What do you all do for lunch at work?
One of my favorite work lunches is cottage cheese (3oz) because it is easy to prepare, packs small, and instant. I eat it in the following ways, with: -fresh salsa spooned and melba toast -fresh strawberries sliced, cinnamon and stevia -apple slices and cinnamon -tabasco and cucumber slices -cherry tomatoes and tabasco That's a whole week's worth of lunches right there. In reality, I alternate those with hard boiled eggs. I go a little rogue and eat two hard boiled eggs instead of 1 whole & 3 egg whites. Just easier. Basically with a dozen eggs and a 16oz tub of cottage cheese, you've got your week's worth of protein for under $5. That's how I roll during the work week! |

Oh yeah... 8-10 cans per day habit. I read up on aspartame and the things it does to you and I had a couple of the symptoms... knee pain and vertigo. It is worth it to me to at least try to live without it. I weaned off of it over a week so honestly it was an easy transition. I could easily drink one right now, but I won't.

For lunch, I usually make a double dinner portion so I can bring leftovers. This week, I also made some mini meatloaves to crumble up on salads or eat with another veggie.

I do that too, booty... I call it "Cook once, eat twice" and goes for both 2nd dinners and/or lunches.
I sometimes poach chicken breast that I've cut into 100 g portions ahead of time.... freeze the cooked portions and then quickly saute them in the morning with some spices to take along to the office, with salad or whatever. I'm not that fond of salad without some oil in the dressing, though... or even commercial dressings for that matter. I'm an olive oil and vinegar kinda gal normally Last edited by Jeanyyy; 02-05-2013 at 01:29 PM.. |

Woohoo! Peggy's here! So happy to see up
Had a great day! stayed busy, got my 12,500 steps in and working on more while I watch some tv and play here. My mushrooms turned out incredibly delicious. Just used my little chopper to mix up my ingredients fine added some mustard and some seasoning and wow! these are a keeper if the scale doesn't mind ![]() |

Hi everyone, hope it is ok to jump in this thread?
I am on a third round...day 3 of vlc using Intermountain pellets. My first round I did really well losing about 24 pounds. I creeped up during the break between rounds then failed at round 2 and never completed a proper P3/P4. Ober the past year following, I gained all of the weight back plus 5 and am at my highest weight ever. Lessons learned. So far this round I have lost 4.5 pounds and looking forward to more. I am hungry and weak but hoping that goes away in a couple days. Been staying strict. This is very mentally challenging for me but the cleanse and loss are worth it. I need to make it at least 21 days and do a proper P3. Thanks for listening. My favorite meal has been chicken cabbage soup. Servings each of chicken and cabbage cooked in 2 cups of water. A splash of apple cider vinegar and whatever spices I am feeling that day. Today was cumin, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic & cilantro. Weird but tasty! |

I'm down 0.8 today after my 4 day lull! TOM issues have not really passed yet. I'm hoping the water retention part is gone for now.

down another 0.4 today...seems to be the ways its going to go until the end of my short round. If I can i may see if i can stay on a few extra days, as it is I'm beginning to dream about food....and not extra portions of protein either. From pre load weight I'm down 14.2 pounds in 18 days, still pretty good looking at the overall picture. I'm also into virgin weight territory for me! As an adult I've never seen 214.6 on the scale!

For the purpose of comparison, I went back to look at my stats from a few years back when I did hcg the first time. On VLCD20, I was only at 11.5lbs lost. This is VLCD17 of this round and I'm at 16.2lbs lost. That made me happy. This round has been excellent, even with a 4 day stall.

Congrats booty. I'm VLCD day 17 and only netted a 7 lb loss. Still it's okay, a little less than .5 a day.

Thanks guys, this has been a pretty strict round for me. I have stayed away from the coconut oil and sugar free gum. I've had the occasional Zevia, but that doesn't seem to stall me.

Hmm, I had sugar-free gum twice yesterday. That might be the culprit. It's Trident, so not sweetened with Stevia

I don't know if it ever made me stall, but it did make me crave other sweet things...which lead to eating coco crack.
