Lara, that bacon CD is divine. I mean, really. Nothing hard about it at all. I had like 800 calories of bacon (almost a pound!!!) and lost weight! 1.4 down. It probably would've been more but I wasn't that far out of window and I, um, added extra salt to my bacon LOL..... shhhhh..... and I prolly didn't drink enough water. I will do it slightly different next time. Maybe space it out more like meals and be done earlier in the day and drink more watah....

It was my birthday today, and it was actually scheduled correctly as an UD LOL. I went and had the remaining 2 pieces of bacon and a protein drink for breakfast, nothing for lunch, and then had applebee's ww 550 cal garlic sirloin dinner, 2 skinny mohitos, 1/3 of the creamy spinach/artichoke appetizer with celery sticks (I did snitch 2 tortilla chips!) and then when I got home I had a little red wine (cab) and 3 teensy gluten-free cupcakes and 6 little squares of super dark chocolate for dessert. Mmmmmmm. Nice up day if I do say so myself and NO LOSING CONTROL!!!!! 1800 cals, right in line for an UD.

If I had more bacon on me, I'd do it again tomorrow!
yay!!!! for your BDAY and yay for Bacon day!! amazing huh?

well I was down another pound, nice!!

but.... now I'm all stressed out cause my landlord wants to sell the house I'm renting so I have 2 months to find a new place. All I can say is thank goodness its almost tax time. I'm stressing. trying to relax but its hard.

Please Universe~~ bring a private kick ass charming house to rent to me soon. with a huge kitchen and enclosed parking and corrugated metal fence and good neighbors... a fireplace and gas stove with central air and heat and washer dryer hookups and a nice private back yard where I can entertain. =) amen.

Lara--I am rooting for you to find an awesome "right for you" house in the next 2 months, and not a day too late. I am eating bacon and sipping on coffee right now. Your CD rocks!!! I have to fight my dog off my food however---he loves bacon too

@Lara, I will add my prayers to yours! I'm doing a GY day today, it's a DD and it will end up being about 55% which is still a legal down day calorie level for me in maintenance and we'll see if this rotating CD's on my DD's gets me FIRMLY back in my window or not. I didn't weigh this morning after yesterday's Birthday celebrations, but at only 1800 cals I shouldn't have too much of a bump up anyways. I will weigh tomorrow again.

@Dawn, yay! for bacon CD! I think you will like it. I had nearly a pound LOL. Yesterday was my birthday. It was a great day and I have no regrets. Loving myself enough to keep in control was frosting on the mini-gluten-free cupcakes LOL!

My youngest son's birthday is on Sat. I want to enjoy eating out, but don't want the gain from it. I think I will take your cues and eat lightly----even at the restaurant. I can take the extra food home for another meal. Less cooking for me---I like that idea.

Hey girls! Just a quick pop in. Like cocoa I needed a bit of a break to re prioritize. Back to the gym, 3-4 days now, and getting my eating back under control. Still about 9 lbs up from where I want to be, but want to get back there w/o a round. If I can stay motivate I can do it. 9 weeks of Simeon's to lose 10 lbs, I hope to accomplish it w/ LC and exercise.

I'll bbl to catch up more!

I would also NOT combine bottles. I think the more the hcg is handled the more risk of them not working. But that is just me, I know that the hcg itself is very fragile. My advice.....keep them where they are and trust your instincts.
Thanks for your reply! I will keep the drops in their own bottles ...and take mine out of the fridge. I am a little confused about the storing, when I did my first round I was told to put the drops in the fridge and that all homeopathic liquids should be in the fridge, I was also told the opposite though so did both. When I was done my round I stored the remainder in the fridge. Also, I was told that to 'activate' the drops one needs to tap the bottom of the bottle (simulating a gentle shake) before taking the drops. ??? Anyone ever hear that? That's supposed to be the norm with any homeo. liquid I heard. I guess that might be a bad thing about being on a couple different forums...there's lots of conflicting info. I will be sticking to one forum from now on.

Yes, to the popping of the bottom of the bottle. I had to do that every time I took a dose. Annoying, yes, but so worth it! That was done to activate the hcg. Gentle shaking--not violent.

Hello hello!

Ever have one of those "wasted days"? Where you have every intention of being productive but you keep getting phone calls or having to answer questions or emails or having to drop everything for an impromptu meeting? Yeah, it's been like that today. <sigh> I've got 20 mins until my next meeting so thought I'd pop in and say hi. Weight is dropping down to a good place again. Almost 3.5 in the last 2 days which just goes to show exactly how much water one can retain when one (ME!) eats too many darn nuts! Delicious little suckers... I did a psuedo avocado cd Tuesday, skipped dinner last night in favor of a couple glasses of wine with the new guy (very nice), and was at 141.8 this morning, down from 145.1. Now we'll see how my body behaves with a big burger in me tonight!

Julie - MISSED YOU! Good to see your getting your priorities sorted out! You'll get there for sure!

C'Marie - Happy birthday (belated) to one of the biggest inspirations around! What would we do around here without you??? Hope you had a fantastic one and you are very well rewarded on the scale tomorrow!

Lara - You'll find the right house for YOU!

Dawn - Did you just get to P3? I think I am mixing up my days! Enjoy your bacon! I could easily eat 2 pounds of bacon myself. I think that would be my problem with the bacon day...

Bitsky - I too would activate my drops by tapping the bottom but unlike Dawn. I don't want to confuse you more but...I DID keep mine in the fridge. The time I took them out, they got deactivated but I think that was because of touching the dropper to my mouth. Never noticed an issue at all except for that one time. I might keep one in and one out???

Congrats on P3 & Happy b-day to your little guy ! Can't wait to join you soon in P3. This round is so hard I keep telling myself one more day & then another day. So far since I am losing I've been able to keep going but if I stall I really don't know Sometimes I wonder "why am I doing this for 3 or 5 lbs ?"

I'm so confused...I have been really shaking my drops...didn't know about the tapping thing. Also, how can you tell if you've deactivated them? We have another weird thing going on here. My DH and I are doing the exact same amount of drops but he takes them in 4 doses and I in three. He's mostly through his bottle! Mine is down 1/4 14 days in!

I'm still in P2...sorry for the thread jack but it's my first time on hCG and I want to make sure I do this drop thing right. Thanks!

Don't shake them! hCG is fragile. Tap gently. If you've deactivated them, you will be very hungry. That's the best way to know. On hubby's drops...he's obviously not counting them as well as you are! They don't evaporate...

One of the reasons I switched to pellets was I realized what I "thought" was a drop was too big. This happened to me my first round when I went through a large bottle super fast & then I realized I might be squeezing too much. This might be what is happening to your husband that his drops that he squeezes are larger than yours

I love the pellets because I feel I know am getting the right dose & so far I can tell I have more left than I did in my previous rounds with the drops. Just a thought

Thanks, Pandora! I'm also now worried b/c I have been shaking them. Wondering if they are even any good any more.

Thanks, Shelby... I hope they are not "dead" from my shaking... DH accidentally bought another brand that we can't return and I'm wondering if I should switch? I'm not hungry, per se, but don't want to damage my system by losing more muscle and not burning fat. What do you think? Have I ruined these drops?

Snacky things. I use these when I feel like having a snack:

Greek yogurt
cup of coffee with lots of cream
fat bombs (look here:
Fat Bombs, Where Have You Been All My Life? )
almost as good as these: Fudgey Peanut Butter Coconut Squares (Pic incl) I just sub out the almond butter. Have not used the peanut butter yet.
I love dips and need to make these : Almond Thins
my DD loves eating a babybel for a snack too.
These you may like: http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/cocoa_coated_walnuts.html she uses walnuts---but any nuts will do. Probably much better than those sf chocolate pecans from TJs for when you are in P3.

And here is her snack page:

dooy - I would continue using these drops unless and until you either have a major stall (5+ days) OR you find yourself really truly hungry. If you do, I would switch at that point. As long as you aren't hungry, the hCG is working the way it's supposed to and you aren't losing muscle.

Hi all

Hope everyone is doing well.

I am doing great! I have started back at the gym and feel really good. My energy level is definitely increasing. Luckily, I have not been too sore ...yet! I have done 2 Zumba classes, a Body Pump class, and 2x of elliptical for 10 minutes...and fixin' to leave for a Zumba class in a few minutes. I have noticed that already, I feel like my abs, tummy, and thighs feel tighter...so that is awesome. Between having TOM start early and lasting almost 3 days instead of my normal 2, and starting exercising...I was up 3.2 lbs. almost overnight (169.8), but I have lost 2 lbs. of it as of this morning (167.8). I figure anything in the 160's is good for me

Talk to you soon

Ok ladies I am officially calling it done and this round over I am drained, exhausted & miserable. I reached today 128.2 which is my lowest and 1 lb under last round and I wasn't even excited. I have never felt this tired in a round. I have zero energy and I feel sick (like palpitations, hair falling and just zoned out). I also realized I am chasing a number on the scale to win what race ? and at what cost ? My bmi is 22 I have lost 120 lbs and I realized I am miserable and feel ill today. I'm telling myself the important thing is I lost all my vacation gain and 3 extra pounds. I need to focus on stabilizing for a nice long while.

I kept wondering why I felt off the last few days. I have never felt physically ill in P2. I wonder if it's too much too fast this round. With vacation weight I have lost 26 lbs in 13 days !!! I think I need to re-prioritize this whole weight loss and trying to get to 125 or 120.

SO I always told myself I will listen to my body & I am. Considering today's weight of 128.2 ldw. Last pellets were at 11 am and will be in P3 48 hours later this Sunday. Today after work going to buy my P3 foods. Want to ease into the P3 eating and do what worked for me last time. Start with eggs, mayo, hwc and protein with some full fat dressing. Then will add a little cheese after a few days.

I have been strickly dieting for a year and I realize I got to my goal but after reading WLA I realized I have tied too much of who I think I am to the scale and pounds lost. First I wanted to have a healthy BMI (done), then reach 140
lb (done), then 130 (done) so I kept on lowering the number to then 125 ??

So I am going to put all that effort into P3/P4 and stabilizing and then healing my mind & body. I feel better now with this decision made but still drained

@pandora, are you ending early? If so, please be extra extra careful with your stabilization process. I know, I know, it's just my opinion and you feel free to discount and do what you feel is right for you. I just lurb you and want it to be good for you. You've done a rockin' good job and have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone or even yourself.
