Good Job MOMMY! I can't wait to be there with ya!
Cheryl, the last shot I got gave me relief for 10 days! So I hope with getting 2 sets done it'll last longer.
vlcd1 today....so far so good. Had cottage cheese and an apple ealier. Steak for dinner with a tomato. My stomach rumbled this morning, but no hunger after I ate.
Question....where do I find that Smooth Move tea? I've used MOM before but I think it caused me to have gains. I'm just preparing myself for whats bound to happen!

I found Smooth Move in savemart along with the other teas. I was actually surprised to see it there.

I started taking magnesium, potassium, a multivitamin, biotin along with my peppermint oil and probiotic. The funny thing is, I didn't know WHY I should take the first 2, it was suggested so I did. That's probably pretty stupid, huh?

If it was something wacky maybe, but they're good solid healthy supplements that are just plain good for everyone. Wouldn't it be nice if we all had the time to know everything about everything.

Thank you everyone!

I get smooth tea from publix or Winn Dixie. I've seen it at Albertsons, Smith's and Vons too

I'm struggling this round. All the snacks and sweets around me look so good. I don't get how on my last round ,which was 42 days long I wasn't tempted at all. I think I've limited my self to much. I've only been eating eggs, cottage cheese and chicken. And only strawberries, spinach and asparagus. I'm ready to be done already. Sorry just venting. I know its because its that time of the month too.

All of these fabulous grocery stores ya'll are talking about and I just have the Walmarts and a Schnucks (a St. Louis/Midwest thing). Another confession: had a few cocktails tonight, only 5 (okay that may sound like a lot but it was 5 over 5 hours, and that is good for me!) and then we came home and the BF wanted salmon patties, of all things! So I had 2. Boo for me. But the bonus is I got into skinny jeans I bought a month ago that were too tight and now they fit PERFECT. Its the little things. Not weighing anyway because I don't want the alcohol dehydation/sodium blow up from salmon patties counteracting with my true weight and affect my mojo. Though I cheated a bit I still feel as though I kept it under control regarding hunger/fullness/overating. YKWIM.
Just wish me good luck tmrow because I am heading to a BBQ and my plan is to only eat the meat, but I know I will be tempted! The hostess is making OLIVE BREAD! WAAHHH!

It seemed like every round was harder and harder for me then the first. I always wished I had just kept going with the first to goal. I'm finding it easier changing things up. You might just try changing foods replace lean beef for chicken, yogurt for cottage cheese, etc.

Confession time for me too. Last night I snuck in a couple glasses of wine. Food only 1379/85% after wine 1629/72. Down 1.6. Makes 7# in 6 days.

Your body is just catching up with all your great weight loss. As much as we want it too and get unreasonably bummed when it doesn't, it unreasonable to think we can lose every day. Especially when you consider the whole water weight fluctuation. You could have lost a # and retained 2# of water and it looks like you've gained Best suggestion is drink up!

If you have a Trader Joes, they have a great Fat Free Greek 5.3 oz for 80 calories. And a bonus of added fiber.

Hi all! I had a GNO last night and all things considering I think I did really well! I had two shots of alcohol but other than that I drank 3 bottles of water. It was also a potluck so I ate a bit of salad, a couple of tacos, leaving a lot of the taco shell off, and a couple of meatballs. I didn't touch the desserts and there was yummy stuff there!

I'll step on the scale as soon as I drag myself out of bed, didn't get in until 2am

Greetings all! congrats on all the losses! and Cheryl honey, whoopie on the new job! and a hearty welcome to all the new faces!

No one is too rogue for this thread! Protocol is grand for some people, but not for all. The object is to lose weight effectively and keep it off, and I say whatever does that for you, go to it!

I started out rogue right off, as I am an ova-lacto vegetarian. (eggs and dairy only) Kinda impossible to be strict protocol on a high protein diet without meat. lol. A number of other differences too have sprang up between me and the Protocol (mixing veggies is the least of my "sins"), both from necessity and from desire. For example, I use orange juice this round; my go-to work-day lunch has evolved into a oj/gy/whey protein powder smoothie that I can make and pack. Fills me up, tastes yummy, and doesn't seem to be affecting my losses this round.

I had my weekly weigh-in today. (another of my rogue things; I refuse to obsess) continued losses here. ... 5 pounds this week (155). for a grand total of 10 pounds lost in 10 days! not bad. I'll take it. course I'm not quite in virgin territory yet, but hope to get there in a few weeks.

So far this round is as smooth and easy as the first (the only successful one) was. praying this continues!

Hoping tonight brings a visit from the Whoosh Fairy for each and every one of you.

Suzi

You know Mommy I was wondering the same thing myself ? Last round I was so 100 % mentally there & it felt so EASY compared to this round ! This round eventhough I am losing better than any round but it is very hard every darn day. Some days are better than others but so many temptations. Today I had 3 bites of beef from beef stew I made my hubby. I'm kicking myself but at least it was protein and I didn't eat my son's mac & cheese or any of the veggies in the stew

This round I am having "all" my food otherwise I don't feel like I could make it another day. What's keeping me doing this ? I think determination & that the alternative which is being over my ldw is simply not acceptable to me. Thank the Lord I am stubborn ! So I just take it one day at a time, 1 week at a time.

Hoping next week is better for all of us. I do think for me personally I have been strickly dieting for an entire year. I started losing weight Jan 2012 with no breaks. Other than P3/P4 and the loading/vacation cheat I have been vlcd. So I really want to make this round count & the last (hopefully). I really am not craving "bad" food per se. I find myself just craving my P3 foods (greek yogurt, lots and lots of protein, full fat dressing, eggs, Duke's mayo, cheese & specially hwc). So I guess that's not a bad thing I just keep telling myself "soon" otherwise I won't enjoy it as much when I get there

HI SUZI!!!

I love Smooth Move tea...I find it at Harris Teeters, but I think you can also order it online. I love the peppermint...but I haven't tried the chocolate. So today was my daughters birthday so I celebrated...I'll get back on track tomorrow. Sometimes we just have to do that...remembering it is a journey and not a sprint helps...(though sometimes I like sprints...hahaha)

Pandora, I am craving p3 foods so bad too! Mmmm I want my almonds and cheese! Not together Lol then I look at the junk food and say why couldn't I crave you when I was loading lol!!

I think when I stalled last p2 from tomatoes and lean beef it made me just want to cut it out this round. I gave in and made some p2 approved chili, so we will see if that will be a problem this round.
I really need to get my head in this. I want to be thin so bad. I have 3 sisters and I have always been the heavy one. I want us to be able to take a picture together and me not stick out like a sore thumb. Venting venting sorry ladies. I wasn't like this last round.

On my first HCG try with the clinic it was one long continuous round with very short breaks - like 3 times if I had a long stall. Towards the end when I was within 10 pounds to goal I couldn't hardy stand it! I was ready for it to be over, was tired of the food and diet, the weight was barely moving any more so I really know what you are going through! Hang in there and good luck!!!

I remember doing Fat Flush years ago. Almost with tears in my eyes I'd think "I just can't do this anymore". And then I’d weigh in the next day and think "Well maybe another day won't be so bad".

Quick question please. Anyone done the plain fat free Greek yogurt in P2 & been successful ? I've been a little rogue in that I've been using coffee mate in my coffee and it hasn't affected my losses. I also have Coke Zero and Equal with no issues. I've been having all my food items including the bread sticks.

Today I just couldn't handle any of my protein choices. I just wanted that Greek yogurt so bad. I was hoping I could have it as an option when I have days like today.
