Skepticalme i think your post is great. I think the purpose of a forum like this is to talk with other people in the same situation as you, so you know your not alone. It was written as if it was a lesson you learned which is great always great to share.
![]() TMB i was thinking the same thing like 4 rounds, she looks like she weights 100lbs now, lol! I have the same problem when I lose wieght my head gets all thin first, so if you saw me in a car I look all skinny, then when i get out u see the larger T/A following me. I love them though, just would like them to be a little smaller!!! Kaylem, i should have meassured myself on day 1, but I was feeling a little lazy. So i have no idea how many inches I have really lost. But I can go try on a pair of pants and get the same, OMG they fit better, or their getting bigger, which is a great feeling! ![]() MagieDen, isnt it great. I also gained about 3lbs loading and lost by day 2. HCG is an amazing process. Jeannyy, I can feel you. I lost 7lbs first week. 6lbs second week. 3rd week lost 4lbs. This is begining of 4th week starting Sun, I see losing only 1lb this week, since this is my 2nd day going down .2lbs. I also am doing a long round. I know if your doing the Rxhcg there is some restriction. But my understanding of the HHCG is that you cannot become immune to it, so you can do longer than 40 days if you an handle it. My last will be March 9 which will be like day 42. But that truly depends on my number as well. Since I was hoping to be less than 270. Which aint gonna happen with .2lb a day. But truly how can I really complain. I am going down. So I will take it in stride and wait to see what my finally number is and try to stop guessing Reddy, you hang in there. I think we all can relate to where you wanna be and were you actually end up. Frankly I thought about doing another week and end on the 16 of march if it would get me another 5lbs down. But no way to tell for sure. I just don't know if I can get my head around another round once I go thru P3/4. I took me a year to get my head around doing this round. So i am on the fence. But if your only 2lbs from your goal, I dont think I would worry so much about that. my goal is 225, and if I was 230 I would be jumping for joy.

Heck yes, girl! I agree--scales are STUPID! They are also fickle, and are liars. Hmmmm they sound remarkably like a few former boyfriends I would like to forget...![]() Hang in there girl-- I KNOW this can work for you. Keep measuring, and stay focused.

Evening, folks!
I have spent a good bit of time catching up on posts, so I figured I'd better give a quick update before I get down to business helping my girls with homework! I stayed the same today--169--but like I've said before, if the scale don't move, I bring out my trusty measuring tape and voila! I have, in fact, shrunk! So, I'm all good. Something else I love about this diet: feeling smaller in the afternoon/evening than I did in the morning versus the norm of feeling bloated and heavy by the afternoon. Can I get an "amen?!" ![]() So, I have to share a funny--if a bit neurotic--story. I have ordered more pellets and received shipping confirmation yesterday. They typically arrive pretty quickly from Intermountain, so I expect to receive them tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. Unfortunately, I used my last pellet dose tonight, and will have to use some drops that I purchased last summer to tide me over. I am worried about their potency, of course, especially since I had such a crummy round last time when I used them. BUT, I have no other option, so I will deal with it and hope that my pellets arrive tomorrow afternoon and that I only have to use the drops for two doses. ANYWAY, time for the funny part: So as I was doling out my last pellet dose tonight, my hand bumped into something, and the pellets went flying. My last three. It was like a movie in slow motion....I heard them hit my floor and there I was, on my hands and knees, searching for the three tiny white balls on my kitchen floor! ![]() ![]() I was immediately thankful for two things: First, I have dark wood floors. Second, I had just mopped the floor yesterday! Ha!So I found those three pellets and popped them under my tongue, yessiree! Nothing is standiing in my way this round! Surely that will earn me some losses tomorrow morning, right? Hee! Hee! Just thought you guys would find the story funny! Good night! -Kay |

Down on the wonky scale this morning, it is being my friend. Down 1. 4 lbs. making my release of 5.8 lbs in the last 2 days. 3 lbs are load pounds and 2.8 lbs. is virgin lbs.(well vrigin lbs. this round
) I am happy about that! Kaylem - Your story about the pellets falling to the floor is why I haven't tried them yet, to afraid I would spill them all over the place and lose the "precious." I am glad that you were able to retrive them and I do hope you have a good release. I will give you an "Amen" to loving the fact of feeling smaller, the inches lost on the protocol is nothing to scoff at I like feeling better in my clothes so when that scale doesn't reward my efforts I know the tape measure will show other wise.Keep up the good work ladies and congratulations to all you losers, maintainers well done and to those who are struggling hang in there we can do this! |

Morning Ladies! Sorry I didn't check in yesterday. It was an amazingly gorgeous day outside and I made the most of it. I worked in my yard weeding. Lol, in a normal sized yard that probably wouldn't be considered much of an accomplishment but my yard is 2.5 acres
so I was at it for hours and hours. Felt good to be outside in brisk weather with sunshine and I got in 28K steps yesterday with my friendly fitbit. Anyway, I forgot to weigh yesterday but did this morning, so down another .7 for a total of 12 pounds this round ![]() |

The scale has stopped moving...ugh, I agree with everyone here. Scales are stupid. On the upside, I'm wearing a shirt that is loose on me and it was tight just a few months ago. Woot! Take that, you stupid scale! BAAM!

The scale thing is so true! lol. I have my old scale and my current scale. If I was using my old scale I would think I was 3 lbs less than I really am and would be singing to the heavens today
Instead, I'm like...well 3 more pounds..lmao! |

Sorta applies to clothing sizes too. Put a low number on it and it fits and voila, doesn't it look fabulous??? lol. Um, not always.

Haven't read the responses yet but I"ll go back and do so after I post.
So I'm now at a 5/6 day stall. Trying to decide if I should bother with an apple day (usually yields me 1.5lbs down or so) or to call my round. If I do an apple day then that means I can't make today or tomorrow my LIW because I don't think it's advised to end the round with an apple day. I think today will be my Last shot (ending a few days early) unless I wake up to a decent loss in the morning then maybe I'll push on. And if it continues to go down, I may be motivated to push even further b/c I have enough left to keep going for a week or so. My period was due yesterday and It didn't come which is weird b/c it always comes on the 19th. HCG can mess with cycles though so who knows. I'm just feeling a little defeated. At the end of the day I'm pretty close to my goal so I am not unhappy with my numbers. I just wanted to end a little lower to give me some "wiggle room" in P3 since I usually stabilize about 2lbs over LIW. |

Reddy--sorry no one really answered you about your question. You know me, I say "you have to do what you feel comfortable doing". I cannot make a decision for you. I think your plan is a good one. An apple day is NO good if you are at the end of a round as the potential for rebound is great, not necessarily a given as I have not had that happen yet, but it can and at the tail end of a round.....don't want to chance it! So going day to day is best. I am sure that TOM is just fooling you and you know that hcg can make it go wonky. I have heard of not ending a round on TOM either. So you are between a rock and a hard place, eh?? You have done well though. And I am sure you are ready for eating again!!! Congrats to you!

It really is a rock and a hard place situation. If I wake up at 155 again (or if it goes UP again - because I've basically been fluctuating between 155 and 156 for 6 days) Then I'm done. No point in going on for days with no results. BUT if I wake up at 154 or something I'll keep going until at LEAST Friday since that's supposed to be my last injection day. I do have a bday celebration on Sat night that I'd like to attend and if today is my last day then I'd be in P3 Saturday and maybe could have a glass of wine or two that night as well as eat normally, but I'm not going to decide based on that. At the end of the day, numbers are numbers. It seems that my inches lost weren't as amazing as I'd expected (only one inch from my tummy, one from my arms, and then 3 in my thighs and I didn't measure my bust but I'm fairly certain I lost at least 2 inches there) But I lost 11lbs and I'm close to my goal. The most important thing of all to me is maintaining b/c I don't have any plans to do another round until after I have my next baby and I am done nursing. So I just want to be able to be around 155 when I get pregnant again (This summer probably) because that will put me 20lbs ahead of where I was at last time and will make things easier afterwards (I hope) I just have to work harder when I hit P4... I guess I will have to take this day by day and come to terms with whatever that darn scale says. Last edited by Reddy; 02-20-2013 at 10:08 AM.. |
