Hey Gals!
I'm here and ready to kick some serious holidays pounds!! Let’s do this thing!!I'm day one of loading. Trying to keep it low carb, but not being entirely successful. But I am not force feeding by any shape or form. Honestly I don't believe in it. I acknowledge that it takes a day or two for HCG to build up in your system, but I don't believe in the "loading" concept. I've decided to try the Dana Carpender Fat Fast round. I've had really good success doing FF during my rounds before, but never tried to do a round that way from the beginning. The longest I ever did FF was 12 days. I averaged 1390 calories @ 83% fat and lost 7.8 pounds. Admittedly I'm not the fastest loser. My goal is to lose 17 pounds. This has not been a great past year ![]() I have my best Bud's Alfredo Sauce made, will bake a batch of cream cheese muffins tomorrow, fry up some bacon, make some peanut butter pudding and package up some Brazil nuts. My goal is to reduce the average calories and up the average fat percentage. What are your plans?

Terri soooo jealous of the fat fasting!
Can you share your recipe for the alfredo sauce? Still no weighing for me, but feeling good! Have some serious post holiday organizing to do today, so I will be very busy, and hopefully NOT thinking about food.

Ladies!!! Nice to see you all again. If you don't mind, I'd like to be watching from the wings. I'm not on a round but I AM on a juicing cleanse/detox. Green juice with fruit added. I started on 1/3 and am already down 6.2 lbs. I will do 10 days and see how I feel at that point. The juice is pleasant but not "yummy" by any stretch of the imagination, but I like what I have heard will result from this detox. If you've ever seen "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead", you'll understand what I'm doing. (Can be seen on Netflix or Hulu.) EmBee, you look so different in your new Avi! What a change!! Do you see it too? Hugs and best wishes to all of you on your round. I'll be around!

Alfredo sauce 2 sticks butter 1 brick cream cheese 1 1/2 cups HWC (2 cups if you want it a bit thinner) 1 cup parmesan cheese garlic and pepper to taste melt butter and cream cheese together with spices over med high heat. Whisk until smooth and creamy. add cream. Heat to just under a boil. Add cheese. Heat and stir until cheese melts and everything is creamy. As it cools it will thicken. When you refrigerate the leftovers it will get solid, but it reheats great. It may separate a bit when you reheat it, but it stirs together fine. I usually wait until mid round to FF too. This is a new experiment for me. I might add the 7.8# I lost on 12 days of FF was mid round, so it didn't take into consideration week one losses. So I have big hopes for this. Quote:

Hi ladies
Embee wow what a difference in you. Dropping by to check in and say I feel much better now that in on track. Amazing how a few days of eating whatever can make you feel so bad. I feel and look much better already. Mom- are you doing a rogue round? I am Cheryl wow you are starting the new year off on the right track. Good for you. I will weigh in on Tuesday as I am no longer a slave to the scale ![]() I hope to be close to goal before my surgery at the end of the month. I want to stop the hhcg at least a week before. Has anyone heard of taking Arnica Montana before surgery to reduce swelling and bruising from the surgery? I'm hoping to have as little down time as possible. Off to make some P2 chili as I'm cold... Have a great Sunday . Bee |

Terri- FF on hcg? I must read up on that! Sounds delicious. If I had to pick one food to eat forever it would be peanut butter.

I GUESS I'M A BIT ROGUE, I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS UNTIL NOW. LOL I USE COCONUT OIL AND I USE HALF AND HALF IN MY COFFEE. I FIND THAT I DON'T CHEAT AND I AM VERY SUCCESSFUL WHEN I DON'T FEEL SO DEPRIVED.

Thanks, ladies! Bee, I don't know anything about that drug or substance you mentioned. I hope your surgery is not too serious. It's been a long time and I've forgotten details. I have other great news, too! Those of you who remember me know that I've been volunteering at a therapeutic riding center for the past year. I've been trying to get a part time job there but they just wouldn't offer me one. (They hadn't hired anyone else for budget reasons so it's not as if they hired "over" me.) But I got a call on 1/3 from the office lady and she offered me a job!!! I start orientation tomorrow afternoon and then again this Friday, then once more on Monday morning to show me what the routine is in the morning, should they ever need me to fill in in a pinch. They know mornings and I don't get along but I told them I'd just stay up all night playing games when I need to work in the morning. (Trouble getting to sleep, then trouble waking up at a specific time.) Isn't that amazing?! I will also be trained in exercising the horses from the ground. If/when I get down to goal weight and if/when my left hip is more forgiving of the straddle position it takes to ride, then I can work the horse mounted as well! My dream is coming true! I have the motivation I needed to finally make things happen. The door has been opened for me and now there's no more dreaming necessary. I just have to do a good job, learn things on my own through reading and online and also be open to any and all training at the farm. I hope each of you has an amazing year, too! I know life can turn on a dime and it scares me to be so happy and so certain that this is going to be a great year, but in this regard, it definitely will be great. |

What do you all use for lotion, shampoo and soap? I've always used my usual stuff, but thinking I might try something I'm suppose to use while taking hhcg. I just need my shampoo to be something that won't strip my hair color out.

Cheryl great news. So happy for you to see your dreams come true. Enjoy every moment of it.
My surgery is for my droopy eye lids as they block part of my vision. Good motivation to keep the weight off. I trust the doctor with the surgery so I will go to the health food store tomorrow for the Arnica as I need to have little down time as my brother can only care for our Mom for a few days. I joke with her that she better not decide to give up on living while I look like I did a couple rounds in the ring with a pro boxer. She has to decide if she will start 3rd line chemo or quality of life ....time with my brother will be good for her as she hasn't seen him in a year. I'm not sure how I will do as I have been her primary caregiver for the past 8 months. MOM/ I do drink diet dr pepper once a week on our treat night. I'm a bit rogue as I mix veggies and use cream .. Looking forward to the scale on Tuesday. As I'm shocked to fit into a size 6 now. Hcg really does reshape your body. Bee |

Terri, thanks so much for the recipe!!! Sounds delicious. Thanks to Carrie, too! Mommy - sometimes I drink diet soda but I am so rogue that is the least of my worries. I also use all of my same beauty products. Last edited by RileyWorm; 01-06-2013 at 03:35 PM.. |

@ Terri
I'm the queen of stalls I have finally learned when I stall for 3 days to do 0 percent GY day 24oz. I usually lose 3pounds with no bounce back if eating clean the next day. Not sure how I will know if I stall now as I'm only weighing once a week. Maybe if I stop feeling empty and thinner? I think I will try the FF as a transition to p3. Good night all. Bee |

Best of luck with the Arnica, and please keep us posted when you are having the surgery so we can be praying for you. Will throw one in there for you Mom and family, too. ![]() Size 6? And you're doing a round? Wow, girl. I'd be calling goal for sure! Quote:
Thanks, M.B. It has been a long time since I started volunteering there and from the beginning, I was working hard to impress so I might get hired there at some point. And now it has come around and I can feel content knowing my hard work was recognized and I feel validated. ![]() Quote:
Have a great night, ladies. I heard that tonight and tomorrow is a brand new season of The Biggest Loser. I'll be watching! I love to watch them kick the living tar out of everybody. ![]() |

Thanks for all the responses about the diet soda. My thought is that if I can still lose weight by using half and half, I could drink diet coke instead and be fine right lol
Riley, what other rogue things do you do. |

@Mommy - pretty much anything goes for me as long as it's low carb. I eat non protocol veggies, I mix them, I eat non protocol proteins, I add more protein, I add bits of butter or mayo or pb here and there. I was initially inspired by the omaha plan, which allows for 800 calories. This round I'm doing a 'bit' stricter but already slipping back into my super rogue ways.

In previous rounds I've eaten FF Beef hot dogs, cottage cheese everyday, full fat greek yogurt everyday, would occasionally eat chicken legs and thighs with skin, have chicken salad with ff dressing, and use regular beauty products. I lost slowly, but steady. And I was always satisfied.
