She's back for another round...

Hello old and new friends. It's been awhile since I posted in this forum. I've been busy getting fat. Kidding! Well, I'm not kidding about putting on weight. About 2 years ago, I lost about 40lbs with hHCG. I was pleased with that and maintained for several months. Then, I got hit with crushing fatigue and pain unrelated to the diet. I started packing pounds on like crazy. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia recently. I'm not taking anything to treat it since my symptoms are manageable.
I met with a naturopathic doctor yesterday to discuss my current state of health. After he observed my recent bloodwork results and discussed my health goals, he wrote me a prescription for HCG. I'm very excited to try the pharmaceutical version this time. I will fill the prescription today and go back to the Dr. on Saturday for my first injection. I will be going in weekly to have my body composition checked. I will likely be doing a 40 day round. I'm thrilled that this is covered under my extended health care plan. My only fear is the needles!I'm sure I'll get over it.
This time, I'm sticking to the protocol my doctor has assigned. It's quite strict and not far off the original...just a few other vegetable options.

Wish me luck!

welcome back I haven't seen you for a long time I am glad you are back. That is really too bad about the Fibromyalgia but I am really happy you are able to do HCG under a doctor's watch and that it is covered for you.

Hi Jabbok! Thank you for the welcome back. I really need the accountability and supervision right now. I think that knowing the precise changes in my body composition will be very encouraging to me.

This board is good for support and accountability I am glad you are back. I am doing another round of P2 I have been having trouble maintaining the loss from the last 3 rounds so I am hoping to get it right this time.

Are you going to do protocol or rogue?

I'm sticking to strict protocol this time. I've warned my boyfriend that things are about to get austere!

Oh, I just saw you are doing the Rx this time. How great is that!! And those needles---do not even worry about it. My dd, who at age 11 was diagnosed with theyp 1 diabetes, used those needles all the time before she got her pump for the insulin. She is scared to death of blood, let alone needles LOL. And she is so used to it now. Well, she is almost 12--2 more months. So you have nothing to fear!!! You will get this.

That's great that you are starting another round. Exciting! Even more exciting is hearing there is a doctor in Canada offering rx hcg. That's too good to be true! Maybe by the time the idea works itself east I won't need it anymore. I hope this catches on in Canada because it's great! I have another friend poised to start because of how much I've changed since August when I visited her last!

Have a great round!

Shrinking, I hope other Provinces get on board! I was so excited to hear that it would be available to me here in BC. I thought it was too good to be true, but now that I've picked up my prescription I can believe it!

I have a dinner planned with my favourite girlfriends, but alas they are all vegans. That means we are going for upscale vegetarian food. Hardly what I had in mind for a loading dinner, but oh well...I'll be sure to find the richest foods on the menu!

Today was my first loading day for round 5. I'm planning to load for three days this time so I didn't really have that much food today. Tomorrow I hope to be able to really pig out.

I will start VLCD on Monday so it looks like a few of us will be starting at the same time.

Today is going to be my third lading day. I was up almost 3 lbs after day one!! I hate the fact tat I always gain so much during the lading days. It takes me longer just to get back to where I started.

Oh we'll, it is what it is. I don't feel like I've eaten enough fat; mostly carb-age. I always feel like I have to get in all of the stuff I don't normally get to eat. I'm sure that's the root of why I gain so much. Tomorrow I'm heading to Burger King for the Bacon Sunday. So delicious. The perfect combination of sweet and salty.

I'm really feeling stuffed and can't wait to start VLCD on Monday.

I wish Dairy Queen was closer, I'd get a Peanut Buster Parfait!

I administered my first injection today. It was way easier than I thought. I woke up feeling super energetic, which is rare for me. It could be the hcg or the b12 shot my doctor gave me yesterday...or it could also be placebo. Either way, I'm ready to tackle this day.

I have a tonne of food to portion out and some cooking to do. Busy!

I can't wait for VLCD on Monday. I gained 10 lbs after my 2nd loading day so I wonder if it was a mistake to load for three days this time. I should have known what to expect. I guess I was hoping that I wouldn't gain so much.

I'll check in with you all tomorrow. Lets get those lbs off!!

Good luck ladies I really hope you have a successful round.

I am on vlcd 18 and am thinking about extending my round to 30 days but I am missing my coffee I need to have cream in my coffee

I am finding this round easy because I premade all of my lunches for the week, have my chicken portioned out for my supper so when I get home I just heat up the George foreman grill put some spices on my chicken and steam my veggies very easy and quick.

Yes Cindy, I think preparation is key. I'm not getting derailed due to bad planning on this round!

Loading is done, I gained 1.2lbs...not much. Let the losing begin!

Well, after the third loading day I'm still at a ten lb gain from loading. It's not as bad as I thought it might be, but still, I will probably spend half of my round just getting back to square one. It makes me so mad! My daughter loaded with me and she's only up two lbs.

I think I'm pretty well prepared too. I have enough chicken breasts weighed and portioned out to last the whole round, and fish too. I just need to pick up some Melba. That's not necessary though, but I really look forward to having it when I'm on protocol.

I wish the best for everyone. Hope we have some good losses!
