And if you aren't concerned with using sf syrups, those added with the lemon can really be a nice goodie too

Alright, good news first. I was down 1.2 pounds this morning. The bad news. I am hungry. Just hungry. I could tell my doctor, but I think he will just tell me to drink more water. I definitely want something, and it ain't water.

I could throw a dinner party every day of the week if I had people to attend so my challenge with hhcg is to come up with things that take me awhile to prepare. Somehow that brings more value to them in my head and makes them more normal. I know, I'm weird

I've had 96 oz of water plus coffee and a sparkling water today. Think I'm going to float away. I also did 19K steps today that's the most I've done all week so I'm very pleased with that. Love, love, love my fitbit.

Dawn, can't wait for you to come hang with us
Wow! I am all about really simple recipes and I guess I'm a lazy cook bc I hate the cleanup! Although making the food on p2 is simple I feel like I'm using more appliances than usual. The blender, the foreman grill, the food processer, the cutting boards.. Etc etc- I feel like my counters are always a mess! And I also find myself washing my hands sooo much from the prep work (portioning out food etc) that my hands get sooo dry in p2! . I think it's that I'm cooking all my meals at home too. When not on hCG I eat out for lunch most days and go out for dinners so I'm not used to spending this much time in the kitchen!

That's awesome that you like to cook like that - I'm sure your family and friends really appreciate it!!!!

He says I should stick with the original protocol. NO exceptions, and no eggs or cottage cheese. I think he thinks that people lose less weight if they do the eggs or cottage cheese.

Lucky for me I do not in general get hungry period. It takes a lot for that to happen and I thank my lucky stars for that. Odd thing is that this morning I was hungry but couldn't decide which of my lovely p2 creations to eat so in the meantime had some water and coffee and the hunger went away. Are you positive you don't need more water? I was really surprised that it did the trick tbh. Is it too early for you to go to bed? maybe have a warm cup of decaf tea?
I'm sorry you're hungry and hope it goes away and if not, hope you have at least a scale reward for seeing it through in the morning.

I just ate some pickles cause I didn't have any veggies for dinner - I was at my mom's house, and all of the veggies in her veggie drawer were either rotten or carrots.

So I am going to have some water and some hot tea and try to get these crazy kids in bed and go to sleep.

Off to bed myself but if you are still hungry, why not have your veggie option? Up to you. Sending your kids sleepy thoughts and you a happy tummy. Chat tomorrow. Nite.

VLCD19 today and stayed the same. I lost 0.5 yesterday. This round after the first week (which was mostly load weight) the weight is coming off SLOW! It kills me, but thankfully I am spot on for dosage and I feel NO hunger and am feeling awesome so it makes it doable to stick to plan through stalls. I had a 4 day stall in week 2 and I am hoping this is NOT another one. I am so ready for P3 though!!

VLCD 7 and STS

Looked at the stats for my two previous rounds and the first time I didn't STS until like VLCD 12 but in my second round it was on day 8 so well see how it goes from here.

One thing I know is that my last round was so much more about inches than lbs. Last time i only lost about 10lbs but my body slimmed down a LOT.

Given how close to goal I am I think this round is going to be similar. I took my measurements this time to see.

I'd love to lose another 7+ lbs before its over which seems doable of I can net .5 a day but we shall see.

I'm just excited about finding new recipes this time! I did have huger last night but I don't think I've been drinking enough water! Need to get on that!

I so hear you on this! I am slogging through my last 6 days with more sideways action than any true weight loss. Today, up .2 after a 1.2 loss from an apple day on Friday. I'm not hungry and I'm not tired but my head is saying: "dang, this should continue to melt off!". So far, a solid 18lb loss but I am really, really hoping for at least another 3 to 5lbs on this 40 day cycle.

I know this is a "rogue" question, but has anyone stayed on a little bit more time?? I'm thinking just an additional week to see if I can break into the 149s?

I am on the unimed hhcg drops (has the right label) and was one of the ones made in an FDA approved facility so I think they're the real deal.

On day 2 of loading, my first ever round. Not gonna lie, I hate loading more than I thought I would , and I much prefer the empty feeling of my low carb ways for the last 8 -9 months lol. Can't wait to "not eat" and actually feel hungry again. Oh yeah, and not feel exhausted and nauseated. Today will be a day of prep...getting foods ready, and tomorrow will be my first day of VLCD, and it's a holiday, so I can do it at home.

Thank you! I used the pickles (sugar-free) as my veggie option. I woke up this morning retaining water, but I was still down .2, so I am hoping that a pickle-free day today will mean a big loss tomorrow.

I have been trying not to eat late, but that is not always possible, especially while taking care of (and feeding) my 5 little minions.

Thank you for the encouragement. I made it through yesterday, and I can make it through today. I can do anything for 40 days

Morning releasers! I'm down another 1.2 this morning for a total of 6.8 in 6vlcd's. On to vlcd7 and hoping my good losses continue This round is going so much better than my second. That one was not an easy round and I switched from my drops to pellets after about a week. Didn't really lose well until I started on the pellets so I lost a bunch of the first days losses last time. Ugh. Here's todays plan: 96 oz of water (finally just bought a nice container that I can fill up each night with my RO water. Saves me money and I like that I can tell for sure how much water I've had. I wasn't very good about tracking my water bottles. I'm going to set my goal for my steps at 12500 today. Yesterday I got charged up at the end of the day but today I think I'll cut myself a little slack but if the energy gets me going, I'll go over that. Menu is going to be most likely chicken stirfry with chicken breast, mushrooms, onions and zucchini with a sliced apple with cinnamon and stevia along with my regular vitamins.

eta: I think I screwed up somewhere on my losses I think I'll put my losses in my siggy to keep things straight. Off to look at my fitbit readings and make a siggy. I guess math is not my forte. eta: I screwed up for sure. I'm only down 6.3 for the week. Dont know where I made my mistake but I'd rather get some more steps in than look at my old postings Fixed my siggy so I can keep it straight from now on

Dooy, my first round I went over 40 and had a very nice result. I think I lost like 29 lbs? I actually ended up too thin and won't go down that far again. If my losses continue to go well I am hoping not to have to extend too far past 21 but in all likelihood I'll be here with you if you decide to continue on p2 for awhile.

Yay AVY,
I feel the same way about loading days. They're good and bad...Good that I get to eat, bad that I feel terrible afterwards.

I brought Ginger Tea with me to the office - about to brew some. I've also used Zicam, Airborne and Dayquil liquid caps. Hopefully won't cause a stall tomorrow, but I read all the ingredients and don't think it will.

Down 1.1 lbs today after only .3 over the 3 previous days. Phew! 19.3 lbs as of Day 39...

Interestingly, I did have about 2 tsps of ghee yesterday (intended on CO but grabbed the wrong jar). I am a little rogue in the sense that I normally have HWC in my coffee... only about 1 Tbsp per coffee and I have 2-3 coffees per day. So the ghee was in addition to that. Maybe my body was crying out for some fat?

i'm being all wild and crazy and considering some green beans with dinner. I used my last zucchini at lunch so now I'm out. Thinking I don't feel like running up to the store today (hate shopping on weekends if I can avoid it) so....I have mushrooms and onions so maybe I'll just add those to my beans with some smoked salt for a bacony flavor. Ok, sold myself I've been walking a bunch today just doing stuff around my house. I'm over 16K now so I'm going to have another high day on my fitbit Sure is nice to feel so enthusiastic. It's been awhile since I've felt like this.

This was me my first round. I hated loading. Made me feel nauseous to eat. But don't worry soon enough you'll have that empty feeling!

What is Ghee?

Today was an interesting day. Rode 5 miles on my bike and it was tough!! Usually I can do 8-10 without issue so I was surprised how sore my legs felt so quickly. We did ride against the wind but man I'm out of shape!

I locked the keys in the house and it took us 2.5 hours to get inside so THAT was fun.

I tried two new recipes... First I made a chicken salad. I grilled the chicken and shredded it- then put a tiny bit of ACV, yellow mustard, salt pepper and curry powder. It was good and a nice change from the standard grilled chicken I usually have which I can no longer stomach! Next time ill add in some celery and apple! Yum!

I tried the lemon sorbet. Not sure it was a winner. It was just a little too tart even with the stevia. Oh we'll it was worth a try!

Still haven't had my dinner veggie and I'm so exhausted I don't feel like cooking but I want it eat... Not sure what to have.

Hope you all had a nice Sunday!
