down 1.4 today on day 4 so I'm happy with that, I see on the days I do bodypump my body holds onto water (duh) and the days I do combat it releases more but that's been the norm for me all rounds so i'm used to it. I am .2 below pre-load weight so glad that's over with now time to just lose weight! HAPPY FRIDAY!!

PS Is anyone watching the following? I watched it the other night before bed and from now on that's a no-no! For some reason I dreamt I gave myself an injection and my intestines starting squirting out of the area!! freaked me out lol!

booty, that's awesome! You're already down about a lb a day and great inch loss! I'm so happy for you!

sillyme, you too! Doing great! Yes, I did load up on carbs, as usual. I just feel like, this is my chance to eat those things since I'm always so restrictive with my diet. I'm sure that's why I gain more loading weight than most people. My stomach just blew up. The good thing is with HCG my stomach usually shrinks down pretty quickly. I just still feel so fat right now. Waiting for HCG to do its thing.

It's encouraging to hear everyone's losses! I hope I don't get you guys down. I tend to be a pessimist. Really, I don't know what's going on yet. I'll weigh on Monday and maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Heather the one I made was from up in the sticky section. I had it last night for dinner, it was good...

100 grams extra lean ground beef
160 grams Fire roasted tomatoes - i think it had a name brand but being in Canada we don't always have the same brands, so mine was different
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp dark cocoa powder
Put the juices from the tomatoes in the pot with the beef and the spices and cook until its brown then add the tomoatoes and heat for an additional 5 minutes.

However, my measurements are looking awesome. So far 2" off the hips, 1" off each thigh, 1" off the waist and .5" off the chest. Also, my calves, naval and arms are all down .5" each.

That is worth celebrating!
Being down inches is what gets us in smaller sizes and thats even better than what the scales say!!! Congrats!

heather, what an awful dream. I bet you'll think of it with every injection now, Lol.

Here's something funny; I have an HCG app on my iPad that I use to log my meals, progress, take notes, etc. Well, since today is day 5 of p2, and I haven't recorded any weight loss on the app yet, it automatically put 6 apples on my menu for today. That's hilarious

The app is just called hCG. It's an excellent app. It's not free though. I think I paid about $10. There's also a corresponding one for the iPhone which is excellent also. You will be charged for each one if you want them both. I have them both, but just use the iPad one since the phone is so tiny. I highly recommend it.

This is the same one I make. I'm Canadian as well, so I don't think the brand will help...I think I buy Western Family.

I bought a new scale, of course it weighs me almost 3 lbs heavier. Boo! All good, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow so that's the real weight I'm using as a measure. I just wanted a sleeker looking scale, my old one was chunky.

I'm up a pound this morning, thinking this could be caused by a few things and I'm not going to let it get me down...
1. its 6 hours earlier than i weighed myself the last couple of days (have to go to work)
2. I drank some sodium filled broth last night
3. possibly ovulation
Hopefully tomorrow its gone plus some to make up for it!

Sillyme, drink your water and I'm sure you will be fine!

So last night I mentioned that my new scale measured me heavy. Well this morning it was lighter than my old scale. Weird!

Very weird about the scale. I've been drinking my water no worries about that! Tonight I had cabbage for the first time, hopefullly it doesn't stall me because it was nice to have something other than salad for veggies.

Back from the Dr., his scale was only about .2lbs heavier than mine. So I am running with the number I saw this morning. I'm down 6.8 in week one.

Well my bounce up is gone but only took an extra 0.4 with it today. But down is down and I'm not sure i'll see a back down for a couple days with the weird schedule I've got. Tonight I have to work 8pm-8am. Not sure what to do about meals since I've already slept all last night and while i know i'll have a nap I will want to eat before I go into work tonight.

Anyways so after 8 VLDC days i'm down 9.6 pounds (includes weight gained from loading). Down 7.4 not including the loading weight. Better than any other diet program I've done. Hope it continues!

Thank you both for the congratulations yesterday. Miraculously, I dropped another 1.4 lbs lastnight. So on VLCD 8, I'm down 8.2 total.

Sillyme, you could try breaking your daily fruits and veggies in to mini meals to spread them out.

I finally weighed today. I netted a 1.4 lb loss in the 6 days of VLCD. Today is R5 P2 D7. Even though its only 1.4 lbs I'm actually pretty happy about it! I gained 10 from loading so total loss is 11.3 lbs if you include the loading gain. Not too shabby

Only down 0.2 today, hopefully the losses speed back up again. Its hard to so diligent and not lose as quickly as that first week but I guess its to be expected. Back to salad for a couple days to see if it was the cabbage holding me back, I hope not because I really enjoyed it!

It seems like the 2nd week have really little losses compared to the 1st week but hang in there and you will be rewarded.

Week 2 can be challenging. Slowing down is so normal, don't let it derail you!

I refuse to talk about it with anyone who hasn't read the protocol. I have just been telling people that I'm working with my naturopath on food sensitivities and hormonal issues. It's not a lie. It's easier for people to understand.

Yes, I told my mom that the other day, i was giving up all dairy for a while to see if my weight loss started again. She said yeah you didn't do well on milk when you were young either!!! WHAT?? Why didn't you tell me that lol. Not that I drink milk but I sure do enjoy my cheese and cream! It doesn't make me feel bad either so I'm sure it isn't a problem really. I did try to have some cream in my coffee yesterday and after 10 days of drinking it black I could even smell the cream and it turned me off. Needless to say that coffee got dumped

I tell people I am doing a detox and cutting out breads, white sugar, dairy most people don't question that.

I cook for my family (my DH and 4 kids) while on P2, regular food while I eat fat free stuff on P2 I sit here and want their food while DH wants my food Cannot have it both ways. DH loves veggies (especially my spinach and even some food I KNOW I have to eat while they are not around) and I love their Atkins style fat full food. I made the best casserole last night I wanted it sooo badly Oh my, we are quite the family
