Well I was up another lb today.This is tough! I had it all under control before Thanksgiving and Christmas. UUUUGGGGHHHHH!

Can't find my P&I book. I need to know(again) how long on Ph4 in rnd 3 before andohter PH2?

Well I was down this a.m. I have only 2 more before LDW. I found my P&I book finally and I have to wait until Jan 16th to doPH2 again. So..... I am really hoping to be below LDW by then.

Berta, You just finished Round 2 right? Well then you can start again in 8 weeks. You and I will be partying together in P2 again! woo hoo!

Up 2 pounds again. I do wonder about the inconsistent times I weigh in, as I've seen in the past weighing later makes me lighter until about 10 or 11 then my weight goes up. Anyway, I'm at 158.5 today, which is 5 pounds above or 3 pounds out of my window. Like you Berta, I hope to get back to my LIW before January 20th.

Woo Hoo, have a great 2013 ladies (and any gents).

Hi there! Happy New Year!

Newbie here! Can I tag along?

I've off LCF for a reeeeally long time but would love to jump back in! I've been reading all the threads and while I'm still a little overwhelmed, I think I have enough info to get started. My DH and I plan to do this together and have ordered the drops which should be here Thursday. We're ready with our scale and some menus and are looking forward to starting this year off right!

Welcome Dooy! Woo hoo! Love your tag line, and it's so true! Plan and prep, that's the key for me!

Have you done hcg before? If not, I have a few tips that really help:

Prepare an "emergency kit" with an apple, and orange, a Grissini (in a zip lock bag), a drink mix sleeve, bottle of water, instant coffee sleeve and packets of sweetener. That way the temptation to cheat when you're stuck in traffic, or delayed is taken care.

Weigh and measure 7 days worth of grilled chicken and put in individual freezer bags. I also do this for ground chuck, by weighing it (I don't pre-cook the ground chuck).

Make extra servings of P2 chili and freeze (great for grab and go). I also freeze "French Onion Soup."

Be sure to have extra broth (beef and chicken and vegetable if you like). I get broths from Aldi and they are only 5 calories a cup.

I eat the same lunch M-F (grilled chicken chunks, raw spinach, navel orange and a salad dressing made with 2 T of apple cider vinegar (ACV), 1 packet of sweetener and juice from 1/4 of my orange). Sometimes I crumble one Grissini over it for "croutons." That way I don't have to think about, I'm just on automated mode.

So excited for you to join us. BTW, I'm not so chatty when school starts back because I stay so busy, that it's often days before I get back on here.

Hi Berta and Jeanette! I'm definitely getting back on the horse here trying to get back into control after way too much yummyness and carbs even though they were gluten-free. I am bloated and feel out of control with the sugars. I feel like I have a hangover even though I didn't drink at all this NYE. Doing meat and proteins today and will do that for a few days and then launch back into JUDDD down days when I feel like I have kicked the sugar addiction. All the nice, dark chocolate is going in the freezer for now. I must maintain this loss and get back down to my LIW quickly - just over a week ago I was only a few pounds out of window and no way am I weighing now. I'd love to jump on P2 with you gals, but I'm concerned about my adrenals messing up again with the super low cals of P2 for so many days even with the hcg. Not sure what to think about it, because if I do get this same *15* pounds off again and can't hold it due to thyroid/adrenal/hormones issues again it is so utterly depressing it makes me want to give up completely. Sigh. JUDDD and every-other-day deprivation kind of seems easier but I don't seem to lose that way, I can just barely maintain. We'll see! Just trying to be "good" for one day at a time right now seems like all I can handle! LOL

C'Marie, I'm so sorry because I know how frustrating dieting can be all by itself, I can't imagine the additional stress you have of adrenals and hip pain and stress! Sending you some tight, squeezy hugs!

A lot of people do hcg with higher calories, maybe that would be an option for you. Right now I'm reading Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution and it's been pretty interesting. I thought about trying induction for a few weeks to see where it takes me. I'm up 5 pounds myself, which is wayyyyyyyy better than my usual 10-15 during this time of year!

No actually I am on PH4.ound 3. Jan 16th I can go back toPH2.Rpund 4. It will have been 12 weeks since I started PH3 right before Thanksgiving.I have wasted at least one 1/2rounds.I had 24 lbs off after rnd 1.I did have 40 lbs off in the middle of rnd 3.
I am now two lbs form LDW. SO I am doing a CD day tomorrow!!!

Berta and Jeanette - So just fyi, in case it makes any difference to you guys, the chart above is for time between rounds for BOTH P3 AND P4. P3 is always 3 weeks. So it breaks down like this...

Between Rounds 1 and 2 - You must wait at least 6 weeks (3wks P3, 3wks P4)
Between Rounds 2 and 3 - You must wait at least 8 weeks (3wks P3, 5wks P4)
Between Rounds 3 and 4 - You must wait at least 12 weeks (3wks P3, 9wks P4)
Between Rounds 4 and 5 - You must wait at least 20 weeks (3wks P3, 17wks P4)
Between Rounds 5 and 6 - You must wait at least 6 months (3 wks P3, 5 months+1wk P4)

So Berta if you are between round 3 and round 4, you would officially need 3wks of P3 and 9wks of P4.

Good morning ladies! I'm doing good at 156.5 this morning, only 1 pound out of my window. I went in for the blood work today. I start Round 5 Phase 2 on January 19th. I'm would love, love, love to lose 20 pounds and hit my 100 pound goal, but I'm okay if it's only 15 because I can't stress about that.

I'm working my way back down. I'm still 10lbs up from my happy place. I'll get there. It would go faster inP2, but I don't wanna! Atkins will get me there. Doing all eggs today, custard, egg salad and egg muffins.

Jeanette-I'm basically doing Atkins right now myself. I'm not sure it'll help me lose any real weight, but should get me back where I settled last round. You're doing great!

I'm on VLCD2 today, haven't weighed in since pre-load. It wasn't pretty!! I'm in the midst of figuring out what the heck is going on with me and doing some saliva and other unmentionable tests to see what's wrong. Along with adrenal problems, Doc thinks I have a wicked parasite that is causing everything to go out of whack. Maybe that explains how I gained 20 pounds in a month eating LC? Ughh.. I thought parasites would usually cause you to LOSE not GAIN!!

I'm here and really hoping I can get back to my 'happy place'.

I didn't do induction very well (I love Peanut butter and it's my downfall). I had 34 net carbs and loved every single morsel. We'll see what tomorrow's weight is and then I can think about my strategies. Either way, I will start P2 on January 19th, but this load will be different. High Fat and no sugar/starch (except I might have some refried beans - something I've been craving).

Amy, that is a bummer. Sorry that you're struggling so. I hope they figure it out because the not knowing is worse, I think. Knowledge is power. Praying for you!

Just enjoyed crustless cheesecake and it was fantastic! Then I had to have a second piece with peanut butter and sugar free chocolate chips. Now that was yumalicious!

Hi all


Well...I am going back on the "juice" for 3 weeks...lol. I loaded yesterday, and have tried to load today somewhat...you know how that 2nd day goes

I have maintained beautifully...175.4 lbs. this morning, which is -.4 lb. below LDW of 175.8 lbs. I would like to lose about 7-8 more to get me to my low "leeway" 167 lbs. allowed for TOPS. Right now I teeter-totter between 173-175ish lbs., but it is just too close to my max "leeway" of 178 lbs. I'd rather be 167-170ish and have more of a cushion. I have found JUDDD to be purely magical & EASY for maintenance, but I do not technically lose a lot on it...I go down a few, then bounce up a few...it's a cycle, but honestly think it's more my goofy body than anything. I do believe 175 has become my setpoint as my body keeps gravitating to that number no matter what...which is good...it's what I wanted pretty much...just now I'd like it to be 167ish You guys know me

My question for the veterans...what do you do if you reach goal before the 3 weeks? I read somewhere you up calories to 1000? Anyone recall? I never had that problem before, so never paid attention

Tomorrow is VLCD1!!!!! Soooo excited! Git er' done!!!!

See you in the morning to see what I've gained...I kinda ate a lot of junk

Angela!!!! I'm so very very proud of you! You have rocked this round! Woo Hoo! I agree "juice" is cute. I don't know about reaching goal...still have 26 pounds to go myself! Dreaming of the day...

Dooy! YIPPEE DOODLES! My last load I gained 9 pounds and freaked out and found out that Julie said on one round she gained 12 pounds and I was relieved, cuz she's my INSPIRATION!

I really can't stand that bloated "why did I eat that" feeling. It amazes me because I used to LIVE my life like that every day! Arghhhh, even the memories are painful! But the skinny feeling is just amazing!

I didn't do induction very well (I love Peanut butter and it's my downfall). I had 34 net carbs and loved every single morsel. Just enjoyed crustless cheesecake and it was fantastic! Then I had to have a second piece with peanut butter and sugar free chocolate chips. Now that was yumalicious!

@Angela, did anyone answer your question about what to do with calories when you hit goal before the 23 days dosing is up? Yes, you raise the calories to 800 first, and see if it stops the weightloss. If it doesn't, then go up gradually till it does. Start with additional protein first. I would like to have this problem ! LOL

Well, I weighed today. Not a pretty sight. After 3 days of pretty lowcarb and also very low calorie, 1100/560/1100 I am at my high prior to the potato hack days. So I am doing the potato hack starting Sunday again to get back down to my low. I will go 5 days and see where I am at. I may or may not add protein 4 hours earlier to any potatoes on what would be my JUDDD up days. Once I get back down into my window I will JUDDD strictly with medium carbs. At least that is the plan for now. We'll see what happens.
