As for juicing your veggies and fruit together---go for it!! As long as they are on protocol fruits/veggies. I make a smoothie for lunch/dinner sometimes that includes my protein. I use this recipe:

3.5 oz cottage cheese (it is an allowed protein on P2)
3 oz raw spinach
3 or 4 oz of strawberries
water/ice if you are using fresh strawberries
2 packets of artificial sweetener

Put all together in blender and drink!!!

I love doing this if I need a real quick to-go meal.

I also make a strawberry lemonade. Just take your allotted strawberries for a serving and 1 lemon. Blend those together with either water or ice. Nice and refreshing.

Oh, and your protein should be 3.5 oz weighed raw. Otherwise you can weigh in grams. That would be 100 grams weighed raw. Don't cut yourself short!!!

this is a staple for me while on p2 especially after the gym in the mornings
i also add some cocoa powder
i this its delish and very filling

Sunny---I actually like it without the cocoa powder. Imagine that, a chocoholic who would prefer NO chocolate in her smoothie. LOL. I would have never thought that, but oh so true.

Gained .2lbs each of last 2 days for some reason....MotherinLaw cooks for us and i tell her how critical stuff is...but here was yesterdays meal

5am coffee til around 8am... jug of water w/ splash of Crys Light Lemonade

1:30 Heated up leftover from LN dinner ...true Cod w/ Celery, tomatoes,onions, hardly any vegg left with fish, so i counted it as half a veg and had Broccoli as veggie, forgotto eat my apple...

5pm Grilled chicken Breast: Salad / tomatoes,onions,cumcumber, with a broth-vinegar dressing i made up...1 melba toast, Dog ate the other...

She said she marinated it in Balsalmic and a few spices like S/P, rosemary...I told her after dinner that i dont think Balsalmic was on Protocol, she apologized....

7-8 pm snack :a few mini pretzels, (in a few hours might of had 5-6... said 110 calories for 19 mini pretzels so maybe 6 cal each...so 30 calories for those..

830 pm.. late night green Tea

not sure how much salt she used on chicken... or on pretzels... but water % was up this AM, so maybe its water...

I feel like its a wasted day when the scale does not go down but goes up... P/I says u could plateau on the 42 days cycle after the 1/2 way point so im not even there yet..and I have that to look forward to...

One More thing... Yesterday after I injected... I usually put the HCG back in ziplock..roll it up and put it in frig, where when door is closed light is off... however, yesterday i left it on the counter and familia, seen it and left it during the day... so it was exposed to kitchen lights on most of day i assume... I know we are suppose to refrigerate it and keep it out of light right? think there is any damage to it? I got it from Over Sea's to and have an order coming but not here yet... Im wondering if its weak now or gone for that matter and im injecting myself with basically sterile water... Wonder if i should buy a Prego Kit and test HCG...??? Thoughts..

Rich, hang in there! It happens!

Seriously, have you read P&I or the list of protocol fruits, veg, and starch? I'm just wondering since there seem to be a few deviations--mixing veggies, broccoli, pretzels, and you're right, balsamic is not on protocol. Generally, I would point back to those as the culprit of a stall or a gain. If you are intentionally deviating, it's totally fine! Just wanted to make sure you knew.

5 days remain on protocol i think. Start weight after load 226.8 and Today I weighed in at 197.5. total lost of 29.3#

Went to Superbowl party and it was awfully hard. Weigh in Sunday SB morning was like 197.5 and i ate over 500 that day... Could of easily had 5000 like everyone else. The Spread in Grand Ballroom (High Roller friend) invited me. We we in an exclusive Vip inside the VIP, So catered to special. Alaskian crab cut in halves, oysters on half shell,clams, sashimi, etc. Full candy bars from Butterfingers, Snickers, M&M's etc, to skittles etc... full Italian area...Sweets Galore, Icecreams, etc...

For the 5 hrs I was there, I drank water for thirst and i did have the following 2-3 small half crab legs with lemon, 2 baby clams, 2 small oysters, red tuna no rice, a salad with lemon, 1 small meatball, 1 half sausage, 1/2 of an orange juice bar, (only 100 call for full bar/so 50 cal).

I know i cheated, but considering the damage i could of done compared to what everyone was doing, I did well in comparison abstaining from alot. I only gained a little over 1# on Monday Am. Today down to what i woke up to on SB morning....

Thoughts on going past 40 days maybe 1 week? to make up for the 4 day stall i had a few weeks ago and SB F'up?

thanks....PS, I still have Injections RX enough to go a few more weeks i think.

If i go right into P3 after this week ends, it will probably go bad. My other option would would be go off for 3 weeks P3 and then return for a 23 day cycle. That would me that i havent had bread, rice carbs like that for almost 85 days. man is it tough, maybe i needed that little cheat SB sunday.

Not by itself, it won't. Not if you don't let it. After all that hard work, why would you? I have had so many P2 and P3 challenges I've made it through, just by remembering that I've eaten that crap for a lifetime and NOW is the time to get healthy. And honestly nothing is more important to me. I always say HCG is like financing a car in that you get to drive it away right away (like record quick weight loss), but you HAVE to keep making the payments or they'll come take it away.

I have only done two rounds, but I took 9 weeks off in between (P3/P4). I would be nervous rolling right into another round so quick, not so much about the carbs/sugar, as I still rarely eat them, but more because I think it's good to stabilize. But I'm very tempted this time!

Rich, are you saying you would "go bad" and eat off protocol in P3 (not following the no starch, no sugar),
OR are you saying you think if you go off now and do P3 that the hcg that was left on the counter will "go bad"?

Just wondering -

My 2 cents - do the P3 break. Especially if you've been doing injections. Finish out your 40 days (or 42, some people don't count the 2 loading days in their 40), eat Atkins style for P3. If you're worried about the potency of the hcg, and whether its potency will last while mixed for the 3 weeks you are on P3 (and are you doing a 3 week P4?), I understand that, but doing back-to-back rounds leads to possible immunity where it won't work well, and also the whole diet and protein deprivation thing and could lead you to binge later. So not worth it, at least in my book. If you think you need to eke out a few more days to get control of yourself and finish strong, well, that's your choice certainly - but I wouldn't go longer.

You've done so well. You had a great success even at the superbowl party. Rock on!
