One of my favorite work lunches is cottage cheese (3oz) because it is easy to prepare, packs small, and instant. I eat it in the following ways, with:
-fresh salsa spooned and melba toast
-fresh strawberries sliced, cinnamon and stevia
-apple slices and cinnamon
-tabasco and cucumber slices
-cherry tomatoes and tabasco

That's a whole week's worth of lunches right there.

In reality, I alternate those with hard boiled eggs. I go a little rogue and eat two hard boiled eggs instead of 1 whole & 3 egg whites. Just easier.
Basically with a dozen eggs and a 16oz tub of cottage cheese, you've got your week's worth of protein for under $5. That's how I roll during the work week!
I love it! Thanks.

Anybody running into emotional obstacles with losing on HCG? I am wanting to start again cause I've gained back 15 lbs or so. I am afraid to start and I don't know why. It's been a long time since I've done a round. I'd appreciate any input or encouragement. You ladies are all doing wonderful!

That sounds really good! I'm going to make a note of it in case I decide to get a little rogue. For now I'm doing strict protocol but we'll see! Thanks for sharing!

Yay for Uncharted Territory! Such a great feeling to see numbers we haven't seen before!

Awww I'm sorry to hear that. I think that's the most discouraging thing in P2 is when you get on the scale looking for a loss only to see a gain. The good news is that it will probably be down tomorrow so hang in there!

Nice!!! I am hoping this will be a successful round for me!

I'm down about 2lbs this morning but still not into true loss territory yet. I weigh the same this morning as I did on Loading Day 2. (I lost 2 lbs after loading day one which was weird)

I'm really looking forward to getting back into the 150s. I ended my last round at 154.6. This morning I"m 163.2. I definitely think it's doable to get to that number or even surpass it. If i can end this round somewhere around 150 I'll be THRILLED!

I went to the dentist today b/c I've been having terrible pain after some fillings and they are doing more work tomorrow. I just took a Percocet b/c it hurts so bad, I hope it doesn't mess up my losses and stall me but It hurts and iburprofen wasn't quite cutting it.

I'm really hoping I don't end up needing a root canal b/c that's going to suck!

So far today I've had Mustard and Curry Chicken and half a grapefruit. Thinking of making spinach chips as an afternoon snack in a little bit but I am afraid to use the over with my Little one around b/c he likes to mess with the oven no matter how often I tell him not to!

Yes I think it is normal. This is my third round. You just have to take the jump and do it, then you will remember how wonderful it is to lose weight so fast. There is preparation involved at least when I do this. I have to prepare my mind first, then I go shopping an prepare my meals for the week. It was really hard to start this round as I was maintaining and loving my bacon and my coke zero.

Third day of shots. Finished loading yesterday - bleh, I became weary of food yesterday and my stomach hurt from all the bad things I put there. So excited to be back on the wagon today and I feel great. Just had my first apple and I'm stuffed. I think this is going to be a fantastic round!

Sure! Its because while you know this is such a great way to lose when you have your dosage right, the bottom line is that it is tough mentally.

AFM, I am down 0.6 today. This is a weird round for me with my week 2 stall and all. Hoping for some good losses as I head into my 3rd week. I am already looking forward to P3!!

From pre load weight I'm down 14.2 pounds in 18 days, still pretty good looking at the overall picture. I'm also into virgin weight territory for me! As an adult I've never seen 214.6 on the scale!
That is wonderful. Keep it up and you will see more unchartered territory! You're losing .78 per day - that's awesome!

P3, I want it so bad! When I went back to my old posts, I noticed I was craving avocado back then as well. So interesting, that seems to be something my body really wants!

Hi all,

I am new to the diet and new to these forums. I am a homeschooling mother of 7, from 18 months to 18 years old. I am currently on VLCD 6 and I was down 7 pounds from my pre-loading weight this morning.

I have really enjoyed reading your experiences. It has been very encouraging, especially a couple of days ago when I was really hungry. Yesterday, it seemed to just go away. Today I am feeling really satisfied with my meals.

Looking forward to sharing the next 5 weeks with you on Phase 2

I feel like I'd be crazy NOT to do it with all of these kids. Bonus of the diet so far has been that the really severe headaches I have been having since a car accident about 5 months ago are finally improving. I am sure that this diet is helping reduce inflammation which in turn is helping to reduce the headaches. So happy! I had about 5 months of almost constant headaches, and now there are significant parts of my day without pain. Plus it is really nice for my tight pants to be loose

It wants more FAT, it's tired of working so hard to extract it. I dreamed I ate a whole loaf of bread a couple of weeks ago. Luckily it was just a dream.

Reddy,
Hope you are feeling better and not in so much pain. You have to do what you have to do to get out of the pain, so there is not much you can control there.

I drank about 100 oz or so. I am so thirsty I don't really have to worry about getting enough water. But I am always in the bathroom!
