I'll be starting Round 3 on February 4th which means I'm loading this weekend!
I put back on everything I lost in my last round between Thanksgiving and Now and I feel icky and want to get back down to my LIW or lower so I'm looking forward to this (sort of) It will be nice to have some other buddies who are starting at the same time! |

Hi all,
Hope you don't mind me joining in. I'm starting VLCD5 and I was down .5 this morning to make it a total of 5.5 so far. My goal with this round is to lose 10 pounds, so I'm more than half-way there. I know it will slow way down next week, so I just hope I can get to the 10 pounds in this 23 day round. Lifeisgood, thanks for the advice on the Intermountain pellets. I might try switching to the drops when I've used up the pellets. I think what went wrong yesterday was that I missed my mid-morning snack. I have to eat every two hours or I'm just starving to death. I'm feeling much better today. Do you think I should take more pellets, like 4x a day? Did that help your hunger at all?

Hello an welcome!
Today, I go to my naturopath for my weekly check-in. By my scale, I'm down 14.4lbs in 11 on VLCD 11. Since I've banned myself from clothing shopping during my weight loss journey (I have clothes that will fit me at several sizes); I've decided to invest money in a vitamix after talking about it in the recent blender thread. So, today after work I'm going to pick one. Excited! |

Do it Reddy, come to the dark side!
I knew the second I told my neighbour I would like to purchase one, she would be on my doorstep. Sure enough, she came in (wearing her vitamix uniform no less) and proceeded to convince me even further. No turning back now. I'm only going to have a tea and an apple before I run my errands, so I can come back and make a smoothie with my new purchase when I get home. |

I just have to add.... you will LOVE the vitamix. My husband I had been looking at it for years before we took the plunge. Everytime they had them at Costco, we'd watch the whole demonstration. Now, when we go on vacation, we take it with us. I made some awesome HCG tomato soup in the fall with it. Didn't have to peel the tomatoes or anything... just wash an put in the blender.
(I don't come out of lurkdom much.... but had to comment Hi Everyone Karen |

Ha ha ha, what type of smoothie did you make? I need one of these things!
So I know this is going to sound ridiculous esp to those of you already in P2 so maybe plug your ears (eyes) but what the heck do I want to eat for loading? I swear whenever I'm in P2/P3 I can think of a million things that sound amazing and I'm like MAN I should have eaten that while I was loading but it's totally sinful and I'll never be able to eat it again. Then when Loading time comes I can't think of a thing I want to eat. I think I'll indulge in a slice of pizza and probably a frappucino or something at Starbucks... I am going to Disney this weekend so funnel cake is calling my name but what else should I have? What did you all indulge in while Loading??? |

Well I'm continuing on P2 for at least another week (plus 2 days), longer if i think i can mentally handle it and as long as I keep losing too! I'm starting VLCD 14 and i'm down 2.2 since yesterday.
Total loss including loading is 14.4 and not including loading is 12.2, pretty happy with that! I've never seen a Vitamix, probably if i did i'd think i needed one but I never use the immersion blender i have (though i do plan to try BPC when i'm done P2) and I have another blender that sits lonely in a cupboard. I think blenders are just not my thing, lol |

JUDDD isn't cutting it for me. I'm being really "good" and following strict rotations and working out. And I'm UP 2 bls!! They all say to give it more time, but at this rate I'll be up even more in a few weeks! So, I'm toying w. biting the bullet and doing hcg, again. At this rate, I'm up in the high 150's again . I need to get back into the 140's. I don't think I can maintain low 140's though, and even if I manage to get back there won't kill myself to lock that in. We'll see. At this point I'm scared to go to hcg right from JUDDD, as I recall Buttah had lots of hunger and that looks to be the culprit. I may just eat normally this next week and start Feb. 8. I'll BBL if I'm "in". Either way, good luck ladies!!

You're doing JUDDD? I didn't realize that. (obviously been away too long) I'm sorry to hear it's not working for you... join me in another P2! I think you might want to try a short break between JUDDD and P2 just to give your body some time. I do wonder if Buttahs hunger was due to coming off that WOE. I feel like my hunger was probably the result of being too close to my previous round. Since this time It's been almost 5 months, I'm hoping that won't happen. How long have you been doing JUDD? I am up 8lbs over LIW which I guess isn't that bad considering how I've been eating but I've pretty much undone my last round so I want to get back. I've realized that my body is most comfortable around 160 which isn't a bad number but I want to be in the 150's just like you want to be in the 140's! Let's do this! I'm so excited for Disney because we're taking LO for the first time! He LOVES mickey! We're just doing a day trip on Sunday because we're counting on the park to be less crowded b/c of the super bowl. Also at 17 months I don't know that he could handle much more than a few hours! Were only 1.5 hours away so a day trip is doable! Can't wait! |

julie, I've been watching to see if JUDDD was going to work for you. That's disappointing. All of those DD's and nothing to show for it.
It didn't work for me either but I only did it for three days. I stopped because I gained too much! Six lbs in three days!! My rotations were 300/900 so I know I didn't do it properly. You are supposed to have at least 1000 cals more on the UD than the DD. I always think I will go back to it for maintenance if that time ever comes. |

Down 1.8 lbs after gum surgery day (day 30 and 16.7 lbs lost this round). I did eat yesterday, but was told "cold and soft" foods only. So I had 100 g of cottage cheese in a smoothie with fruit and spinach for one meal and a Fage 2% plain yogurt with fruit for another "meal". I had bought the Fage at Trader Joe's in Bellingham to try it. Yum!
Anyway, this is the best loss I've had since Week 1 so I'm taking it! I just hope I don't bounce back up tomorrow... I'm soooo close to the 180s!! lol |

I'm using Intermountain pellets this time around and while they are a bit sweet, I found that eventually the "no hunger" thing did kick in. I took them 4X a day when I remembered but am now down to 3X.
Anyone else use Intermountain pellets successfully? I know I bought them due to positive reports I saw on this Forum. |

Mine usually took 10 to 14 business days so I always made sure I had enough to do the round as I didn't want to run out and not have access to them right away.

Back from my doctor's office. Great news! On his scale I lost 6.6lbs since Saturday, but that's not the really interesting thing. My body fat test showed a 9lb fat loss since Saturday.Im retaining a bit of water, so it's masking true losses. So happy to hear these results.
