Vlcd 3 P2 no weight loss....HELP, I NEED MOTIVATION!!!

Happy New Year to everyone,

I had plans to start the hcg diet in October but decided to wait until after the holidays. I thought that would be wise since all types of food and desserts would be shoved in my face for 2 months straight.
So right after Christmas I bought my drops from Intermountain and received them in 3 days. Yipee!! I went and bought scales and the food listed on the protocol list.

Monday January 6th I began loading for 2 days. I ate so well I was 3 pounds heavier on the first morning of my first vlcd. On Vlcd day 1, everything went great. I only ate what was allowed along with tons of water and green tea. By day 2, I had lost that three pounds. So today I woke up like a kid on Christmas morning excited to weigh myself and was dissapointed because I didnt lose any weight. I am drinking a ton of water everyday along with unsweetened green tea (YUCK). I would like to know if anyone has gone thru this or am I just being impatient?

Day 1
Breakfast-Green tea
Lunch-1 oz baked tilapia,celery,1 melba,orange
Dinner-1 oz baked chicken breast, cucumbers, melba, handful of strawberries

Day 2
Breakfast-water and green tea
Lunch-1 oz baked tilapia,tomatoes,melba,apple
Dinner-1 oz baked chicken breast with lime juice, lettuce, melba, strawberries.

Good heavens, woman! You are not eating enough protein. You need to be eating 3.5oz or 100g per sitting. Make sure you get that in. It COULD impact your losses. You don't want to throw yourself into starvation mode.

If that's a typo, just stick with it. Sometimes it happens. Just be patient and let the hCG work it's magic!

And WELCOME!

Also, the unsweetened green tea tastes MUCH better with just a couple of drops of Sweetleaf Cinnamon stevia!

Oh, my word! I sure hope that was a typo LOL. You need to eat 3.5 oz weighed raw of the protein.

Hoping that was just a typo, you have to just hang in there. I was the EXACT same way my first round. I lost all my load weight on Day #1 of P2 and nothing, zip, nada, not a single pound on day #2. I followed through with the plan, eating all my protocol foods and everything was fine by the next day. So don't freak out!!! As much as it easy, do not freak out. Your body is just resting and getting used to the whoosh of the first day. You will continue on to lose more weight. Trust me. All you have to do is follow the plan......and get in all 3.5 oz raw weight of your protein. You have done nothing wrong and don't need to tweak anything in your menu (except the amounts LOL).

Oops!!!

Sorry about that, I do mean 100 grams, but thanks for replying. I also wanted to add that I have not gone to the bathroom since my 2nd load day. So I am seriously constipated. I was thinking that could be a reason as well. Any suggestions?

@starla, if that's the case, take some magnesium if you have any. I use natural calm or tablets. Your other option is greatly increase water and sea salt in lemon water, or smooth move tea. Yes, that could impact your losses and plus it's uncomfortable!

Hooray!

Happy Saturday to everybody,

I just wanted to thank yall for the support yesterday. I was ready to give up. Today I woke up 3 pounds lighter. I am going to get the Smooth move today so hopefully that helps with the other issue. Everybody have a wonderful weekend.

Yay, Starla! And btw, I'm sure you know that constipation isn't really the "other" issue - it's perhaps THE issue -completely related to non-losses. Constipation and TOM fluids are the main reasons for stalls. Once you get "going," I'm sure the scale will catch up even more!

Bravo! I knew that was it!

I think my body may be addicted to Natural Calm - I hope I go back to normal in P3, which begins tomorrow. Last time I was still taking it (and Metamucil) in P3. We'll see. But no way I'd ever do P3 without it!
