HI,
I am on day 11 of vlcd and things are going really well thus far! I havent drank any booze and have said no to plenty of things I shouldnt be eating. Im gonna have to buy new pants soon, all mine are getting too big, thats not a bad problem to have though lol. Looks like most everyone is moving to phase 3, I wont be heading there till around Valentines Day. Doing a 40 day round. Motivation and preparation are key to success! Kelly |

![]() Food is getting a little boring so I need to change things up a bit. I'm so sick of chicken and shrimp. I bought some crab tonight. Expensive but worth the treat. Definitely having steak this weekend. Anybody have any menu ideas for P2? For thrills I measured my thighs tonight and I lost 1.5 inches already! I was totally shocked!! The "fat pants" I bought on Jan 1 are hanging off me and I'm thrilled! ![]() Still a long way to go but one day at a time.

Sumeto, you are to gradually add back in a carb here and a carb there (VERY SLOWLY, one thing at a time, maybe do the same carb, like a half a serving of sweet potato or rice, do it two days, see how you react) in P4, which follows P3. After you do 3 weeks of that, then you go back to P2.
Some people do go right from three weeks of P3 back to P2. I do not recommend it. |

Good Morning! This is my first check in this week. A little discouraged this morning, VLCD 22 because this is the 3rd morning in a row I'm stuck at 159.6
Even though I'm doing a 40 day round, I don't see how I'll reach my goal of -30 lb at this rate. |

Morning ! R4P2D12 & down -1.0 to 128.8
So I have passed my 2nd goal of getting past my last ldw and almost at my 3rd goal of going lower than my lowest weight last round 128.4 after I meet that 3rd goal then just want to get to 125 !Hanging in there & I finished WLA which was really good. I am trying to identify the hunger signals in P2 so I can use them in P3/P4. I also realize that it's normal the thinner you are to be more hungry which makes sense now since we have less fat reserves. I just don't think I can do not weighing in or not counting calories like she advocates. Maybe at some point in the future after I am very stable for a while I hope to get there. But I think what works for me is like I did last P3/P4 which was my food diary so I knew my percentanges (fat/carb/protein) & not necessarily because I was limiting calories (which I wasn't) but give up the scale ![]() Can't wait to be done with this round & can head into P3 !!! I miss my good fats so bad ![]() |

Don't do this to yourself! Your body will lose how and how much it wants to. If you get to 20 pounds or 15 that's quicker than ANY other diet around. Stressing will make you hold on to the weight. Relax, put the scale away for a day or so, measure yourself, take a bubble bath. You will do GREAT! |

Good Morning Girls,
I was down another pd this morning Someone asked about phase 2 meal suggestions to mix it up a lil: I have been boiling cabbage along with like turkey kielbasa or turkey dogs, also you can make phase 2 chili with hamburger and stewed tomatoes, I ate that a bunch on my first round, its super good. Sure beats chicken and shrimp. I have also been grilling tilapia filets and sprinkle just a tiny bit of parm cheese on top, I know thats not on the list, but it sure adds flavor and a lil tiny bit hasnt seem to affected me in the least. I also mix up tuna salad and put over fresh spinach. Kelly |

A bubble bath is EXACTLY what's on the agenda this evening. And you are SO right...there's absolutely no other diet that I could have lost 16 lb on in 22 days. Therefore, I WILL NOT stress anymore ![]() Have a great evening |

Yay, hcg drops FINALLY showed up today, ok so it wasn't that long (11 days) since i ordered them, just once i set my mind to doing something i want to start NOW! So making today day 1 of loading. Most of you it seems are getting close to being done or in the middle of your rounds. This is the first time i've tried it so i only ordered the shorter round. Need to make sure its doable for me before i invest too much. Wish me luck, i've not lost anything on low carb in quite some time so need to change things up!

Scale has re-started moving downward - VLCD 16, down 11.2 lbs. :-) Heading towards my previous low, only 3 lbs to go to get to that - virgin territory is in sight! :-)
Now if I can just get over this nasty head cold, it would be terrific! :-P tscateh! |

Thanks Marie.
Surgery went well. He had to have some ligaments replaced in his knee. Recovery will be long. He's been pretty good about the whole thing but I've been running for him. The surgery could not be done in our city so we are a long way from home. Hiways have been closed because of storming so we are kind of stranded. Hoping to make it home tomorrow if the Hiway opens up. A 5 hour drive might double though ![]() On the weight loss plan side of things I think it has been going well. I didn't bring a scale with me but my clothes are getting a lot looser! I'm a little holed up so spending lots of time drinking water and heading for the bathroom. I can't wait to get home to weigh. Only 2 weeks left of vlcd. Hoping to lose 10 more! Just gotta stick to the plan! Good to see everyone is hanging in there |

Hi everyone. I'm checking in cuz I start loading tomorrow!!! I'm planning on loading for three days this time. I hope I don't gain too much.
I haven't decided what kind of hcg I will use this round. I have rx, pellets and drops. Heehee. I will probably start with the Rx cuz I don't want it to get old on me. I'm real excited to get this round going but a little bummed because some of us on another thread are having a hard time sticking with the VLCD's. if I do well, that's all the encouragement I need. It's easy for me since I don't have much of an appetite and also hard for me because I don't like all of the low fat food. Lets hope for the best!! |

I'm up .2 this morning with no change in diet. Had to happen eventually, I guess. I know in my head this isn't a big deal. Down 9.8 in 15 days and was really hoping for more. Not giving up and I realize that my body fat is shifting around and needs some time to catch up, etc. etc. Just hard going into the weekend and feeling so dang bored with the same old food. We are going out Sat. night to a steak house with friends (can't get out of it) and I had planned to only eat veggies for lunch so I could actually have a petite filet (8oz although I probably wouldn't finish it at this rate) for dinner. I was not going to weigh the next day knowing I'd probably have a pop up in the scale. Now I'm really scared to do that. Gonna just keep on track today and not sabotage myself with stupid thoughts. This is working. This will continue to work. Right? ![]() |

Morning Ladies ! R4P2D13 & down -.06 to 128.2 ! Can't wait to get to 125 though next week my tom is scheduled to come unless it's late. Let's see what damage it does but after I always have a nice whoosh so we'll see.
Hanging in there, one day at a time. I have learned alot this round and though almost every day it seems I want to call it quits I just tell myself to make it a little further & the next day seems to roll around. Though I am not kidding myself I have had losses every single day so that helps ALOT. Happy Friday everyone ! Happy Releases ![]() |
