Take measurements! You will be amazed how quickly the inches go. Often in a matter of days. The great thing is that the reshaping continues into P3. |

Bathroom experience!
I read this yesterday while drinking my morning coffee, laughed aloud, and nearly snorted coffee out of my nose! I told my husband about it and now he refers to his...ahem...long term bathroom visits as a bathroom experience.
Thanks! LOL! |

![]() So I am UP at 156 again this morning which makes me now 7 days of teetering between 155 and 156 and I'm SO over it. This has never happened in previous rounds to me. I've certainly experienced the last week slow down or stall but never the gaining and losing of a few oz for days. I definitely did not drink enough water yesterday and I'm still waiting on stupid TOM to show up (It's now 3 days late) but this is just frustrating to say the least. So that means that yesterday was my last dose and my LIW is 155.2. I am actually really nervous about Maintenance this time since I really really really want to stabilize at or around where i am right now and I usually come in a few lbs over. I am also nervous about how long I need/ want to maintain it. I really need this weight loss to stick until my next pregnancy b/c I do NOT have any plans to do another round. I will be starting P3 on Saturday instead of Monday since I"m calling this round early but I'm ready for some eggs and bacon for breakfast Sat morning along with some cream in my coffee! I'll still post here for a few more days and will try and check in on you all until you come join us over in P3! |

Morning Ladies! I think the scale gods were happy with my decision to do coffee instead of a meal with my new interest. I'm down 1.2!! amazing. Today is vlcd19 and at this point I plan to stay on p2 until sometime next week. I am at 13.2 lost and want to get to 15 lbs minimum and of course, now that I'm this for why not 20?
We shall see. In all honest, living alone and doing this plan is very easy compared to you all with families around you that continue to eat other foods. I have my gd tomorrow night and I've already informed my daughter she'll be picking up Jimmy John's on her way here so that I do not bring anything into the house that is off plan to accomodate my gd. I am that serious about this plan. My gd will love the strawberry sorbet and making it (she loves to cook and do things in the kitchen and she usually spends time with me there when she visits. So far at five she can make homemade pasta, pitas, tortillas, etc.) and then we'll do some crafts instead of culinary arts. Saturday morning she'll make bacon and eggs and I'll just have coffee while she dines. I don't think this makes me a bad Grandma but I'm sure there are those that might think that. So what Anyway, today my dd and I are going shopping so it's gonna be geez, is this my first dining out experience? it must be. Weird. lol. So, Jimmy John's it is for lunch and I'll get an unwhich with extra veggies (shoot me for my rogueness! lol) and I have a nice filet mignon ready for the bbq tonight with spinach and berries. Plenty of wate (bringing my big water bottle with me today because I tend to not get enough water when I'm out shopping) vitamins and a minimum of 15K fitbit steps. |

I want an old FitBit...
Wow! Your stats are awesome! I hope I do as well with my round.
A friend of mine has a FitBit but the model she has is out of production now. I had to Pre-Order the new FitBit bracelet. It's in pre-production right now. I hope I like it. Do you like yours? Do you sync it with your computer? |

Love my fitbit, didn't know they have a bracelet now. Mine just attaches to my clothing. It syncs automatically to my computer and it also syncs with my online tracker for food. I do not wear the wristband when I sleep though. I don't really get what the point is? but I do know others on their forums like it? I have the Aria too and I find it to be a great product as well.

Up 0.5 today and was up 0.4 yesterday, both early days for me... I'm a bit stopped up, too - so that may be part of it. *sigh* Just when I decided to do 2 more weeks to try and get under 180 haha.. Hopefully tomorrow will be better when I get to sleep in a little later. I am taking magnesium citrate to make me more or less "regular" but may need to help that along with some Smooth Move tea tonight, we'll see.

Wow! Everyone is an incentive to me to get that final 20 pounds off, my blood pressure back to normal (even 20 pounds makes a difference for my PB). My downfall isn't phase 3 it is 4. I am determined to not touch nuts, flax, chia, nut flours, any type of baked goods, limited dairy, for at least 5 weeks into P4. One step at a time. As we learn what our bodies tolerate.

OK, up .2 today. This is the 4th day of my TOM stall.
My question is : after your TOM in phase 2, do you "catch up" to your average weight lost after TOM with a big whoosh, or do you really have 0 loss for the length of your cycle and then resume? I am going to be slamming some water today. That's for sure |

Finally, I have a loss worth reporting. Down 1.6lbs!!!!! There is hope for me to hit 25lbs down this round. I checked a zillion times to make sure it wasn't my dumb scale.
BRB to catch up on how everyone else is doing! |

P2 - trying something out
Forgive me if this is a strict protocol thread. I tried a shot of wheatgrass yesterday in place of my dinner veggies and I wanted to post about it because I've been searching for info about it for a long time and can never find anyone who's actually tried it. Last round I wanted to do it but I was afraid, some people said no it's not allowed (and it's for sure not protocol) but some people said yes but nobody actually had any experiences with it. After reading a lot about wheatgrass I decided to go for it, I'm still down this AM so it didn't do anything crazy...unless something bad takes a day or two to register. That hasn't been my experience though, negative results usually show up right away. I think I'll be trying another shot today in place of either my lunch or dinner veggies. I don't want to rely on this but sometimes I just can't get all the veggies in I'm required to whether it be laziness or just yuckiness lol
Here is just a bit of the info I found on the wheatgrass that made me decide to go ahead with it, some info is from a site for HCG that actually sells wheatgrass capsules to go along with the HCG, and of course there's a few tidbits from wikipedia. "Wheatgrass contains no wheat gluten." I've also attached (tried to anyway) a table from wikip. showing the comparisons of wheatgrass to broc. & spinach. If it doesn't attach you should check it out on wikip. if you're interested. "Wheat grass contains a balance of nutrients: 25% Protein, 8 Enzymes, 13 Vitamins, Beta-Carotene, 20% Fiber, 16 Amino Acids, 13 Trace Minerals, Richest source of Vitamin K. This green super food is the perfect balanced food for daily nutritional support taken as a dietary supplement. Wheat grass contains a balance of nutrients for every cell and organ of the body. Fifteen pounds of wheat grass has an equivalent nutritional value of 350 pounds of the choicest vegetables! Dr. Ann Wigmore, of the Hippocrates Institute and a leading figure in wheat grass research, states that wheat grass is highly nutritious. Wheat grass, the tender grass of wheat grown from the wheat kernel before it matures to stock and grain, is a complete food, provides protein, calcium, live enzymes, vitamins and minerals to rebuild and rejuvenate the cells." "Two ounces of this wonderful juice is the nutritional equivalent of two 1/2 kilos of greens? Yes! 2 1/2 Lbs!" |

It can be a bit gritty too depending on how well you shake it, I just use a regular smoothie shaker with a little ball mixer inside and it's not too bad but that's why I chug it, I have to tell myself while it's going down that it's just grass, just grass, just grass lol Mind over Matter |
