sparkling water with lemon, stevia and a dash of bitters. It feels like a cocktail. Some bitters will have minute amounts of citrus oil per serving, but it's negligible.

mojo,

Yeah, I always wonder why those models are wearing Miracle Suits?!? Of course, they want us to think it is the suit that makes them look so svelte and not their actual bodies..... They do work great, tho

toomuchbooty, hey, I clicked over to your blog. Man, your blankets are beautiful
