WOE: hcg homeopathic drops
Did an apple day yesterday. Yeah, I know it's a little rogue in P2 but I was stalled for 5 days and needed a whoosh. Down 1.2 so it worked. Only 5 more days on drops! Hoping to make them count before 2 vlcds and then onto P3!

Welcome to Auntyemmm!

Shelle! on your official day 1!!

A big welcome to all our newcomers Wishing you a great round!

Down .6 this morning for a total of 5.6 since last Saturday! I'm on vlcd6 today and very pleased with my results so far. I think I'll pull up my first round and see what my stats were for that. Its been a long time but I'm curious now. I'm glad I got lots of walking and house stuff done yesterday as today is cold and overcast and frankly, I feel like lounging around and maybe starting a fire and some candles and watch chicky tv Think I'll have some p2 chili with a baked apple and a steak, sauteed zuch, mushrooms and onion with a strawberry sorbet for dessrt

Congrats! We started the same day! Wishing us both a fabulous result this round!

A couple of quesions.... what is the guidelines for vitamins/supplements that we are allowed to take that will NOT mess with our hcg therapy?

I know I have referred to this before in another thread but for sake of more info.... is it a concern if there are NO taste to the drops? They are tasteless like water. Very different from the other drops but they had alcohol in them.
Honestly, I can't recall what the protocol says but I have always supplemented while eating this way. I take a woman's everyday type, potassium, vit d3, magnesium and biotin. If you go to the stickies section you can see the overall plan. I'd check there if you want to do exactly as the original plan was written. Sorry I wasn't of more help to you. My drops (I have them but am using pellets this round) had a taste to me. Not a bad taste but a little chemically to me. Maybe check the mfr's website and see if they have a faq section that might answer for that brand specifically?

I'm at the halfway point for this round. 20 days left! I'm at 17lbs down in 20 vlcds. Really hoping I can drop another 10 over the next 3 weeks!

Apple day is NOT rogue in P2. Dr Simeon's put it in the protocol himself......and for a reason. You did great!!! Nice drop!!

I am not Shelby, but I do cottage cheese all the time in P2. It is wonderful!!! I can tolerate chicken only so long I use the 2%. I hate skim and cannot do full fat regular in P2, so I compromise and do the 2%. I do well when I add it in to my rotation of P2 protein.

I also read someone was using L Glutamine in a glass of water to quench a hunger. I tried it today, just 1/4 tsp in a glass of water and I wasn't hungry for several hours. This was cool!
I hate celery too. I tried it once on P2. I boiled it forever on the stove in some chicken broth and could tell it was done when it was tasteless. I had my portion and could choke it down that way. This is the only way I can tolerate celery.

I just looked at my "doctors" menu and it says 3/4 non-fat cottage cheeze, or up to 5 egg whites for a protein. Dr. Simeon allows for curdled milk as a protein for Hindu's who cannot eat meat (wouldn't that be similar to cottage cheese?).

I'm trying a stalk cut up in tiny pieces and eating it raw - cause I'm tough. LOL

That's fantastic. Today I'm back to where I was when I went to the clinic initially. I took a break for a week, to load & get the drops out of my system as required by the clinic. I didn't argue about loading again since I'd been on the VLC for 24 days...Kinda nice! Gained 6 lbs, now I've lost it again. I'm back in the game and you've been inspiring! I can tell I'm not as hungry on the shots and hopefully I'll have just as much success as you have had.

Just made strawberry sorbet for the first time and it was soo good.

I portioned out my strawberries, froze them, then put them in food processor with 2 packets of stevia and 1/3 cup water!

Sooo good!

I made my strawberry sorbet with six lg fresh strawberries and a little less than a cup of ice and stevia. It looked about the same except a little more frozen. It was so good. Too bad I already had both of my fruits today. I'll have to remember to make it tomorrow.

I am out til at least Valentine's day. Then 2/15 I am all yours I will for sure need to be "back on". I have been doing JUDDD for this past week and trying to keep to the rotations, but I am eating what I want. I have my mom visiting with us for the weekend (a very rare treat as she lives in FL!!) and my aunt's birthday tomorrow and a few things like that that will keep me from P2. So I am going to just keep plugging along best I can, wishing I could join you all in losing. But soon enough I will be back!

I don't count my lemon as a fruit. Dr Simeons' allowed for the juice of 1/2 of a lemon. I fudged and had 1 whole lemon when I made my strawberry lemonade on P2.

Ooh I want to do this. How would you do it? Peel it and then freeze? Don't think I've ever peeled a lemon- is it just like an orange or no?

That would be an awesome "freebie" treat!!!

Okay, half a lemon...but that's okay because I'd be using one for a recipe that I would share with my boyfriend.

I'll peel it with a knife and mix it with ice in the vitamix, freezing it first would be good too.

My first round I loved making granatas I've made sorbet a few times this time. It really does make things a little more pleasurable. Odd as this may sound, I don't miss my old food. What I miss is the kitchen prep. I love to cook so easy stuff isn't that fun for me. I could throw a dinner party every day of the week if I had people to attend so my challenge with hhcg is to come up with things that take me awhile to prepare. Somehow that brings more value to them in my head and makes them more normal. I know, I'm weird

I've had 96 oz of water plus coffee and a sparkling water today. Think I'm going to float away. I also did 19K steps today that's the most I've done all week so I'm very pleased with that. Love, love, love my fitbit.

Dawn, can't wait for you to come hang with us
