Nice to "see" you back around these parts Kay!! I am just starting my VLCD#1 today. Cannot wait to see the losses too. I think we can support each other through the highs and the lows of this round, if you stick with us. Stick with posting and we can do this Remember that sometimes we get stuck and have to plow through it. Your week 2 may be crappy this round as it was last round but that is OK because we have week #3!!! Good things are gonna come Just keep on keeping on!!!

PS I am saying this as much to you as I am to myself. Have to give myself pep talks throughout P2 just to make it one more day.

That is romantic Won't even tell you what DH came home with yesterday, except to say it was perfect for loading and I am glad I have kids to pawn it off to today. Just have to remind myself to stay out of it when they are all at school

Today is VLCD 15 and I am down another .6 pounds to 190.2. My total lost this round is now 14 pounds! Each morning when I wake up I just know that the scale can't possibly be lower and it is! This is a truly amazing diet.

Good morning everyone. It's the end of another week for me. I lost 0.4lbs this morning.14 days left until P3. My losses this round look like this...

Week 1 - 6.8
Week 2 - 7.6
Week 3 - 2.2
Week 4 - 2.2

Total so far 18.8lbs in 26 days. I'm happy with that. I would be thrilled to hit 25lbs down by the end of this round. I was hoping for 30 in 40 days, but the way things have slowed it's unlikely. Still, this round has been my best by far.

Ugh, lost a huge post! Suffice it to say, I'm cheering (too much pretty food around for Vday) but I haven't gone wild aside from a few offplan veggies/pork, so not worried at my house. I'm sort of tired of being alone and want to go out but seriously, it's only a few weeks before p3 and I can easily go out with that plan. Plus, the amount of money I'm saving being home is I did pick up a few odds and ends at Target yesterday to refresh my wardrobe on the cheap (well, some of their stuff isn't that cheap actually!) so I sorta want to go out just to wear it Thinking maybe I'll just go up to my fancy market and have a cup of coffee, play on my netbook and people watch for entertainment today Can get some walking in the little shopping complex too if I wear my comfie new ballet flats

Here's todays plan:
12,500 steps. I've walked a ton this week and am pretty sure its helping the scale and if it isn't, it's helping my attitude so kinda taking it easier today and will have an up day on the steps tomorrow. This is subject to change if I turn on some music and start parusing around my house. I'm having grilled chicken, grilled romaine with cider, lemon and garlic, grilled apple in foil(testing this out), grilled steak, grilled asparagus, strawberries, 96 oz of water, vitamins and early to bed. The melatonin worked really well last night. I hadn't tried it in a long time and it seemed to help. I'll try it again tonight and see if I get a repeat performance

Wishing everyone a great day! Gonna miss our p3 people. Please stop by and check in! I can't read the p3 thread or I'm afraid I'll be tempted to cheat. Darn good thing my house is clear of all yumminess on terms of fat.

Afternoon everyone!

After yesterdays slip up, I was really nervous to step on the scale. I figured I would see the same or possibly even a little gain but NO, I'm down 1.2!!! I don't know why but I'll take it.

How sick is it that my first thought was, hmmm maybe I should have a WHOLE muffin today But I know better. Hopefully it won't be one of those things where it shows up tomorrow.

Staying on plan today and ignoring those muffins on the counter. My little one better eat them up and fast!

I'm now at 156 which puts me at 9.4 total lost (12.4 with load weight) Not bad for VLCD 12.

I am thinking that will be my big Lent thing--giving up chocolate. Was thinking of unfair it was that Lent started today--should have started tomorrow. Anyway, I am not Catholic so it doesn't matter to me if I start today or tomorrow. I will be detoxing off lots of not-so-good things soon enough LOL.
Excited for you to join us in P2!!! You will do great. You know what you need to do. You've got this!

Two things you must do when you fall off the wagon.
1. Fix the Wagon
2. Become a better rider

One of the things I also do now when I'm baking is to wear the food prep gloves which remind me not to lick my fingers or to taste and also keep any oils, butter, crisco, etc. from my skin when I'm doing HCG. It helps me stay on track.

I agree, you can't beat yourself up and you'll do better tomorrow.
Excellent words of wisdom and ones I should write down and pin on my wall at my desk!

Oh man. That would be my biggest downfall! I don't know how people work in places like that and aren't enormous! My two best friends worked at the local chocolatier in town when we were in high school and they said that anytime something fell on the floor they could eat it and they were dropping things ALL OF THE TIME

Nothing too exciting to report--there was a bit more hunger today, but not too bad over all. I stayed on plan all day, of which I am proud. Although I do realize that it will get harder later when things slow down. Woke up this morning to 173.5, which is a 3 pound loss--.5 away from my pre-load weight, which I think is pretty good, all things considered!

This weekend will be significant. On my last round--which failed miserably--I lost five pounds during the first week and then came to a dead stop. I am hoping against hope that this is not the case THIS round. As mentioned earlier, I am only using pellets this time, and I am finishing up a bottle from last summer. Thankfully, Intermountain has pellets again today (after being out for a few days), and I just placed my order. I should be set for this round.

I am looking forward to waking up tomorrow below my pre-load weight! (I am hoping, at least...)

I hope everyone is doing great, and I am going to check out everyone's posts to see how today went right now!

Not sure if its because I've switched to pellets since my drops were all gone or if maybe they aren't any good even though i just got them. I've even dreamt about food and the funniest part is none of it is even stuff i would normally eat. What i really want is a salad with everything....bacon bits, sunflower seeds, green and red peppers, tomatoes...and ranch dressing!!!

Today was day 27 and i've lost 18.4 pounds, pretty pleased with that, now to maintain it and that i'm scared of!
YOu did awesome! That salad sounds amazing and I want one too please! You will do great at maintenance.

Hate when I lose a long post I typed up! Grrr. Sounds like you have a great plan for today...

I just had a burger for lunch. I'm going to make some asparagus soup now I think. Need to go to the grocery and get some more food for tonight and the next few days. TOM is going to be here any day now so I'm not looking forward to the stalls that are going to come with it.

My losses so far:

Week 1 - 6.4
Week 2 - 3.8

This does not factor in my loading weight. If it did it would be an addition 4lbs in the first week!

I'm having a bit of a struggle today. Not hungry, but quite tired. I'm not sure if it's TOM related or otherwise.

Yippee! Down to 171 this morning--so I am below where I was pre-load, but I'm still not under the weight that I was able to get to with just low carb. The weight I got "stuck" at during my failed round was 169, so that's going to be my next "magic" number to jump. Today went pretty well--not too much hunger or weakness, which is a good sign, if you ask me. Any hunger I've experienced has been in the evenings. I think I am just too busy during the day to notice hunger! (Although that isn't true when I am NOT taking hcg and I am eating poorly, Ha!)

In the past two days, I have passed over warm bread from the Outback, candies and chocolates from Valentine's Day, and a wonderful petit Syrah red wine that my husband is enjoying right now. Amazingly, I haven't really craved anything, and have been able to pass those things over. For me, the best thing about hcg is the craving control. It is really effective in that regard for me.

Here is to hoping that the rest of the weekend progresses as well, and I am now off to see how everyone else is doing today! Cheers!

-Kay

Finally just got my Intermountain drops today. Yay! I'm so happy to finally have a REAL product. I am fighting my previous fake HCG purchase with my bank right now. I have a temporary credit and I'm waiting for them to make it permanent.

I have all day conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I was thinking I will either make those my load days or do my load days starting Thursday. It will be too difficult to start before then because I wouldn't be able to bring my own food (no refrigerators or microwaves will be available). It might be easiest to have my load days start on Thursday and then have fresh groceries starting on Saturday.

Oh I would load starting Thursday... It would be really hard to load properly when you are in all day conferences, I think.

Avy, what type of hcg or hhcg are you using? I wonder if it is 'real' since you haven't seen much in terms of results? anything we can do to help? have any or anything?

I'm down another .9 today! Having a great 2nd week of my round for sure I ended up shopping like a crazy woman yesterday so was gone all day Turns out it doesn't work in my house I spent 4 hours in Zgallerie and came home with all new bedding, artwork, pillows, accessories and duh, doesn't look right at all in my bedroom. So, off I go to return it today. Hate going on a Saturday but hate having it on my checking account more Here's today's exciting menu: chicken breast grilled with grilled romaine and apples, shrimp, cabbage stirfry with acv, ginger, garlic and lime with lemon sorbet topped with a pureed strawberry sauce Having a faux margarita tonight too since it is Saturday! I use the Cascade waters in margarita flavor and bling it up in a salted glass

Super simple. Take a bunch of romaine and cut the bottom of it (what's that called? the head? dunno) then toss them in a bowl with some lemon juice, garlic, seasalt, whatever you like and then simply place them on the grill, let them char a little and flip. The end and omg, delicious. I serve this to guests and they rave about it. For the apples I just sliced it thin, tossed it with cinnamon and stevia and placed them in a foil packet. Grilled with my protein and basically, they steam while you're grilling. I'll spare you the ingredients of the 'real' recipe as it involves so much yumminess it'll drive me batty just to even type the letters.

It's real... I'm using Miracle Skinny Drops, I'm part of a Facebook group that has tons of members with tons of results, it's still annoying lol. I'm following the original protocol to a tee, 500 cal a day, no melba or grissini because I'm wheat free, lots of water, drinking tons of tea and lemon water in the morning, ACV in my water during the day, no off protocol fruits or vegs or meats. Not using any oils or fats at all, not even CO. Maybe it's because I was very low carb for a long time before, and I'm not seeing the superficial weight loss that so many people experience with it, the water retention, etc? Who knows, the scale is still going down and I'll stick to the 21 day commitment. I appreciate the offer for help though.

Down another .6 this morning!

This has definitely been my best round yet. Usually by now I'd have stalled but I keep getting losses. And I am actually eating more than 500 calories (upping my protein!)

I am down to 155.4. Don't know that I'll reach my goal of 150 by the end but with one week left it is possible. I'd be happy with another 2-3lbs though!!!

Last time I weighed 155 was my wedding in Jan 2010. This time last year I weighed about 185 or 190 and I was miserable. It's amazing the difference a year makes! Of course I'm planning to get pregnant again by the summer so I'll be gaining it all back.

I don't know Dawn. If I had your job I'd be so tempted by all the smells and delicious food. Maybe you're immune to that now though?

Cheers!

Nice job so far! And passing on that stuff is the biggest challenge and to me is so empowering. My husband had a piece of fresh sourdough baguette or whatever from Panera the other day just sitting there and he wasn't going to eat it and I was drooling and finally said, can you throw that thing out if you're not going to eat it already? ha ha ha.

I would wait to load until Thursday when you can really give it your attention and take the time to prep for VLCD.

I always take the lower number lol! I think you may see slightly slower losses when coming off a low carb diet pre HCG (That was me first round, I had been on INduction style atkins for 3 months) But in the end the pounds and INCHES will come off! Keep it up!

MMM your meal plan sounds so good! And I'm intrigued by the Grilled Romaine!! Must try that. I love Z Gallerie, shame you have to return everything though.

Speaking of Shopping and Temptation, we are going to make a trip to Trader Joes today. I just found out there is one about an hour from here. I have only been to one once about 10 years ago but I always hear about all the amazing stuff they have and I"ve always wanted to go so we're going today. It may be a challenge being that I can't eat anything but I may buy some things for my P3 which is only a week away (Nut butter for example) And we're hoping to find some dehydrated fruit for my son since that's the only way he'll eat fruit these days. Should be fun.

Any must haves from TJ's I should look for?
