Good morning everyone! Wow, everyone seems to be doing great! I am R4D4 and am down 5. Remarkably I did not gain on load days, so weird!! Not stellar, and I did have a uptick this morning, but I know that this is just not going to the bathroom which will hopefully be taken care of with a cup of smooth move tea this evening. My normal jeans which had been cutting me a bit in the waist, are now comforable so I know that I am getting rid of this bloated feeling.
I agree about having to re-lose the same pounds,it is a bit of a downer. But I just gotta say, while on our cruise, that chocolate martini I had in the lounge with my hubby on "formal" night was SO worth it! DH knew that I just loved those from our last cruise and he ordered it "for" me while I was freshening up in the ladies room. I was so touched, silly I know...It was like we were the couple in the cruise ads...it was just a great time. Sometimes I just have to let go and do something I normally would not do, like that martini. I will always have a piece of birthday cake on my birthday and will always have some treats at Christmas. I just have to monitor myself and not get out of control. Have a great day!

LOVE all the positive thinking on this thread. I so so need it. I'm right there with you all re-losing the same pounds. It is easy for me to get discouraged. I just started TOM early for some bizarre reason, so that's giving me even more reason to get down. But I must keep it positive, or I will go over the P2 edge!
I usually gain 3-4 pounds with TOM, so I'm going to stay away from the scale for a few days. Just have to focus on getting through this meal...and then the next and not get too far ahead of myself! Is it just me or when you are re-losing weight, does it feel like as soon as you start P2 again you should immediately be back in your skinny jeans? It's probably just me, but after two days of VLCD yesterday I decided to try on my favorite size 6 jeans thinking somehow they would fit better...uh NO. Delusional. LOL. Oh well...just keeping taking steps in the right direction. |

Today is my VLCD15, -1. I am pretty hungry today. I feel like I have the "every other day" thing going on where I am focused and productive one day and not so much the next. I am going to have to be careful today with timing drop dosages and spacing out my food.
I am going to try and keep up with a nightly detox bath, cranberry tea and natural calm as a nightly ritual until the end of my short round. I am hoping that is the formula for getting the most out of the round without doing anything off protocol or drastic. Cloth, congrats on the 2.6! Have a great day! |

About the detox bath, I must do mine incredibly too hot because I can hardly stand it and feel like I'm going to pass out and then have a detox headache the rest of the night and sometimes the next day! Do you all make it as hot as you can stand...or just like a nice warm bath?

Pandora , Wow!! Five days and you're down fifteen or sixteen lbs? I know it was newly gained weight, but still, that's amazing! That's a good testimonial for why we should never let a weight gain get out of hand. Had you not started back on the protocol so soon, the weight would have stayed with you and be harder to lose later on.
marion , welcome and good luck with your round. I can't stay in the hot detox bath too long either. I like a nice warm one so much better. I've been bringing my ipad and propping it up so I can watch TV on it while I'm in the bath. That helps me stay in the tub longer. |

HI All,
I am on day 7 today and I am down 5 pds thus far. Im looking forward to breaking into the 170s! If I can keep losing a pd a day which I have been everyday after my 2 days of loading, then that would mean I will se 179 on Monday!! That is giving me serious motivation to keep things on plan this weekend. I have a night out with my gfs tomorrow night and then 2 bday parties this weekend, so there will be serious temptation. I found a lil trick that I use, I convince myself that the items are covered in mold and maggots and gross myself out so bad that I dont want to touch it lol. I know it seems weird, but hey we have to find lil tricks that work! So here is to saying no to booze and bday cake this weekend Keep up the good work everyone!! Kelly |

Had my first real challenge today. Had a work-related lunch I couldn't postpone or get out of so we went to a Thai restaurant and I order steamed chicken. The veggie choices were not great so I got broccoli. Looked like less than 4 oz because it was very thinly sliced. Didn't have my apple or breadstick just in case. Not hungry at all so I didn't think it was a problem. Getting the water in, too. Felt good not to compromise!

Down 0.6 lbs today to 8.2 lost as of R2P2D8
Had to go to the bank today to re-do my mortgage and it took WAY longer than anticipated so I'm short of work hours now... *grumble*. Oh well, I'll catch up |

BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN...
Hello ladies, I am getting ready to do another round of HCG. I did my first round in 2011 and I did well, unforutnately i wasnt able to complete my first round due to some unexpected travel. Then a family tragedy and I just couldnt get my mind right. I am sure you all will agree if your mind isnt in the right place, no diet or plan works. So here I am finding myself ready to begin again. I have 30days free and clear so I can do P1-4. I am excited and ready to go. Would love some encouraging company along the way. From reading the post so far, i think i have found the right place!

Thanks for the welcome Darlin. I just order my hcg from healing power within. I feel like its official when I get it in the mail. I made a two week grocery list. I need some potassium which i will have to order now. I have some tulsi and hibiscus tea ready and waiting. Oh, and i have some yerba mate too. I thought someone was mentioning constipation...dandelion tea is great for that!!!

I just found this site. Finally, people who don't think hcg is crazy stuff!
I average about 1 lb. per day down. I do better when I drink my water, but sure haven't been thirsty lately, which makes it harder... tscateh! ![]() |

OK, finished my first full week with a good, clean, no-cheats plan. Lost 5.6lbs. 33 days to go!
![]() Seems so puny when compared to what I need to lose (45lbs) but I will take it! Hardest part is turning down invitations from friends. My DH is really want to hang out with this couple tonight and I'd like to, but will NOT budge off plan. Trying to find a place with steamed fish/veggies. It feels stressful, yet I know these are the situations (and feelings) I need to learn to manage. FOOD does not control MEEEEE! I control IT. right? ![]()

R4P2D6 & down -2.2 to 135.4.
Best part I fit in my skinny jeans again That made it all worth while ! A part of me is still just taking it one day at a time and who knows maybe I will make it to a 30 day round and try to get to 120. I just really don't want to make this one stick. |

Can I just say that I don't know when it happened, but according to the BMI calculator my weight is in the "normal" category? And given that I'm 55 and put my body through (nearly) 3 pregnancies, that makes me pretty durn happy!

TGIF!
Happy Friday all - well, no loss today, but I'm pretty sure that's because I haven't had much water lately. Concentrating hard on that today! And trying to figure out how to navigate my restaurant night tonight (going out with friends before a concert). I'm thinking salad (with vinegar or lemon juice), steamed veggies and some simply prepared beef will keep me on the straight-n-narrow. We'll see!
