The ALL phases thread! :)

Our previous thread was shut down due to size - here's the new one!

Who all is with us and what phase are you currently in?
What is your goal?

I'm in phase 3 right now, planning on starting a round with VLCD1 on January 1st. I stabilized a little higher than I'd like and am going to try to get down a little more in hopes for better stabilization.

I want to post these while I know how LOL. This is the first day I took my pellets for this latest round while at my DD and DSs' piano recital. My daughter is 11 AND less than 2 inches shorter than me! Yes, she will be much taller than her mama real soon LOL. Not looking forward to that. Let me try this here:

Hi Gang
So happy to find our thread again
Thanks Ms Latte for starting it.I was shocked to see our other one was shut down.My first thought was OH NO! Now what????

I am in PH4 of rnd 3. I go to PH2 the second week of January.

Jeannette...
My steak cd gave me a 3.2lb loss
BUT however our Pastor and his wife has invited us out to eat at our favorite restaurant tonight. But I have not eaten all day except for a few pieces of ham. So my intentions are to have a meat and veggie meal or taco salad.Tomorrow is another CD day.Got to get this off before we go to Wichita for Christmas!!

DAWN
WOW you are so skinny. I can't believe you still are trying to lose weight.
No wonder it is so hard for you to loose your body is so thin now.BUT we all have to be where we are comfortable.

I will be doing PH2 rnd 4 in Jan.You had ask on another post on the old thread and I didn't get to answer.

Hello to Marie, Angela, Julie and everyone else.

Dawn - Lovely looking ladies!! (Did you notice the deer looking at your DD's tookus? lol, sorry.. not sure why I noticed that!) Beauty! I agree with Berta - skinny minnie

Berta - Looks like we'll be P2 buddies! My VLCD1 will be on 1/1. Congrats on your nice release from the steak day!

I did a GYCD and went down ~1.8ish which was nice! I always have some extra lbs from mountain/snowboarding weekends, I really wish that didn't happen but I'm not sure what I could change. Today was a weird day food wise, I was really hungry and lots of cravings, it's not TOM, I'm drinking lots of water.. not sure. Had some voskos, eggs with beef and dinner was some zoodles with alfredo and tomatoes.

I'm looking forward to Friday because it's the start of some time off!!! My last day of work this year is on Thursday the 20th then I come back on the 2nd. I'll finally have time to keep up with everyone!

Good morning ladies! WTG Amy, Dawn and Berta...

Wish we knew the thread was closing and we could've sent a link to here at the end.

Berta, so excited for you, great loss!

I'm in PH4 until February 1st (20 weeks between Rounds 4 & 5). I will begin Round 5 in about 6 weeks.

I'm 157.5 so YAY! I lost 3.5 from my CD yesterday, which was 4 cups of coffee with 2 T of cream in each, and napoles (cactus) sauteed in bacon grease with smoked turkey along with coconut butter mixed with pecans and sf chocolate chips. Down 3.5 so excited. Now to get 2 more pounds off in the next 4 days...

Jeanette

I'm back up again, fighting these 1.75ish pounds for a while now. Chicken thighs today and coffee with cream, hopefully it works!

Hi girls!! That explains the old thread!!

Glad to see you all!

I'm in P4, day 100+ I'm working on getting back down into the 140's right now. With all the baking and eating I've been doing, I'm happy to be at152!! I've been really enjoying myself, but I need to get back in the proper decade. I'm still on the fence about another round. I'm tempted, but I also think I can drop this 5lbs w/o extreme dieting. I need to figure out how to lose/maintain w.o. jumping on another round, KWIM?

Dawn-you are tiny!! And no smiles? Really Are you and dd matching for the recital? Very cute!! My dd is 12 and a few inches shorter than me. I'm really hoping she gets a big growth spurt! She's a volleyball player so height would be a real bonus!! Time will tell. How's your round going? You look good!

Amy-sounds like you're maintaining well! Good for you!!

Berta-you're doing great. Enjoy your dinner out

Jeanette-WTG!! You've done great!! You're almost back where you want to be, you'll get there!!

I'm plugging away. I'm off for a walk, and then gonna' make some eggs for lunch. finished some tuna salad for bfast (just a few bites left). I'll see what the day brings .

You look lovely Dawn!! And that is your DD? She is stunning. Just a real beauty!

I am doing well on the high fat, low protein right now. Since I didn't come home from Germany like a stuffed sausage, I feel really good knowing I am not over eating this season. Come the New Year, I may do a new round but not 100% sure. Praying on it actually. I did hurt my arm at the end of the trip abroad but finally feeling able to increase my workouts. Phew! That was a bummer. Technically I am in P4 but I am eating P3 with very few indulgences.

Will be curious as to who is doing what come the new year

Thanks Amy! I was pretty jazzed myself!

Dawn, you are tiny...I meant to say that, a real cutie! Julie, I would NOT do another round for 5 pounds! Seriously, you can do this!

Hang in there Stevie, sorry about your hurt arm...prayer is a great way to go, as Julie's sig line says, Prov. 3:5-6 - "He shall direct (my) paths".

Hugs ya'll!

Down 2.4 this morning (VLCD2)! Very happy and far less hungry than my first round. So I'm not redundant, more statistics and comparisons with my first round are in the P2 thread.

Meanwhile, re-reading P&I for the umteenth time, it's amazing how new things shout out at you. I think this may apply to many of us, and we need to remember:

When abnormal fat is no longer being put into circulation either because it has been consumed or because immunity has set in, this is always felt by the patient as sudden, intolerable and constant hunger. In this sense, the HCG method is completely self- limiting. With HCG it is impossible to reduce a patient, however enthusiastic, beyond his normal weight. As soon as no more abnormal fat is being issued, the body starts consuming normal fat, and this is always regained as soon as ordinary feeding is resumed. The patient then finds that the 2-3 lbs. he has lost during the last days of treatment are immediately regained. A meal is skipped and maybe a pound is lost. The next day this pound is regained, in spite of a careful watch over the food intake. In a few days a tearful patient is back in the consulting room, convinced that her case is a failure.

All that is happening is that the essential fat lost at the end of the treatment, owing to the patient's reluctance to report a much greater hunger, is being replaced. The weight at which such a patient must stabilize thus lies 2-3 lbs. higher than the weight reached at the end of the treatment. Once this higher basic level is established, further difficulties in controlling the weight at the new point of stabilization hardly arise.

Dawn and Memorykeeper, start around page 20 (I think). Skip the science, history and get to the program. Then it's not nearly as dull.

You guys, if you read it carefully, it does begin to make sense. I promise. Some things you need to read twice. The Protocol part (beginning around page 20?) is the least interesting, but easiest to understand (obviously), but I really like knowing the how/why it works.

I started today as a chicken thigh CD at lunch but the chicken tasted all sorts of weird so I ended it with some voskos for dinner. Tomorrow is my last day at work until next year, yay!

Have read it and have skyped with the author. I love it!

Day 3 drawing to an end, and I am still doing SO MUCH BETTER hunger-wise than the beginning of my first round. Note to JUDDDers: do not go right from long term JUDDDing to HCG. That's probably what made my first round so hard.

I'm glad you're doing good! But I am JUDDDing now.... so how many load days should I do *IF* (and that's a big IF) I decide to do another round anytime soon?

I re-read P & I anytime I do another round. Which means I've read it 7 times I get something new out of it every time. I like knowing the whys.

Welp, I've been gone because I finished my classes and graduated
Yep, this 50+ year-old walked with her class finally, Saturday, a class of people between the ages of 25-51, I'm not the oldest but close. And I did the walk across the stage without the cane.

And then had to go to work at my office and try to catch up before the new tax season is upon me, attend "update" with all this fiscal cliff stuff hanging over our heads and still not knowing exactly what is even going to be done. Interesting. I won't get political. It's Just not a good way to have to run a business, waiting for the government!

I probably won't be on much right now, either, just so much going on. I miss you guys.

Buttah - glad to hear that this round is going better for you!! I hope you continue to have the same progress

C'Marie - CONGRATS!!!!! Yay

From what I understand from Robin's teachings/videos I think she would recommend a 3-day load because you've gone through several rounds. I think she even recommends that in general - 3 days.

I hope tax season goes smoothly for you - I'll always be thinking of you even if you're not in here!

C'Marie, 3 days!!! Robin told me right off the bat last time that I should have done three days, given my JUDDDing right beforehand, and losing for months even before that. Had I skyped with her before loading, I would have saved myself a lot of pain.

To be honest, she recommended 3 days this time as well, but I just couldn't do it. I trusted my 9 weeks of "normal eating" between rounds would see me through (and this is why I did not JUDDD in P3 or P4 - I knew I was doing another round.) So far, I'm okay, but it's only day 4. The other shoe would be dropping right about now if I didn't load properly, according to Simeons.

And Simeons even talking about... not so much loading, but at least eating normally BEFORE treatment in patients who are "depleted." I love JUDDD and it did wonders for my blood work, especially inflammation (and I will do it again to maintain, I'm sure), but I think intermittent fasting before HCG is a recipe for starvation.

So IF you do another round... load for 3 days! And maybe eat very normally the day before your first injection as well. I did, and with my fat/protein/veggie load, I gained only .9 lbs!

Day 3 drawing to an end, and I am still doing SO MUCH BETTER hunger-wise than the beginning of my first round. Note to JUDDDers: do not go right from long term JUDDDing to HCG. That's probably what made my first round so hard.
So glad this round is better so far!! Makes good sense!! Glad your load was minimal and you're likely already down that and then some!! So excited for you!!

That's a bummer! I hadn't thought about that side of things. That the "professional" tax and finance people are in limbo until the gov't makes a decision. I'm not a big fan of our gov't (either party) right now, but am still happy to be an American. Hoping for the best!

Down to 152 today, but I'm still out of range. But considering how many choc covered almonds and cashews I enjoyed last night, I'm thrilled to not be up this morning! I STS, which means if I keep it light and LC (my daily goal which I haven't done successfully lately!!) I will be down tomorrow. Usually I work my way down to the 140's again, then party through the weekend, then work it back off during the week. Not ideal, and I'd love to be working this "range" 5 lbs lower, but I'll take it for now. The holidays won't be forever, and Jan looks a bit quieter. If I can get back to "normal" eating and do the week/weekend thing, I may be able to stick the lower numbers. Also plan to up the exercise from walking 3 times a week to more intense exercise. I'm hopeful once our Christmas tree is gone I'll be back to 100%. This constant sinus stuff is getting old!!

That's my update and plan. hope you're all finding what works for you!!

I went ahead and weighed, I had written on the P3/P4 thread what I had eaten on Sat/Sun completely over the top UUAD (up up and away days!) but I did do decent DD on Monday and a good one yesterday, and I'm *just* below my "stuck" weight this morning. I am going to try to eat "normally" which to me is right about at my calories for UD but try to really listen to my body and only eat to hunger. This nighttime eating has got to simmer down. I always eat a bite or two of something with my night meds, but that's it. If I let myself indulge too much in the evening, it gets out of hand. I bought some nicely flavored teas and am trying to drink more in the evenings instead of munch. My weight right now is only 2 pounds above window. If I can just keep it right there or get down to window (dreaming LOL) with the holidays, I will consider it a success.

Still thinking about whether or not to do another round. It'd sure be nice to get rid of this last bit of weight, or at least get down to my old lowest LOL 15 pounds down from here now that I have a clue how to hold it there with JUDDD. The biggest thing I am afraid of is re-stressing my adrenals. Everytime that happens I end up sleepless. It's just awful. Shelby helped me a lot and now I can actually sleep most of the time and I don't get the heart-pounding in my ears anxiety attacks or other obvious symptoms. I don't want that PEACE to go away just trying to lose a few pounds, IYKWIM. Although I do feel overall better ON the hcg, joints and everything hurts less. I would do it this time WITH all my supplements, not skipping them (5htp, isocort, etc) like I have in the past. I generally skip everything except magnesium and potassium when on hcg just to save $$ and not be wondering about conflicts with that particular process since it works SO WELL.

If I decide to do another round I will seriously consider 3 days. Does that mean you do one loading day BEFORE the first injection? That's what it looks like to me in P & I.

Yes, it does look like that in P & I, but Robin said to do the three loading days during the first three injections. However, I could've sworn the first time we spoke, while my first round was underway, she said I should have loaded one day before starting injections, (which seems more like what Simeons is suggesting for up to a week for people who are "depleted.")

But this time she was clearly saying three injecting days. I hope that makes sense.

If I were coming straight off JUDDD, I would load for three days with injections AND try to eat normal maintenance calories (without DD's) for a week or two before starting injections. Just based on my horrific first week last round! And you don't have to gain a lot. My gain this time is PROOF. .9 of a lb!

Hello Gang
I haven't time for personals today but it looks like eeryone is doing very good!!

I was only down .2 today but I was down. Not going to make it back to my LDW by Christmas.I will probably gain over the Christmas break from this Sat to the Wednesday after as my SIL does not cook so that means we will be eating out every day!

But another round begins in Jan so I amnot really too concerned I just don't want to again another 12 lbs like I did last time we went there!

Everyone take care this will be my last post until after Christmas sooo....
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY HCG FRIENDS
