We ended up losing our home and I lost my Father, Mother, Grandfather, and Cousin in the last few years. I ended up at a Naturopathic M.D. after many regular doctors said nothing was wrong with me except my Rhuematologist that told me I had Fibromyalgia. I had put on 30LBS. in 6 months. He diagnosed me with adrenal exhaustion and I'm finally feeling good!!! He told me about HCG and here I am! I'm excited to get my body back!!!

Hi Mumof3 - I'm sorry for your troubles that brought you here but I am glad you found your way to a doctor that could help! (what helped you with your adrenal exhaustion if I may ask?)

Good luck to you! I'm sure your success story will inspire others very soon!

You will feel like a new person after hcg. I have found great relief to the point I'm off my pain medication since starting hcg last August. Fibromyalgia is not tougher than you on hcg!

C'Marie, it looks like you're doing a FF for loading. You're loading day looks nothing like mine. I gorged on carbs. At least you won't gain a ton like I did. That's a good start. I bet you'll do well.

I didn't gain anything from yesterday's load. We'll see how today goes. I'm still out of my window from last round by 2.4 so I really don't want to gain much.

berta--you asked how I was. I am doing OK. I was expecting a visit from my mom tomorrow, she lives in FL and it is a 10 hour drive away, but she just cancelled. So, now that I don't have her visit to slow me down, I am hopping back to P2!! I was going to wait until she left on Weds, but now I can start this weekend. I am still in that 14 day interruption window. I don't work this next coming up week, so I can start any time!!!

Sounds like you are learning about yourself this week. Hope that protocol (strict protocol) gets you to where you want to be!

Dawn I am not so sure of that!
Today has been such a loss. I don't know what is wrong with me this round.

I just can't seem to get with it again. I have eaten like a hog all day and not good things.Actually thinking of giving it up. It's been nearly a year and I only have 30 some lbs off. I could have lost that much by just eating regularly and counting calories. I miss my potatoes and bread. I feel like I just need to be with happy with who I am.I am old now and don't care about the skinny jeans etc. Everyone else likes me the way I am. I feel so stressed out when I am trying to diet.

I just don't know anymore. We are going out of town Sunday so I know I won't eat on plan then. But perhaps Monday I can get back with it.

Maybe I will just take a break. I have about enogh RX HCG for four more rounds. Guess I'll wait and see how I am feeling about it Monday

@Berta, sorry you've had a time of trials right now. At least you do have 30 pounds off! Please focus on the positive. And for me, one more year would've meant at least another 20 ON - maybe you stayed the same for years and that wouldn't have happened to you but it sure was to me. Take a break and see how you feel. I hate to see you discouraged.

Loading day 2 down:
other half of that 2nd avocado,
1/4 can more olives (couldn't finish the can),
another handful of almonds,
1/2 large taco salad with cheese, lettuce, ground beef, guac, with LOTS of sour cream, (no tortilla shell!) a few refried beans were in there but I only had maybe a bite or two,
more HWC and butter in my coffee with my scoop of protein powder in the a.m.
12 oz bacon,
sugarfree dark chocolate almonds,
16 oz full fat Greek yogurt with several tablespoons coconut oil mixed in.

I'm STUFFED.
I still have loads of pepperoni, sour cream, and cream cheese left. It's going in the trash. (or to my dh LOL)

Just seems I am missing eating a few things.I think... do I have to do this the rest of my life? I can eat just one piece of cake or pie or biscuit or bread or even 1/2 baked potato. But not having any for so long is sure getting old.

I was only up .6 this morning so not bad for all I did yesterday. I am trying a different approach today.I ran out of HCG in the vial I mixed ( it didn't last 21 days like it should have it only lasted 14days Monday. But I did spill some, so that is probably why)so I mixed up another this morning. I realize quitting really isn't an option. But boy it sure is getting tough to stick to. I was so gung ho at first and lost 24 lbs my first round. Now this is actually my 4th so I have done terrible.I know I can't go back and change anything. I am the only one that can do anyting about it. So I am trying again today.

I have also decided that I am doing as many days this time as I can possibly stand. Then I am only waiting 8weeks to go again. I know what the rules are but I am going to try it anyway. It can't hurt anymore than it already has.

If I don't have this off by my 65 birthday on Aug 26th I am going to just try LC and calorie counting and see how I do.
The stress an worry of all this is getting to me also! I am normally a very happy go lucky person.
Thanks for your encouragemnet.

So sorry to hear you're struggling. I'm nor trying to push anything on you...but I was thinking maybe JUDDD might be a better fit for you until your head is more wrapped around HCG. It really is an awesome WOE...and allows you to eat what you want in moderation. There have been some fabulous results. Albeit...it is slower...BUT perhaps you will stick with it more...resulting in MORE weight loss...does that make sense? Chances are if you stuck with it you would be down 30 pounds in a year and be able to have some of those yummy things you want. I would be more than happy to help you an answer any questions you may have let me know if you're interested.

Luv ya friend!!!!!!!

Nice to hear from you again. It's been awhile. School keeps you hopping I know, along with all the other things life brings us!

I have considered JUDDDD but didn't go there. Was afraid it would take me back to my old way of eating. I am going to push on and if it is slower then it will just have to be slower. I have gained and lost 1.2 lbs this entire week. SO it is just getting discouraging. But then it 's my own fault.

I am going to try to do it by protocol starting monday again for 25 more days. That will put me to 42 days.So on day39 I will stop HCG and do 3 days of 500cal. Then I will see where I am at and decide from there.

Thank you for your help offer. I may take you up on it then, we will see
I honestly feel like I might try Spark People. It is a good site and free and you track food and they give you a menu to choose from and a plan.So at this point in time everything is just up in the air!Keep truckin you are doing wonderful KUTGW

Sorry you are struggling Berta or I should say, just diet weary. I get that way sometimes too. This plan is extremely restrictive and it gets to you. Really affects your mood and your whole demeanor. I get it. I am there myself. I am going back to P2 either tomorrow or Monday. I am so off and then on again, then off, and on I hate the restrictions, but the results keep me coming back for more. Ugh, I hate it. I wish I were at a point where I could say "Enough". But alas, I am not. Going to try yet again

Good luck to us all

My doctor had me do B12 and ginseng injections for the adrenal exhaustion. It took around a month and a half for me to regain my energy. I'm also taking a supplement called selevance that I absolutely love. It keeps me calm and balanced! My family loves it also . Thank you all for the warm welcome! It isn't the plan.... it works.... It's me not sticking wtih it!
BUT I am going again, I am not quitting. Not yet any way

If it weren't for this thread I wold have quit a long time ago.You HCGERS are awesome.Thank you all for your friendship.Seems no one else understands

Welp, I gained 2 pounds loading my 2nd day, even eating less than I did my 1st loading day. I was wondering if I might even LOSE on my load days like I did on my very first round. But nope. So today is VLCD #1 and I will admit I'm kinda hungry. Drinking herb tea and sticking to protocol and I know the hungries will eventually go away. Hunger never hurt me before and it is not an emergency.

So glad for all my friends here. You know, Berta, you are RIGHT. NO ONE understands us like we do each other. It's a unique group, that's for sure.

Finally broke through to 159.6!!! SOOOO happy to see that "5" on the scale! I also realized I was counting my VLCDs wrong. I counted the two loading days in there so I am really at day 22! I am down from 13.4 lbs my pre-load weight. I only gained 2.8lbs in loading...

I'm a happy camper this morning!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Happy Sunday morning ya'll~

Just checking in here. I have been running like crazy...I know...the story of my life. But I'm okay with it...my energy is returning, and I am more productive

I'm hitting the gym quite a bit, and loving it. Had some soreness in the beginning, but it is subsiding. I feel great afterwards, too. I am noticing toning happening (ALREADY!!!!) through the hips & thighs. It's that evil elliptical I had 3-4 bounce-up at first, but it came off withing 5-6 days...I was a little worried at first.

I am holding steady with JUDDDing for the most part. A little lower than my max low(168) this morning (167.8), but no problem as I always weigh a little more by evening...plus I have my 2 lb. weights in my bag I am doing p2 + extra protein protocol on DD's, and high fat/low carb clean eating on UD's. Staying away from processed foods as much as possible. And enjoying PB here & there Not really counting cals so much, and only a part of a treat on a special occasion or out to eat. I had 1/2 of a choc. chunk cookie when we went to Costco...those are soooooo good....but still gave hubby my other half. Hoping to achieve my set point at 167ish, and then I may try to go to 150-155 after April.

It's good to see some of the "oldies' doing well, and WELCOME to the newbies just starting

Talk to you soon...keep on truckin'!!!

Hunger never hurt me before and it is not an emergency.

So glad for all my friends here. You know, Berta, you are RIGHT. NO ONE understands us like we do each other. It's a unique group, that's for sure.
That's nothing!! you'll lose that by tomorrow!! Hope this is a great round for you!!

It isn't the plan.... it works.... It's me not sticking wtih it!
BUT I am going again, I am not quitting. Not yet any way

If it weren't for this thread I wold have quit a long time ago.You HCGERS are awesome.Thank you all for your friendship.Seems no one else understands
It's really hard if you're not 100% committed to the plan. I am giving JUDDD a whirl for just that reason. I can't muster the motivation for a real round. I'm looking at JUDDD as an "every other day" P2 I sure hope I lose on it!!
Hope you're doing well!

I'm a happy camper this morning!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

You're always such an inspiration to me!! Thanks for sharing and doing so well!! WTG!! You're doing great!! Love it!! I'm back at the gym too, but I'm doing more weights and not as much cardio. I will probably up that a bit more this week. Weights reshape me so much more than cardio, but I could use the aerobic exercise too! Keep up the good work!! I'm inspired!! And JUDDDing too .

I'm plugging away w. JUDDD. I haven't lost anything, yet. But I am lifting weights again, and not gaining, so that's something. I did my 3rd DD yesterday. Not too bad, hunger wise. Just hard to resist temptations. Having done a few rounds of hcg, I'm kinda' used to the 500cal day (600 some days) routine, so it's not that hard. Then I get to eat the next day!! Giving it a good 2 weeks and we'll see where I am.

Hi Julie...

TY...you are so sweet! You have been an inspiration to me...you're always there to help others and encourage us. YAY that you have started working out. I think JUDDD will be a good match for you. I am doing 2 Zumba classes and 3 Body Pump classes a week. I find that I bounce up a little bit after the Body Pump class but then I am back down after the Zumba class... So it balances out for me. Plus 10-11 min. here & there on the elliptical, and about 10-15 min. on the treadmill.

After VLCD1 I am down the 2# load weight and am on my way. Hoping to balance out hunger with protocol food. I find myself wanting to TWEAK now that I've done JUDDD and can figure out meals/calories for 500 - but lots of the recipes have too many non-protocol components. So am trying to go for my old P2 standbys but I am adding miracle noodles the first week, always gets me past the hungries.

Congrats on the loss Marie.

Do you have the miracle noodles in place of veggies or still have all the veggies and fruit you are allowed?

The plain-label noodles I get have no calories, so I don't exchange them for anything. I only eat them sparingly and usually only the first week until the hungries settle down. I don't eat alot of veggies anyway, and I usually only eat 1 fruit a day. Once in awhile if I am hungry I will add the second fruit, or even a half, usually nighttime with a cup of tea.

The noodles can appear to be stalling you because they reduce transit time through the gut - they bulk up in there. Be sure to drink plenty of water.
