Can I use ibuprofen or an rx pain reliever?

Hi, Everyone! I have chronic back issues and am currently in a good deal of pain. I'm on Day 15 of P2 and have followed protocol - do NOT want to screw it up now. So, I reviewed the P&I and it says: Aspirin for headaches - any other meds with special permission.

Has anyone had to take more than aspirin for pain relief?

I do! i have taken both tylenol and mortrin and have had no problem! i am on vlcd16 and am down 18.8lbs....so i dont think it has affected me. good luck!

yes ive taken acetominohen aleeve snd oxycodone no effect go ahead!

Just fyi, ibuprophen can actually make you RETAIN water (weirdly). So if you see a blip up on the scale, don't be worried--it's just water. It generally gives me 1-3 pounds when I take it (even not on protocol).
