Berta--you need to re-read a bacon/coffee CD. Not a coffee and bacon do. The bacon coffee CD is Lara's coffee/bacon correction day You have me laughing here. And what do you think it involves??!! Hmmm.. you eat bacon and drink coffee all day. Yum and the next day you lose weight. I am in P3 today and need to lose back to my low to the left. So just ate bacon and sipping coffee. Bring on tomorrow I want to weigh already!!

Yes. I used my Ninja food chopper for the chicken and celery the apple was cut into tiny pieces as the food chopper chops it up to much.

Well you said you had a lb of bacon cooked and didn't have to eat it all.And was going to start a bacon/coffee cd.So what are you talking about What is the difference between bacon & coffee or coffee and bacon? You got me confused on this one

Bacon/coffee and coffee/bacon are both terms used to describe a CD that Lara started, in which the only things you eat all day are..bacon and coffee. The idea is to consume no more than one package of bacon over the course of the day. Coffee, as usual, is unlimited. I've done it a couple of times myself

Hello Dawn!!

First CBCD I actually didn't lose anything, lol. Second time I lost a couple pounds. The results of it depend for me, but eating bacon all day is totally fun. And easy! When I do CDs that I'm sure people at work would judge, like a day where I eat nothing but bacon, HWC, BP coffee, or whatever weird one thing that I choose, I have a joke where I'll say that "it's a day I hope no one looks in my lunchbox."

My birthday is indeed this month - 1/22! I won't load exactly then, as I will be having a few people take me out here and there afterwards, but hope to start loading at the beginning of February! I already ordered my hCG and should have it by then! Excited to lose weight again, honestly. It just feels so good. I get hooked on that whole "empty" feeling. I sound like an addict.

How have you been??

I thought you said "do" instead of "cd". That is how I interpreted it. So much for the internet huh?? So far it was so good. I loved it, not hungry at all. Not starving and not craving any chocolate, which is something I wanted every day while on P2 and did have So I definitely will try this again if needed. And I haven't even weighed

My son's birthday is Sat, the 19th. I just talked with my mom this morning and she said my Grandfather's birthday is the 25th. He will be turning 94. That isn't even the coolest part--he still lives alone, drives his car, and has all his own body parts except for 1 knee. I can only hope to be doing so well at his age

Count me in as an hcg junkie. I love it too but not this round. I just couldn't get into it. Maybe next time around. I am coming off a not so great P2 (first day was 12/21); I took liberties here and there and just couldn't stick to plan. But I did manage to lose 12 lbs. So that is good!!! I cannot wait for P3 tomorrow. I get to eat, probably won't want to because I can, but you know how that goes Oh, and I hope my bacon/coffee day leads to weight loss, and not a gain for me on the scale. I don't think I can handle that tomorrow It took me a whole week to lose 3 lbs and I gained it all back in one freaking night and I still have to lose it. That is why the c/b day today I have always wanted to try the bulletproof coffee. Maybe one day this coming week I can do that

Bacon and coffee sounds so good! Can you put cream in your coffee? Also, a lb of bacon really isn't nearly a lb after its cooked. If bacon was all I ate, I could probably eat a lb of it in one sitting. LOL

@felina, I put hnh in my coffee when I had my bacon CD. And you're right - at breakfast time I was eyeing the entire pound but I restricted myself to eat "to hunger" and not to sight! So I had 8 pieces for brx, 5 for lunch, and 3 for dinner. I had 18 pieces in the package all together, so I left 2 alone. it was a yummy day!

I am hoping the panel of experts will be able to help me out. This is my round 3. I did my 2 load, 21 vlcd. Today, is my second vlcd, no drops. The problem is I woke with a .5 gain on vlcd 1, no drops, and a .8 gain on vlcd 2, no drops. The only change in my usual menu was that I had eggs for dinner last night. Aside from that one change, nothing else was different
It is rattling my self-confidence in regards to stabilizing. Here, I thought w TOM making an exit, I'd lose a little more. What a joke!

BTW, Happy Birthday, C'Marie! I've read you mention Tigard in a previous post. I once lived in that area. It is beautiful.

I had about 16 pieces total. And cream in my coffee. It was a good day. Didnt' get me down enough though. Only 0.4 . Which is better than another gain but I was hoping for at least a full lb plus that 0.4 At least I don't HAVE to do a CD today (not out of window) , but I have to be very, very careful.

Did you have eggs in addition to your other meals? If not, I would say this is just another time when your body is losing fat and those cells filling up with water. We women are so LUCKY like that... Hang in there. The body will do what it will do and stressing will just make it worse.

I went back to bed and weighed in at 7:30. I was down a little so I feel better. The eggs were my dinner portion of protein, not an additional meal. Thanks for your help, Shelby. I value your opinion greatly. It seems like you've a handle on the trials and tribulations of this hcg. I love it. I am very grateful for hcg. I'd love to get this squared away.

I lost another 1.4 making it 8 lbs thus far this week.I started Monday so 8lbs in five days is great.But I still have 8 lbs to get back to my LDW! That's the BIG BUMMER.
I had said my LDW was 246 but I looked at my chart it was 236

I was reading through the HCG diet short form I have a question about the following:

• Sunday – Day of your last dose: 500 calories

Monday – VLCD no hCG D1: 750 calories – typical P2 menu with added clean fats*.
o 1T HWC
o 4T HNH
o 1T olive oil
o +257 calories

• Tuesday – VLCD no hCG D2: 1000 calories – typical P2 menu with added clean fats*, and you can add two eggs.
o 1 extra large egg
o 1.5T HWC
o 3T HNH
o 2T blue cheese dressing
o 80g avocado
o +501 calories

For those who have done this by increasing your calories on the 22 and 23rd day did you have trouble stabilizing in P3?

@Cindy, I never did that method - if anything I just added a whole egg or a little more protein. I never added fat.

@59.5 - I agree with shelby - when you go to P3 just increase calories carefully, do similar to P2 foods, doubling protein at lunch/dinner, maybe add an egg for breakfast, and add one or two small servings of good fat. You'll stabilize better if you don't add a bunch of new stuff right away. JMHO.

@Berta, you're doing great! Just keep doing what you're doing and never mind the past. It's behind you!

@dawn, too bad the bacon CD didn't get you further down but maybe you would've been up without it! Try it again a little later.


I did a GY day yesterday, full fat Greek Yogurt and some sweetner, I only did one serving of berries, and I had protein powder in the morning mixed into it. So probably 1000 calories and lotsa nice fat! I weighed the same as I did after my bacon day, BUT the scale wobbled a bit before it made up its mind and it was .6 lower so I'm wondering if in a few days after another couple down days if I'm going to have a drop and be firmly IN my window instead of just outside of it (or at the top of my "rounded" window LOL).

I'm going to a gluten-free fish house today and going to have rice flour-covered onion rings and fish for lunch and then probably just a protein drink for dinner (and my treat, see the following). Tomorrow will either be some kind of a traditional down day or another bacon day. I bought all my loading foods, all high fat, low carb, and will probably load at the end of next week. I am really hoping not to gain a bunch loading. NO SUGAR for load! I will have some sugar today as I have one gluten-free carrot cake cupcake for my bd frozen in the freezer and I'm going to have it today, but then from then till I load NONE. I will have several good DD between today and the load so hopefully no issues.

Thanks for the reply I will stick with protocol and wait until Jan 27 for my coffee with cream.

You would figure that after several rounds of P2 I would know how to do P3 .

TY...you are so sweet!!! You are doing so well! Congrats on keeping on...you are such a great example to us...always leading the way. What impresses me is that you do it the old-fashioned way...clean eating/P3 protocol. I feel like I am "cheating" because I am JUDDDing But I have too many bounces, etc. sticking to straight P3 protocol...and I hate the bouncing

Way to go!!! You're rockin' it! Don't let the other rounds get to you! The main thing is that you're doing it now...and you will succeed. You're still below what you were this time last year...you'd prolly be above that highest weight if you hadn't been on hHCG, right?

Hello all~

Just checking in...catching up a little!!!

I am doing well. I started back in to the gym this week...feeling good...but really sore this morning I had a few lbs. bounce-up from TOM & the gym, but have lost a couple...so I am at 168.8 this morning. The last few days I have been playing up/down .2 & .4...guess I can't complain about that, huh? I almost expected up to 4-5 lbs. bounce-up, so very happy that it was only a few lbs...and I am so glad I had decided to lose a few extra just to counter-balance it My main focus is to stay in the 160's. I can be as low as 168 in the evening...so I am right on...plus I have my pair of 2-lb. (4 lbs. total) dumbbell hand weights in the car if I ever NEED them for extra weight (tucked in my pockets). I have added Body Pump classes, so I imagine/hope that I will be building up some muscle...I really need to gain upper body strength...I generally am so weak that I sometimes cannot open a sealed jar.

I am doing mainly low-carb JUDDD...very few carbs...veggies are the main carbs, and 1 slice of 45 cal./4.5 carb bread per day at times. Been enjoying the fat...dressings, cheeses, avocado, etc. I also found TJ's Simply Lite Low-Carb milk chocolate & dark chocolate bars...so yummy! I feel like I'm cheating...you know how I am about candy

So good to see some sweet faces back to the boards...Cocoa, Julie...and others who have joined in the past few weeks

Way to go!!! You're rockin' it! Don't let the other rounds get to you! The main thing is that you're doing it now...and you will succeed. You're still below what you were this time last year...you'd prolly be above that highest weight if you hadn't been on hHCG, right?

You are so right I would probably still be 275 or more! I am not even counting rnds 2&3 as they were totally wasted.So I am pretending I am on rnd 2 even if it is rnd 4 Just for my own pychological reasons

I will be glad when I can eat just LC foods.I found a great site with tons of LC foods on it. Vivalc. bagles, breads, mixes etc.Syrups (davinic)I didn't put the web site in full as I don't think we are allowed to?

Angela, you are the INSPIRATION! Oh. my. Wow! You are managing your weight and diet sooooo well! Love that! Hitting the gym is dabomb diggity! That is on my long term goal list. I am doing Walk Away the Pounds (1 mile per day Monday through Friday) as my baby steps to start exercising. Woo Hoo!

Hope you all are doing great!

151.5 this morning. We'll see what Monday's weight brings. I will stop induction on the 28th and treat it like a P3, adding foods, and then maintain for a couple of months.

Hi everyone, just checking in quickly, had a weekend just to myself and am UP a bit from the GF fish house but it was yummy and I'll get it back down in a couple DD. I am getting it all out of my system before I load, so my load will be all LC. Waiting for my hcg and will load later this week.

C'Marie, just curious. I thought that you were maintaining with JUDDD, which is what I plan to do once I lose another 30 lbs or so. Now I see that your going to start another round of HCG. Is JUDDD not working out for you?
