I've stabilized quite well despite eating terribly for over a month while I was sick. The most I ever went up was about 6-7 pounds and it's back off again. I think my body is finally adjusting to being where I am. My skin is still changing every week.

YESSS my jeans that I brought for vacation would not close on day 3 of vacation Thank God I brought 4 pair if yoga pants which have been a life saver. On the funny side my hubby says I have some curves again & a booty when I was too bony before

You guys need to get some Citizens of Humanity Avedon stretch skinny jeans. They are the BEST, stretchy but they don't stretch out (which baffles me) and they feel like pajamas.

Pandora, the good news is you will lose it quickly. And you have lost SO MUCH. You are truly an inspiration.

I guess I'm the lone ranger around here with vacations. I just don't gain more than a couple pounds on them. I won't. I can't. I have found ways not to (or even to lose), thank God, because if I didn't, traveling would mean a life of dieting. For me, gaining more than a couple pounds during those times is like alcoholic having a couple drinks. Same with holidays. I've been working really hard in therapy and in my skype sessions w/ Robin W. to change my relationship with food during those times, and all times. I THINK I'm getting there. Just got another phenomenal blood lab back. It's about healthy living for me. A life of it.

Hi everyone
Nice losses for the New Year. I'm in with you all. Struggled deciding if I wanted to do another round. Deciding factor was my eyelid surgery is now scheduled for end of the month. My thinking it would be best to be at my lowest before the surgery for the best results.
So today is vlcd1. I will weigh in on Mondays each week. The daily fluctuations mess with me so, I'm not letting the scale rule my day

I do have the carb bloat and feel gross. 2 days of vlcd and I hope it's gone.

Off to restock my flavored waters and tea supplies and maybe a new pair of goal pants to keep me motivated. I love that everything in my closet now fits or is loose but that makes me too comfortable at times with my eating.

On vlcd 8 having a very hard time getting past my ldw from round 1 which was 165.9 I have been in the 166 ... for days! Going down but slow. Be glad when I break the set weight. I have lost 6.5lbs since loading and a slight gain week prior to christmas.

You were right, Dawn. I ate half an apple with lunch and dinner yesterday and I had no hunger pangs. I'm going to follow this plan again today as well as start learning how to track my sodium. I'm not making any changes to my sodium intake until I know how much I'm consuming.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you! You're doing really well! It's smart to not change your sodium (or anything, really) until you know where you're starting from.

Have a fantastic day!

I'm down another 1.2 this morning and had to weigh in about 2 hours early. I have an early appointment this morning I have to run to get to now or I'll be late. It's bitter cold outside right now, and I'm not looking forward to getting out in the cold! I'll try to check back in later either during lunch or tonight. Have a great day, everyone!

stalled yet again today. Or even up a fraction, too early to tell for sure.

This makes four days of either going up a hair, staying the same or going down just a hair (which wouldn't even register on a Simeons era scale). Typical for me after the first two weeks. And it sucks sucky suckerson.

I believe TOM is coming though, and that always packs on two pounds of water for me, lost as soon as its over. I hope that's it. I really, really do. It's too hard to live on 500 calories a day and not see results. And only in week three - come on! Oh, and I don't/won't do apple days, so please don't suggest one! A) even Simeons said they were for "purely psychological reasons," as in the water weight will eventually come off anyway, if that's what it is. B) I would be starving with all that fruit and nothing else - no thank you.

Yesterday I had my second apple at about 8pm, between dinner and bed. Maybe that prevented me from seeing a loss early this morning, but I don't think so. I've done it before.

Grrrrr.

I read somewhere that you could count a tomato as a vegetable or a fruit. Is this true? For example, at lunch could you eat a tomato soup w/ shrimp on a bed of greens if you skip the apple?

Yes, I do that. If I have no other veggie, I count the tomato as a veggie. If I have another veggie, I count it as a fruit. And I keep my calories at 500 or less.

I have done that. I will eat on occasion on P2 a chili made with ground beef, an onion, and tomato. In that meal the tomato I count as a fruit and the onion as my veggie. I love those chili days!! Gotta get me some ground beef tomorrow when I am at work. Don't have any lean here at home.

Me too. I am thinking egg drop soup for lunch. I hate being on P2 during the winter. It is already cold and being on P2 makes me colder and then it is harder to find good produce too. Come on summer.

Afternoon ! Took my first pellets today and will just eat like I've been eating the last week. Not going to weigh until Sunday morning then I start my vlcd1.

I feel ok I'm sure I'll be mad at myself big time on Sunday when I weigh in. I think I went wrong when I drank on Fri. and then binged. After I did that the next day I gained like 10 lbs and since I was going out town I should of just eaten clean for a day or 2 and the damage would not of been that bad but I didn't. What I did do was take laxatives which I am not proud of and it only made me sick to my stomach and didn't cause me to lose any weight. The last time I weighed it was like 16 lbs up !

So I put away the scale and will start eating P2 on Sunday and will do my 30 day round until I get to goal (anywhere in the low 120's). Will try not to beat myself up too much and I know for future vacations I can't let myself lose control like that. I've had such tight control of my eating and health, exercise etc that I just lost it big time but I have to get up, dust myself off and go forward. I guess that's the difference before there would just be continued eating and messing up.

Holy cow! According to your stats, you've lost an incredible amount of weight!! If you don't mind me asking, what round will this be for you?

This will be my 4th round. I lost the first 50 lbs through a weightloss clinic with appetite suppressants. The rest has been with hCHG.

I must learn the egg drop soup technique. Mine never turns out. I love it when someone else makes it though

This is the answer! You can see clearly how easy it is to fall into old, bad habits. Anyone who hasn't been where you (and I) have been wouldn't understand. It will be a lifelong struggle but worth every effort. Everybody responds to different programs and you will find a way to be happy and slim in one that fits you. I believe you can do it! Enjoy the last couple days of vacation!
