We shall see how close I can come lol. I am only 5 pds away from being back at my lowest ever adult weight! That is super exciting to me, I havent seen those numbers since 2009.

Keep up the good work everyone!!

Congratulations! It is exciting to have that "lowest number" so close! I'm right there with you hoping to complete 40 days on 2/18.

Hi all!

I have a question. I am R1P2VLCD7. I have absolutely NO appetite, no taste in my mouth for food. I am actually trying not to gag on it. Is this normal? I have been like this for about 3 days now

Here is my weightloss progress.
VLCD2- (-3.4)
VLCD3- (-1.2)
VLCD4- (-3.6)
VLCD5- (-2.6)
VLCD6- (-3.6)

Total loss so far -14.4. Needless to say I am THRILLED with my results. I weigh in the mid to low 200's so I am sure that has something to do with such big number losses. But I don't want to sabotage these losses with not eating enough.

All help is appreciated!

Thanks!
Shelle

I just discovered an amazing frying pan. I've usually cheated a bit, throwing a tsp of coconut oil in a pan to fry my talapia. I just purchased a green enamel fry pan by OrGreenic Kitchenware. It says you can cook without oil, butter or grease. I fried my fish tonight with NOTHING in the pan. Now I don't have to cheat when I fry my fish. I'm super excited.

Oh, I have always wondered if that pan was any good. My non-stick are all chipped and not looking so good. I cannot wait to get one of those. As soon as we can afford it, I will be getting one. Thanks for passing that along. Is that one you found in the store (like Walmart) or did you order online?

Hi Shelle,
Congratulations on your big weight loss! My first round I was not hungry at all, but did manage to get down the required food. Hope you can too.

I got it at Walmart today. I've been eyeing it for a couple of weeks and decided to just get the darn thing. It was $20.

Congrats to you! I've been really happy with this first round and will definitely do another. I have about 30 more pounds to lose but I really want to do this right - specifically P3 and P4. I've lost this weight more times than I care to admit but this time, I plan on keeping it off!

TOM! Yay me. Hopefully with this early arrival it doesn't sabatoge my final week in P2 for this round! I just have to remind myself to take it easy and stabilize for my next round. Can't win them all!

I know what you mean, last time I was this weight was 15 years ago. I almost lost this much 5 years ago, but due to a few things sabotaging my efforts, I regained that and then more. My total weight loss since last April is now at 73 pounds! I had been maintaining since August - so it is possible and you can do it! Whoohoo! It took a lot for me to start this round as I sure was enjoying my P3/P4 foods. I never did add back in breads or sugar. I told my sister I had a dream that I ate a whole loaf of bread...LOL

Up .3 today but not concerned since umm I didn't have a BM for a couple of days until after I weighed this morning.

Having barbecue beef made with ground beef and the P2 BBQ sauce, on lettuce leaves. Oh yum, I love this sauce!!

P2 BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup Tomato sauce (no salt or sugar added) (or puree fresh tomatoes)
4 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp Bragg's liquid amino
1 tsp Dijon Mustard (Golden's spicy brown has no sugar)
1 tsp Liquid Smoke*
1 tsp Chili powder
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
2 pkgs (2g) stevia
1/8 tsp Salt

Directions

Simmer all ingredients at a medium low heat for 15-30 minutes.

Tastes great with chicken and steak.

I saute up some ground beef with a bit of onion and garlic, then when it's cooked, I throw in a couple of spoonsful of the above BBQ sauce.

Hi everyone! Thank you Jeanyyy for the BBQ sauce recipe! It looks great and I think I will make some this afternoon. I am making puppy treats for my furkids so I will be spending some time in the kitchen today. I made some tomato soup yesterday from some roasted plum tomatoes yesterday but was quite disappointed. It tasted so bland. Used a recipe from Ina garden but subbed the P2 ingredients (i.e. onion powder for onion) but used real garlic, no sugar chicken broth(my own), salt, pepper and the spices the recipe called for. Can't understand why. DH thinks it was because the garlic and onion was sauteed in olive oil on the other recipe, and the roasted tomatoes were also roasted in olive oil. Can't believe olive oil could add that much flavor. Oh well...there's always another day.

I also roasted some cabbage slices. I did "cheat" and brushed the tops of the slices with a bit of coconut oil(less than a tbl I am sure) then hit with sea salt and fresh ground pepper...at 400 for 35 minutes, and it was really good, if you like cabbage that is.

I am finally back to losing...lost about 3 the last three days, so my total is 12.2 on P2D21. I mixed a fresh hcg two days ago and the vial seems fuller than last time. I wonder if I added too much bac water. The vial I mixed the hcg with stated 10ml which is what I mix my Gonakor with to get the 125 units I inject. Hmmmm.

Congrats to all of our losers! I look forward to reading your posts everyday...it keeps me on the straight and narrow plus encourages me to share.

Dennise,

My boyfriend and I were talki g about the hcg meals we've been eating. He is not doing hcg, but he eats the same dinner as I do in solidarity. We are both above average cooks but our meals always come out tasting a bit bland. We decided its due to a lack if complexity. It's not just flavours that are missing, it's the mouthfeel added by oil. It can be challenging to get developed and balanced flavour profiles. Still, we are enjoying the challenge.

My good news is I lost another 1.4! This is VLCD 8 and I'm down 8.2.

Totally agree about the mouth feel. That's why we tried chopping/pulsing the cabbage in the blender just to give some different textures to the otherwise raw/steamed veggies and grilled meats. Today I cook tomatoes in broth did a very spicy ground beef and combined them over raw spinach. It just wilted enough to be wonderful! I know I'm only supposed to have one veggies but on the weekends we splurge! My DH is doing HCG with me so it has been easier!

Congrats on the lost weight, too!

Down 0.7 to 13.8 lbs as of R2P2D25, so still averaging a bit over .5 lbs per day. 34 lbs since I started with HCG (17 weeks, including 6 weeks of P3/P4 over Christmas and New Year). Can't complain about that!!

Shelle, do you mean you literally are not eating? I would at least try to get down some protein. Your body does need fuel, and not all of it can come from your fat stores. Could you try some eggwhites or something easier to get down?

I had success with Intermountain in the past!

This time, I decided to give the prescription a whirl since it was finally available to me legally here in Vancouver. There are a few clinics in Burnaby that specialize.

Yes, one in New West, too, I think. And covered by MSP, right? I figured if it worked on my own, that would save me having to go to a clinic

It's definitely a pain trucking out there once a week, but I needed the accountability. I'll probably do the next round on my own, after I get them to write me a prescription! :P

Shelle, I can't even imagine that feeling, but I do worry that you need some calories. Are you doing RX or homeopathic? Is there a doctor involved?

I wish it were like for me. No chance.

Yup, they give you a 6 preloaded syringes and they give you one when you come in. There is no way I would be able to go in every day!

Yay Cindy

Well, I did it. I am back on and so far so good Only 1 day so far, but I can do this. I was going to pick up Weds when my Mom left, but she cancelled her trip here. So I figure why wait??? I cannot wait to get the losses going once again.

Shelle--never had that problem so cannot speak of it. Sorry you are feeling this way. We tell people who don't "want" to eat, or feel a need to eat, to at least get in the protein. You don't want your muscles to be gone when you are done. Find something you can tolerate and stick with that.
