Or will that just prolong the agony, as it were? This round could still pick up, after all... but then again, maybe accepting these losses and maintaining them and then doing a Round 3 might be better? Or at least yield better losses. lol I still have so far to go!!
hmmm that's a really your call. I think for me when I decide to extend or continue a round it's all about how I feel. When I extended my 3rd round I was really mentally & physically feeling it so it was easy to keep going. This last round I was feeling like total crap. I knew for me it was the right call to make. I always give myself a day or 2 when I think I am "over it" to then deciding it really is over & done with. Kind of like a cooling off period lol

My 2rd round I was done after 23 days but after a day or 2 I changed my min d & was able to make it to 33 days.
This is what I do and it works for me but there is something to be said for calling it done & moving on to P3 when it's a hard round & then start over when you're revving to go. How many days have you done ?

That does average to .5 a day which is what most women lose. Do you think you can make to 23 days ? If I were you I would try & make it to the minimum for a short week & then go to P3/P4 and do another round later on. From what I've read here & other forums lots of people lose weight doing short rounds. Long rounds aren't for everyone.

Good luck on whatever you decide. Everyone is here for you

I'm going 40 days because it is such a mental challenge to get back on p2. Each time its getting harder and harder for me.

Jeanyyy, I lost 32 1st round, 23 2nd round, and 22 3rd. So about the same. I did mostly 40-day rounds, one I cut slightly shorter like 35 days but don't remember whether 2nd 3rd or 4th which one right now.

If your head is in the game, go on. If not, end it when you've done the minimum.

Based on my two rounds, the days beyond weeks 3 or 4 are too slow to be worth it. As in very slow losses compared with the first 3 weeks. I'd rather get to P3 and do another round. Which is what I will probably do to get beyond my goal.

Dessert ideas for P3 with no almond/coconut flour or cream cheese

Any dessert P3 recipes ? I'd like to have a dessert that isn't an apple or some strawberries. But all I find call for almond or coconut flour or cream cheese. I don't add coconut flour or cream cheese until week 3 of P3. I tried to make the meringue cookies & it was a disaster. More like chocolate pancakes that taste like eggs

Any suggestions ?

I'm in AZ and can find full fat Trader Joe's GY or Voskos GY in my area. She would find it at Whole Foods, AJ's, Trader Joe's or Sprouts/Henry's if she has them.

Hi girls! Sorry I've been scarce lately. I took a break from the whole "diet" thing. And spending too much time on LCFs and online in general, was a problem for me too. I need to find a better balance and have been working on prioritizing my dd's education ahead of my online socialization! I'm feeling more balanced now so I'm dipping my toe back in. We'll see. I hope to be able to pop in and keep in touch w.o. shirking my responsibilities.

I've been eating whatever I feel like and the scale shows it! I have managed to get back into the gym which is a victory. But the eating has been bad!! I'm starting JUDDD today. I REALLY don't want to do another hcg round. I know it'll work, but I don't want to. Hopefully I'll be able to whittle back down without supreme sacrifice!!

Keep up the good work ladies!!

Somewhere in the recent P2 thread, I posted the best parts of Robin's advice on transitioning into P3 (you can do an advanced search). I have found that they take all the "crazy" out of this process. And there's a lot of crazy if you're not careful.
I found it and read it and read it and emailed it to myself so I can read it again. It is helpful. Thank you.
Also helping me keep the hunger scale mindset would be the horrible (TMI) IBS that I experienced afterwards. I am just grateful that my P3 spaz was sautéed spinach, scallops, homemade hot chocolate. Last year, it might have been pizza and red wine. I am coming along.

Oh, I did 2 loading days and then for P2, Day 0 through Day 20 (today) so technically that is 23 days at this point. That being said, I just took my measurements and am down another 4 " since the last time I took them on January 12th. So feeling rather more motivated at the moment I guess I'll stick with it and see how it goes.

I found mine at my local health food store..vitamin shoppe & gnc as well. I think whole foods might have it as well. Now I just add it to my order through netrition.com. I've also had the coconut vinegar & I find it really good for salads when I don't want the acv. Not as strong a taste.

I saw it at Sprouts but of you go to the website and click on the tab that says about Bragg you can seach by state.

Pandora~ theres an ice cream recipe in the recipe thread that I posted... you enclose two baggies with rock salt in between and fill the middle bag will heavy cream mashed strawberry and splenda and shake shake shake... and voila ice cream.

Day number 23 today and I'm down 1.8lbs this am. I skipped my veggie and just had fruit protein and breadstick. total for this round pre load was 18 lbs.
Not bad but torwards the end I lost my will to live lol. I need some food.

My vaseline experiment paid off, skin looks way better than last time. much more bouncy not as deflated. I forgot to put it on this morning and my hands look like..... here, lizzard, lizzard.

Morning !! P3D4 & up +.04 128 but still -.02 under ldw so a very happy girl. Counting my coconut water I am about 1600 cal or so which is not bad. I've had a slice of cheese, some greek yogurt & apple/strawberries every day + a salad or P2 veggies + protein & so far pretty good. Not really planning on adding anything extra today. Will maybe add a little variey to my cheese selection & see how that goes the rest of week. I am craving gouda cheese and queso fresco (but as a condiment not a meal like I used to before )

If all is ok by the weekend I'll have a 100 calorie pack of almonds & see how that goes.

I'm JUDDDing. I won't say that yesterday's DD was easy, it wasn't , but it's over!! Today is an UD and I will be LC and good. I think I can do this. I'm giving it a bit of time, and we'll see where I am. I hope it'll help me back to my 140's. I'm mid-150's today, so it's not that far away!

Have a happy Hump-day all!!

Just dropping in to say I'm still holding steady. I may not post every day. I find for me it's better not to get obsessive about my daily diet while in maintenance. Enjoying P3 and eating just enough to remove hunger. No issues so far!!!!

Keep up the good work, everyone!

Hey all! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Basketball is keeping me beyond busy! My weight had been rock steady at 126.0 which is 1.8 below LDW and then I got a stomach bug over the weekend. It dropped me to 122.6, so close to my goal I can almost touch it!

My sweet son will be sixteen in May so we just bought him his first car. He actually hugged me in public.

I've basically purchased an entire new wardrobe. Spent a fortune, but I deserve it. I know I may get smaller, but I can't imagine wearing a smaller size than I already am. I can't believe what fits. Wearing nothing but skinny jeans with boots (even tucked in) and fitted jackets and tops. Had dinner with a business associate last night who was freaking out over me. (45 lbs in about a year) So wonderful!

Today, I went for a spa massage with one of my gfs. It was to celebrate her bday. It was during last year's spa day that I made my mind up to do HCG and make the necessary changes in my life to better myself inside and out. I realized and it made me smile.
So I am about five days into P3. I am creeping up a little each day, but I am also introducing dairy and nuts so it is to be expected. I am not worried...yet. I just wanted to check in and say thanks to all of you for your support.

Hi, Lara!!

What vaseline experiment? Do tell !! I'm having trouble with very dry scalp... complete with flakes. I'm sure it is because of the "no fat" thing but not sure what to do about it. I just bought some Selsun Blue shampoo tonight so hoping that might help. I also noticed that my hands are looking really, really dry.

Usually by the end of a round my skin looks tired withered saggy but this time every morning and night I would slather myself in vaseline and im happy to say im more plump if you know what I mean... honestly I used conditioner the whole time an dI put it on my scalp.
Tea Tree shampoo with make the flakes go away. vaseline on the hands!!

My sweet son will be sixteen in May so we just bought him his first car. He actually hugged me in public.

Well, it finally happened: 1.2 gain.

I did absolutely nothing differently so I know this is just my body doing its thing. I did miss a fruit last night b/c I had a late dinner but I've done that before without incident. No crazy additional salt...no cheats, everything weighed and measured.

I was 160.4 yesterday and so excited about the possibility of being in the 150s today. I'm staying the course and will hope to see this spike up gone tomorrow.

This is where I have to take control over my thoughts and just relax. What diet have I ever been on that has had this quick a weight loss without hunger and some kind of consequence?! This is where remembering all of your posts about your own experiences really helps! I refuse to panic. At least not today!
