I had three days of hunger this week, but yesterday and today are much better. I wonder if this is a pattern after you've been on it a while. We've been on it almost the same amount of time. I get my shots each week and don't have a bunch pre-mixed. My clinic says you can be on it up to 12 weeks.

I think it has to do with the mix, more than anything. My research shows that people recommend a fresh batch after the first 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure I'm still on the same batch.

Another thing I may attribute to the hunger is that for a few days early this week, I took a multi-vitamin. I didn't have them at home the last two days and my hunger subsided. Hummm, I'm eliminating the vitamin for now.

Of course, with the way my weeks go, it might take a while to release another 3 lbs.. I'm HOPING to do it in a week and a half. I am midway through week 8 right now (Wed is week "end")... If I get there before the end of week 9, I am SO starting Elimination... I'm more than ready to move on.

I couldn't make it to lunch on just an apple. I had to have some snacks. Sheesh, I can't even make it through the first day.

Hopefully I'll get better as time goes on and I get used to this new regimen. I think the problem is having no protein until lunch.

True. But it was only around 10:45 so I dug into some leftover snacks from my previous load days -- they weren't allowed. Alas.

I ate my "approved" lunch at 12:45 -- chicken breast and cucumber slices -- and I'm feeling hungry again already after only a little over an hour later. I really hope this stabilizes.

Back from the doctor! A little back story. This particular clinic has 2 naturopaths on staff. One of them is the HCG expert and the other one fills in on Saturdays for people who can't come during the week. The primary ND is very knowledgeable about the protocol, but I can't come in during the week so I usually see the secondary ND. She's a lovely person, but I often find myself questioning her knowledge of the protocol. She's made recommendations to me that I know are not on protocol...like a steak day in P2.

So, today I told her I'm really feeling that my hcg is no longer suppressing my hunger. She didn't really have an answer for me other than that my dosage might be off. I told her that I think I should just stop now rather than try monkeying around with dosage for 4 days (when my last shot is scheduled). She wanted me to keep going, but I said I can't find a compelling argument. In the end, she filled my needles for the week and told me that it's up to me.

So I'm meditating on things, but I still can't imagine tolerating these physical symptoms for more than the weekend. If I was feeling like this at work, I would not be able to make it through the day.

I haven't taken a shot yet today.

Tmb, sounds like you've made the best decision for you. This will help get you ready for your bf's bday too, right? a few extra days to get in the swing of things. I'll be joining you shortly over on P3. Wishing you a smooth 3 days. Today is day one so at least it's almost over, right

Hi ladies, I've been away from these message boards for who knows how long. The holiday eating just never stopped for me. In October I began a project at work that I got EXTREMELY stressed out about and I let myself eat and eat and eat and now I'm 185. I am so scared cause that is way way over from my highest weight in the past two years. So I'm back. Today is Day 1 of Loading. It was a holiday and there were lots of goodies around. I only partook of some, but I'm concentrating on high fat rather than High Carb. I hope to get acquainted with everyone and that you don't mind my jumping right in here. I had some frozen HCG injections and I thawed one and tested it and it came out positive so I proceeded to use it on my 1st load day. Hope I'm right. I've been away from this so long that none of my clothes fit and I forgot how to mix my injections!

2/23/13 Load Day 1 - 185

I was trying to explain that to the doctor and I think she thought I was talking about eating cake or something.

booty, P3 is so wonderful. If I were you I would just end this round. It's not really early, you got more than the required days in. Besides, when you start back in May, you will start getting big losses again right away.

Okay, I use their pellets. All I can suggest is that you make sure you are drinking LOTS of fluids, preferably water or herbal teas, to get past the hunger. Also, when you have lettuce, you get a LOT.. Helps to fill you up. I space out my food and coffee throughout the day. For instance, coffee and 16 oz of lemon water after I get up, apple mid-morning, lunch, Wasa + a spoonful of "strawberry jam" at mid afternoon, dinner, 2nd fruit later at night and a Grissini breadstick before bed. I'll post the recipe for the strawberry jam. I use maybe 1 spoonful and either don't count it at all or I have 1 less strawberry when I have a serving of those.

Sexy Stevia Strawberry Jam

Wash strawberries well & cut off stem, then cut up into small size pieces & put in non-stick frying pan with a little water lining the bottom. I used a whole pint sized container & added 1&1/2 -2 packets of Stevia to sweeten (again use more or less to your like "preference").

Cook for 3-4 min's until the strawberries become more liquid BUT you can still see small soft pieces of strawberry.

Simply refrigerate for 3 hours.

Use to top off a plain melba toast or WASA cracker for a delicious snack or dessert. If you let the strawberry-covered Wasa sit for a little while, the cracker softens somewhat.

Jeannyyy, there is a vendor at the Winter Farmer's Market at Nat Bailey that sells stevia sweetened jams. I have yet to try it, but next time I'm there I might pick up a jar.

I can't believe I've made it 13 days so far. :P I was 194.6 the day before I started loading, so, the weight loss is rather pathetic, in my opinion. I'm sticking it out the 21 days on principle, but I sure won't do another round, when I know I lose weight as fast or faster, on a normal low carb and healthy eating plan. Bah!

Think of me next time - I'll still be sleeping... haha.. That's one reason why I haven't made it to the Low Carb Grocery in Burnaby yet. They aren't open Sundays and Saturdays are usually my REALLY lazy days.

I get up early, but getting my boyfriend out of bed before 11:00 on the weekend is nearly impossible.

Ok Ladies, let's all keep positive LOSER thoughts tonight and wake up to a lovely scale I've worked really hard today. I want these last few pounds gone NOW. 26K steps, 140 oz of water and clean eating. Please let the scale be nice
