Calling in this round... And OK with it.
I'm on day 12 of Round 2 and calling it in... I have not been consistent with my drops, eating or this round at all. My head isn't in it. I need a couple more weeks to more properly shop and prepare my stock and mentally get ready. I am OK with this decision. I find it a better alternative than continuing to feel the failure of this round. I am currently LDW-2, so I will try to stabilize and begin again on 2/1/13 for a "R2 redux!"
Something I gained by doing my first round (I lost 20 lbs) was that I have a problem with alcohol. I mean a real, legit problem. When I started this program on 10/1/12, I never knew it would show me how dependent I was on it. Today, I'm 40 days sober, and active in my recovery using AA tools and a lot of prayer. Part of this includes self-care, and so my getting to a healthy weight is in line with that. I successfully completed 21 days of P3 on 12/23/12 and stabilized like a rock star (+1 LDW) and I know this program works. I just felt a little out of control the last two weeks, and couldn't get into a rhythm with P2 again... I'm just not ready. So, I'll go back to P3 for the remainder of the month, and start anew next month... |

Good luck to you in P3 and when you go back to P2. And CONGRATULATIONS on your stabilization, your sobriety, and your decision to change your life!

Thanks guys... I need to be more active on here and learn from your experience. I suffered through a LONG 40 day round last time, and I won't ever do that again! I'm going only 23-30 days, depending on how I feel. Learning to take queues from my body and trust in the process is something new to me, the over controller. Learning...

Take a break and then come back when you are ready... One thing I felt when i did R2, that R1 was easier, I think our motivation is stronger on R1... R3 my motivation is as strong as R1, so i think that has a lot to do with what your body and mind will give into...
Great your going to AA and all, admitting your dependence is half the battle. I commend you for even talking about it here... Stay Strong and remember, "If it is to Be, Its Up to Me" VR |

I commend you, as well.
And I want to say that R2's (as in your "real" one, coming up), CAN be just as dedicated and strong as R1's. I just finished my second round, with no less resolve, no less "head in the game," and no less of a loss average. It CAN be done. |
