This sure makes Vday pretty easy to stay on plan. Not going out. LOL. I actually considered taking my hot self out but decided not to cos I really just need to stick to protocol and don't want to slip up with a wine or something and end up regretting it. I'll be home with music on and missing my late husband He was a fabulous valentine I think that's why the walking is so easy for me this week. I'm missing him and I tend to walk around my house and think and remember things and listen to music that reminds me of him and our time together Now, on the up side, I sure wish the exbf would pick up his crap. I'm considering just boxing it up and putting it in my garage. I mean really. Should I have his crap in my closet and drawers? and in my second vanity. I think not! lol. Perhaps that will be my valentines day activity this evening. Considering keeping his pricey hair products and using his toothbrush to scrub my shower lol..not really. Well maybe not, maybe I will. Depends. Good thing I'm not drinking Anyway, on to the plan for the day. Need to hit Target for a return and the market for a few veggies. I'm up in the air on meals. Probably shrimp with mushrooms, zucchini and onion plus strawberries and steak for dinner, same veggies plus apple. Water water and more water, at least 15k steps today. I've already done 9K, so that'll be a nobrainer.

Wishing you all a lovely Valentines day with your loves

I have come to the conclusion that braggs is a staller. I used it a lot in my last round and did not do well. I've eliminated it this time and I'm doing well so far! Don't be discouraged, drink lots of water and it will come back off!

Good to know! I'll be sure to steer clear of it for the rest of my P2. I'm working too hard to allow something simple to trip me up!

Down 0.8 lbs today after losing only 1 lb the entire previous week.. so strange how this works. 19.7 lbs down as of R2P2D43. I plan to continue through next Wednesday, which will be day 49 and see where I am. I am currently at 187 lbs and would *love* to get under 180 but I doubt that will happen in a week. So I *may* continue on a little longer, assuming I can hack it. lol

Confession. I just cheated. I made this recipe for "toddler muffins" for my son that I've been wanting to make for him and they smelled so good and I wanted to know if they were good and I ate half of one. How bad is this going to affect me do you think? I shouldn't have touched it either because it was delicious and now I'm having a hard time resisting it. I'm stupid.

I've had 96 oz of water plus coffee and a sparkling water today. Think I'm going to float away. I also did 19K steps today that's the most I've done all week so I'm very pleased with that. Love, love, love my fitbit.

I am thinking I may come tomorrow. Room for one more I really need to drop a few quick--I work on Sat and fear I won't fit into my pants And once I get going I NEED to keep going!!! Cannot wait for tomorrow!!

I actually do a lot of baking for the office. I do not taste to see if they are good and I warn people at the office that I don't know how they turned out and to eat at their own risk..LOL I've learned to enjoy the smell of the baked goods and to forego the samples. I know that I can't resist once I taste.

The very reason I am waiting til AFTER today to start my P2. I baked some goodies for them for today and to not taste--knew it would NOT happen. I cannot resist chocolate on a good day, then add in Valentine's, uh so not gonna happen Cannot wait for tomorrow.

I think everyday is a day of loading now LOL. I have to get in my pellets though. They are so tricky to remember to take. Eh. Yes, chocolate is lovely and I will certainly miss it for the next 3 weeks. But I can do this!! I can do this! I can do this!! That will be my mantra for the next 21 days. I am thinking that will be my big Lent thing--giving up chocolate. Was thinking of unfair it was that Lent started today--should have started tomorrow. Anyway, I am not Catholic so it doesn't matter to me if I start today or tomorrow. I will be detoxing off lots of not-so-good things soon enough LOL.

I have several sayings in my HCG food journal and here's one for just such an occasion.

Two things you must do when you fall off the wagon.
1. Fix the Wagon
2. Become a better rider

One of the things I also do now when I'm baking is to wear the food prep gloves which remind me not to lick my fingers or to taste and also keep any oils, butter, crisco, etc. from my skin when I'm doing HCG. It helps me stay on track.

I agree, you can't beat yourself up and you'll do better tomorrow.

They BEG me to let them be the guinea pig. The last bunch of cookies I made, the first two pans came out really flat (before I fixed the not enough flour problem) I took them to work and called them "the mess ups" - they said bring the "mess ups" anytime!

As it is in mine. You would NOT believe what I had to get rid of today so I could stay on plan tomorrow. I got rid of not only Halloween chocolate but some of last year's Easter. I think I literally as the trash people came to get our garbage today. But it is best for me. We still have, trust me--with 4 kids in our house, we still have plenty. I just hope this time around I can resist My cream has run out so that won't be an issue this time around either. So I plan on doing a clean P2

Happy Day, all!

I haven't had a chance to check the boards yet; I will do so as soon as I post this. I wanted to check in about my day 2 experience. Nothing too exciting to report--there was a bit more hunger today, but not too bad over all. I stayed on plan all day, of which I am proud. Although I do realize that it will get harder later when things slow down. Woke up this morning to 173.5, which is a 3 pound loss--.5 away from my pre-load weight, which I think is pretty good, all things considered!

This weekend will be significant. On my last round--which failed miserably--I lost five pounds during the first week and then came to a dead stop. I am hoping against hope that this is not the case THIS round. As mentioned earlier, I am only using pellets this time, and I am finishing up a bottle from last summer. Thankfully, Intermountain has pellets again today (after being out for a few days), and I just placed my order. I should be set for this round.

I am looking forward to waking up tomorrow below my pre-load weight! (I am hoping, at least...)

I hope everyone is doing great, and I am going to check out everyone's posts to see how today went right now!

--Kay

I LOVE when that happens! My silly closet is full of a wide range of sizes...I think that THIS time, I should get rid of the "big" ones and fully commit to the smaller sizes!

That's my mantra, too--seriously. I must keep my head in the game and NOT let myself talk myself out of completing this round with integrity. (Now you know my secret--I talk to myself! Ha!) I thought it was timely beginning P2 with Lent as well... Good luck this round! Happy to see your face.

Best of luck tomorrow!

Hubby and I are both doing the diet now - he gorged Monday and Tuesday, and started the VLCD on Ash Wednesday.

For Valentine's dinner we had steak, and tomatoes and our special treat was strawberry sorbet. How romantic

Well i think today is going to be LDW for me and on sunday i can eat eggs for breakfast again! I did an extra 6 days past where i'd promised myself when I started. Looking forward to doing it again in 6 weeks (or at least I say that now) but right now I'm hungry for some fatty foods. The last 2 days I've been feeling starving most of the evening. Not sure if its because I've switched to pellets since my drops were all gone or if maybe they aren't any good even though i just got them. I've even dreamt about food and the funniest part is none of it is even stuff i would normally eat. What i really want is a salad with everything....bacon bits, sunflower seeds, green and red peppers, tomatoes...and ranch dressing!!!

Today was day 27 and i've lost 18.4 pounds, pretty pleased with that, now to maintain it and that i'm scared of!

I know. I am hoping that with my hormonal specialist, I can make this round stick My next appointment for getting the hormones will be when this round is just about over, so that should not interfere with this round. Just help when I need the stabilization. Which means, I have hopes of not needing another round

Those Vegas gals were a trip weren't they??? I have heard from one of them a while back. One of them started back up but was wondering about the hormone thing. I sent her to C'Marie and have not heard back. I hope they are doing well.
