Ladies, I gotta say this. Don't underestimate the stall that TOM can cause! Because now that my TOM is done done (along w/ the havoc it wreaked on week 3), my fourth week is back on track!

pre-load weight - 155ish (didn't have my scale)
12/17 - VLCD1 155.9 (gained .9 from load)
12/18 - VLCD2 154 (lost 1.9 total, -1 lb from pre-load)
12/19 - VLCD3 152.5 -1.5 (down 2.5 from pre-load)
12/20 - VLCD4 151.9 -.6 (down 3.1 lb from pre-load)

Hi all

Just checking in....

Well, I am on VLCD8 with a loss of 11 lbs. & weighed in at 167.4 I am technically -.6 below what I am allowed for TOPS...so I think this is a good resting spot. I am so surprised that it came off this quickly...I figured it would take about 2 weeks, then doing a week of adjusted calories...surprise!!!

I am going to be very rogue...I know some won't agree with me, but I am going to do a 3 day FF starting tomorrow as my last dose day, and 2 more FF days Sun. & Mon. (just like last time...it worked beautifully)...then on to Mod. Carb? JUDDD on Tues. I will report and let you all know how I do.

My last dose will be tomorrow (9 days instead of 21)...I'm going off the hHCG!!! I'm going to test it & see. I think it will be okay. I have talked to others who have had to abort hHCG for different reasons before the 21 days, and surprisingly, some were able to maintain w/i a few lbs. if they worked it until they could re-start hHCG later when they were ready...so that does tell me it is possible. My P3 will be JUDDD...just like I did Thanksgiving thru New Years. I am going to have my carbs as more starchy veggies, etc. I'm planning on staying away from the grains/starches for a month or so...which I believe causes me issues.

Good Morning Everyone!

I wasnt able to weigh in this morning because I stayed over at my bfs house last night, so I will check in the morning and see where I am! Im hoping I will be super close to 179 in the AM.

I am a lil worried thoguh cause last night I ate dinner so late cause we went to the gym. Thats also something I havent really done while on the HCG, I know they say dont work out while on it if you werent working out before. I just made sure I didnt burn many calories. I rode the bike for like 20 mins at a mellow pace and then walked on the treadmill for 20 mins, so all in all I think I burned only like 120 calories it said. Hopefully that wont affect me negatively.

Does anyone else workout while dosing?

Im glad its Friday and looking forward to a few days off work, although it seems like I dont lose as well on the weekends, but I dont feel like I do much differently eating wise, but not sure.

Gotcha Thanks for clarifying. I will watching your progress. I am very anxious to see if you make queen. I think you will remember I made you queen of hcg already, so why not TOPS too Good luck in that competition!!!

I have been working out while on P2, but i had worked out before hand. I do 30 minutes on my elliptical every day. I am on vlcd10 and down 13.8lbs.

I survived my really long day yesterday. I didn't do a vlcd and didn't drink enough water. I did however do a fat fast and lose .5. I know it could have been more if I had access to more water and bathroom breaks, but all in all it was a pretty good day. My tummy is a little upset from the fat intake and lack of water. Focusing on making the feel better today. I am supposed to do 3 days of fat fasting but not a chance! I'll consider it a reload half way-ish through my round and continue on protocol.

Next hurdle is in-laws making a surprise 2 week visit starting this weekend. They cannot find out about my hcg and I'm not sitting down and having a glass of wine with my MIL every night like she wants! She makes the best fudge in the world and I think I'll hide the ingredients, haha! I just won't have any, I do have some self-control after all, right? I will make this work somehow. She has not seen me in quite sometime so she will be shocked by my current weightloss, then concerned by how I am eating so little. It's going to be tricky and I don't have a lot of time to figure it out, ACK!!!!

I don't have time to think about it because I'm off to work now. I'm going to go drown my sorrows in a pitcher of water!

I was freaking over one restaurant dinner! Good luck! As for drinking wine every night, tell her that it gives you a headache. Then, be really good company regardless of drinking. The other night, my husband split a bottle of wine with our dinner guest. It was a role reversal. I thanked him for taking one for the team.

five, how did that restaurant dinner go? Did I miss that?

I second the "wine's been giving me headaches" idea. Guys, remember, nobody can force you to consume anything you don't want to. This is about you, not them. You can do it!

I weighed too damn early again. My loss from yesterday is actually 1.1 pounds!!! I'll correct in my log tomorrow. But man, thank you TOM magic!

This fourth week is turning out to be better than week four of my first round. I wish I had it in me to do 5 weeks, but I just know that I don't.

The restaurant dinner party with the ladies of the italian side of my family (inlaws) is tomorrow! I am going with "stomach trouble" and "maybe food sensitivities." I'll be friendly and a good guest. I will eat some broiled scallops sans sauce and call it a day. Thanks for the support.

VLCD 16 and down a total of 14 lb from pre-load. I've been doing so good staying on protocol but broke this evening. I've swapped 110 calories for 2 55 calorie beers

A sophomore student was found dead in our school's gym today mid morning and its been a very stressful and emotional day for all involved. The death is being treated as a homicide and that's very unnerving given all of the recent sad events in the schools around this country.

I know my decision to swap out is a poor one, but I've got to release this tension somehow.

Anyone not believe the number on the scale so they weigh again and its something different....I just did this three times...now I dont know which number to go by. I was 188.6 yesterday.....I got 186.6 and then 187 and then 187.2. Why do I do this!!!!

What a shock! I hope your beers were in the company of fellow teachers or someone to help you deal. Sadly, this will pass. Hang in there. Don't let this stress derail you.

It is unbelievable. What is the world coming to? I am sorry.

Wow Liv, that's so scary, I'm sorry to hear about your fellow student. Life is precious isnt it. Be good to you, stay strong. I know how you feel because my ex died last May and I had just started a round. so hard to stay on track but I did it. You can do it too.

I'm at 197.0 for 3rd day in a row, but I feel like it's a win, as we went out for a very fancy dinner last night, and I ate everything until my stomach would NOT take any more! But drank lots of water - got my 80-100 oz in, I think - slept very well and a ful 8 hours, which I've discovered helps me a lot.

So sorry to hear about the student death. :-(

Morning !! Yesterday I was mentally drained, very long week. Today woke up to a -2.0 loss bringing me to 133.4. I am now 2.4 from pre-vacation weight. I think I am so drained because this week I've lost 20.6 I've never lost that much in any round first week so it would explain how tired I am since my body is working extra extra hard.

I am on day on day 7 of the vlcd so I am hopeful that I can wrap this up in 23days as I would like to be 125 when I wrap this round up. Secretly I always would like to be 120 but I need to see how I look & feel at 125 since I tend to get very narrow and the bones in my neck, arms, hands are pronounced so I'm beginning to think 120 for me might not be such a good look

Anyway today after my mani/pedi (which I've been doing for the last 2 years every 2 weeks or so) coming home to relax, watch movies and try to de stress a little.

I've noticed I "need" to take my detox bath every night. I put a small amount of Epsom salt/baking soda but I add other salts etc and it seems to help me relax and I when I step on the scale before & after I see a difference. Don't know if it is "real" in the morning but at night it helps mentally since that is my hardest time for some reason.

Eek! So I've been doing awesome--consistently losing a pound each day--I've eaten strictly protocol, 2 liters of water yada yada...and this morning I gained 1.2! Is this normal? Does this happen? I'm only on vlcd 14/40 and kind if freaking out.

Thank you, Ladies, for your kind words. My heart breaks for the family and friends of the student.

I woke up to a 0.2 pound loss this morning. Considering my cave in yesterday, I'm pretty happy with the loss. I'm back on track with my diet today and the 80 degree weather is begging me to go outside.

Hi all

I am at 166.6 lbs. this morning with a loss of 1 lb. overnight. I definitely at this point have to go into maintenance mode now. Sometimes I really wish that I didn't have TOPS to worry about. I really would have liked to see how low I could go...seems my body is STILL willing to release fat. So...my LDW is 166.6, which will be a good set point since I need to weigh at TOPS no less than 168 in the evening.

Today is last dose FF...then 2 more FF days, then on to JUDDD I'm ready for fat today!!!

I'll move over to the P3 thread, but still keep ya'll updated. Maintenance for me requires more work than P2...but I do enjoy JUDDD food better Gotta get used to it...this is my new life now

I'm checking in. Not weighing. I didn't cheat and am feeling really good about protocol but I'm too attached to the scale. I'd rather weigh once a week now so I'm only weighing in on Mondays. My first round I didn't weigh everyday and that worked just fine for me. Let's face it, if the scale is up, down or the same, I'm not changing a thing. I'm only eating what I'm supposed to and nothing more, if anything sometimes less. I hope this will be more encouraging if not at least less stress of whether I weighed too early or waited too long.

Guess I should go prepare things for the inlaws who arrive tomorrow!

I'm up a little today (I guess I should've counted my earlier weigh in yesterday and not the 1.1 loss later). I wish I'd made yesterday my last injection, but I went and injected this morning. I have one syringe left (will make it 28 days). We'll see how I feel. I won't get to 140 but damn near close. And last time I stabilized a couple pounds above LIW, which Robin W. told me is very common. So I'm REALLY tempted to do one more 21 day round and get into the 130's. Never ever would have dreamed of that without HCG. But I'm already wearing 27's and 28's in jeans - like a dream come true. The last time I weighed this amount I was definitely bigger than I am now.

I really feel like this round was also all fat. Everything just fits better and better.

Who knows... it may take my tummy tuck and losing that horrible baggy flap of skin (and fat) to really see where I am. The doc said he doesn't think I NEED to lose any more, but if I lost a few more after surgery it wouldn't hurt a thing. Hmmmm.
