why exactly do you call it what you do. I guess to most strict protocol users we would be considered rogue because we mix our veggies, eat broccoli, zucchine, cauliflower, and some walden products. are we still allowed? lol
Oh boy are you welcome here !!! hahahaha ... rogue is the way to make it livable and for me it has worked!! I maintained pretty well for almost six months, but then I got little crazy hahaha...Now its time to get back at it!

decided to branch out after taking a tongue lashing on another forum for eating broccoli.

Tongue lashings are so unnecessary!!! I love the shiritaki noodles I have only used the the tofu ones...I like them, but definitely rinse with AC vinegar and then water....They help with the craving for pasta for sure

It helps to cook them a bit in the "sauce" you are using as well

Oh goodness WELCOME!!! We have fun here!
Okay a prime example of extreme roguishness is my craving for an ice cream...so since I am doing "fat fasting like" this time here is what I did...I will add that it is quite yummy and very filling on an EXTREMELY small amount...like 3 TBsps... I'll let you know how it affects losses :P ...oh and just to add, the only reason I started this is because I had popped two cans of coconut milk in the fridge for coconut mousse...only to realize I had bought the kind that had 6 grams of fat and there wasn't any fat separation, so I improvised...haha

2 cans of coconut milk
2 tbsps cocoa
1/3-1/2 cup xylitol
1.5 Tbsp peanut butter
Okay now is where I was getting dangerous...1 stick of butter
1/4 half and half
1/2 scoop of hormone /sugar free whey protein powder
1 tbsp cornstarch...
dash sea salt
Blend blend blend and then use Ice cream freezer according to directions. I have enough for a whole week!! My son said "mom this tastes like peanut butter balls" (aka buckeyes)

We will see tomorrow ...hahaha

thanks so much! I got confused for a minute.

Oh em gee that "ice cream" sounds so incredibly yummy!!!

For my roguish ways I eat frozen meals/canned soups at least once daily. I make sure each one is under 300 calories and try to keep the carbs/sodium in a reasonable level. (if the girls at the other forum knew this they would be coming after me with pitchforks. Just confessing this makes me feel naughty)

I hate thinking about food so I get what appeals at the time and when it is time to eat I pop it in the microwave, sit down with a tiny spoon, and eat very slowly LOL I like the variety without having to plan out all my meals. I lost 100 pounds doing this 5 years ago while under the supervision of a dr. Stupid dr gave no instruction on maintenance though so weight crept back up. Plus a short bout of depression when my army hubby was sent away for training immediately after coming back from a 15 mth tour in iraq really did a number on me.

Wow...I understand. If it works for you go for it. Stress alone can make you gain weight. We are thankful for men like your hubs. My brother in law did a tour in Iraq as well...saved the lives of several of his men, when he pulled his guys out of a truck that was overturned by IED explosion.. You can do this!!!

Hello ladies and welcome to the newbies!
I went to the pain dr today and I have to get steroid injections in my back on the 21st, then two weeks after that I get more. Then two weeks after that I get a Bursa injection in my hip. UGH! It was a long ride and when I got back I just wanted to lay down and sleep.
Tomorrow is the big day! VLCD1 here I come! I have my FF hot dogs, cottage cheese, eggs, broccoli..... I'm ready! I suppose I'll weigh and take a few measurements in the morning.
Have a good night!

Curious, why would you not interject?

The automatic subscription is what got me. I thought I had to specify and I couldn't find a spot to do that. I ended up unsubscribing and then re-subscribing to make sure lol

FF hot dogs? Is that fat free? Are they yummy?

Thanks for the hints Bee. So sprinkle on ACV and rinse?

I feel so bad for you guys. Where were you? I've heard other stories like this. Life is too short for that kind of behavior! Glad you found us And thank you to you and your Hub for your sacrifices!!

Girly Girl,
You've got too much great experience not to share. Just because you're not adding HCG to your roguish ways at the moment doesn't mean you haven't been there, done that. By all means interject.

No, ladies. I didn't mean it that way. I just said that because I like to do personals and on threads that are rapidly expanding, I just can't handle that anymore. I have multiple threads I participate in and it's very time-consuming. Since I'm not doing HCG, I decided to do more watching than posting. I hate feeling like I'm only posting about me. ME ME ME! (Toby Keith: "I wanna talk about me-E-ee!")

EmBee, thanks for lovin' me! I love y'all too. And I will interject, I just don't want to feel overwhelmed by all the posts and personals. Forgive me for keeping things less extensive.

Nite-nite! Off to bed now, if I can turn off Family Feud. I love Steve Harvey.

Tammy, not sure if I read your stuff on here or another thread but I'm really sorry to hear about all the shots that are up and coming. I only hope they make you feel better. Weight loss along with the shots are bound to make you feel much, much better.

Morning weigh in results are pretty decent!! Though I am sure my exercise class made the scale a little less than happy ... But this week down to 229.8 which is 1.6 for the week and 2 inches combined ...Since I loaded at Christmas up to 238 ..I have lost load weight and then some (8.2 pounds) ...since the beginning of my journey 262 down to 229.8 pounds (32.2 pounds) and 39.25 total inches...Not bragging, just encouraging ... Happy Friday everyone!
