Yep, this 50+ year-old walked with her class finally, Saturday, a class of people between the ages of 25-51, I'm not the oldest but close. And I did the walk across the stage without the cane.

And then had to go to work at my office and try to catch up before the new tax season is upon me, attend "update" with all this fiscal cliff stuff hanging over our heads and still not knowing exactly what is even going to be done. Interesting. I won't get political. It's Just not a good way to have to run a business, waiting for the government!

I probably won't be on much right now, either, just so much going on. I miss you guys.

Congrats on the drop even w. the taco shell!! Hope you're back down too. I'm in that same boat!!

I had to toss some Voskos recently. It was bad I was really sad since I love that stuff!! Going to get more Trader Joes' GY. Good stuff!!

So glad this round is better so far!! Makes good sense!! Glad your load was minimal and you're likely already down that and then some!! So excited for you!!

That's a bummer! I hadn't thought about that side of things. That the "professional" tax and finance people are in limbo until the gov't makes a decision. I'm not a big fan of our gov't (either party) right now, but am still happy to be an American. Hoping for the best!

Down to 152 today, but I'm still out of range. But considering how many choc covered almonds and cashews I enjoyed last night, I'm thrilled to not be up this morning! I STS, which means if I keep it light and LC (my daily goal which I haven't done successfully lately!!) I will be down tomorrow. Usually I work my way down to the 140's again, then party through the weekend, then work it back off during the week. Not ideal, and I'd love to be working this "range" 5 lbs lower, but I'll take it for now. The holidays won't be forever, and Jan looks a bit quieter. If I can get back to "normal" eating and do the week/weekend thing, I may be able to stick the lower numbers. Also plan to up the exercise from walking 3 times a week to more intense exercise. I'm hopeful once our Christmas tree is gone I'll be back to 100%. This constant sinus stuff is getting old!!

That's my update and plan. hope you're all finding what works for you!!

Hey, just saying howdy... I'm JUDDDing to try to keep the holiday gain to a minimum. Right now I'm back at my old "stuck" weight, and 2-3 pounds above window. We have our big family thing Christmas eve and then Christmas day we pretty much just play games and goof around together. I'm planning to do an UD tomorrow (Christmas eve) and then try to keep it lighter calories Christmas day - we'll see how it works out. I really don't want to lose this same weight all over again And I'm still not sure about doing a round at the beginning of the year. If I do, it'll be the FOURTH January that I've been on hcg. Just thinking about it.

Hi everyone. I will be starting hcg on January 1. Just got my bottles yesterday. I can't wait to get started. This will be my 3rd round. I did two rounds starting Thanksgiving 2 years ago. Can't believe it was that long ago. Had a hard time maintaining. Found Judd and lost a few more pounds and maintained. But got way off track this past summer and gained about 25 pounds. I was trying to Judd the weight off but just wasn't getting anywhere. So I will be joining all of you starting January.

Yay!! Another P2er real soon!!! I stopped my round sooner than I planned on. Actually didn't mean to interrupt--it is too soon, but I was eating off plan and doing pellets. Don't want to do that as I can gain a ton in a short time on those pellets and eating whatever. But now Christmas is over!!!! So I can continue on p2!!! Yay!!! Back to losing for me. I am so glad because I have puffed up real good. I am done with TOM so that is out of the way as well. Should be smooth sailing from here.

Merry Christmas y'all!!!!!

Hello everyone!

Is it too late to join this thread? DH and I just completed P2 and are in our first few days of P3 (his 2nd round, my 3rd) and we are looking for support. I have reached my first goal (72 pounds gone since March 1st) and he 50 gone. I used to belong to this message board years ago and would like to stay if that's ok

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has the BEST successes in 2013!!

Morning Gang
I am back home and all the Holidays are over thank GOD!!!
I am ashamed to say I am up to 250 again!!!
However... I am to begin another round next week but I am wondering if I should load again since I am already 14lbs above my LDW?

I trust we will all meet our goals this year!

Also does anyone know how to get bookmarks back? Mine use to be at the top of my PC screen but it is no longer there. So I can't even change my ticker. So aggravating

Well I did finally get my Ticker changed but had to paste and copy. Bookmarking is easier but OH WELL!

I am so aggravated I am back to my very first round weight loss. So that means two complete rounds totally lost!

But hey New Year.... new chance to do MUCH better right?

Greetings all! Welcome TC. Everybody's welcome here! We are all phases here! Yippee!

I haven't weighed in 3 days, so I'm very nervous! I will weigh tomorrow. I just looked at when I finished Round 3 and I can actually start January 20th instead of February 1st so that's what I'm going to do. I'm excited and anxious at the same time.

I've been very good doing LC except my birthday on the 23rd. I felt so yucky after eating wheat/sugar, that I decided to be good the 24th and 25th as well. We've been out of town for the last three days, and I've tried my best to stay LC. We'll see how I did in the morning.

I bought some skinny jeans (size 10) and skinny shirt to hang up for motivation. I want this next round to be as good as my first. My first round was 21 pounds, and then Round 2 was 14 pounds and Round 3 was only 12. Hoping for Round 1 success again since it's been 20 weeks.

Hugs and whoosh fairy to you all!

Berta, I would load but with LC foods. Eat til over full, but not on junk. That's how I'm going to load next time.

Hi Gang
Well my steak CD gave me a 2lb loss. So that is a bit better. I am eating normal today and tomorrow then another CD Monday. I looked and I have two more weeks before I am supposed to start another round as it will be rnd 4 for me.
Man I have really blown these last 2 rounds. But it's over and all I can do now is go forward. So onward and forward I go!!!

I just am so angry at myself though as I had 40 lbs off! Now only 26.8. I had that much off after my 1st rnd and 1/2

I would hate to see where I would be if it weren't for CD days though

Amen to that Berta!

I'm at 156.5 so almost back in my window. I'm making Venison Roast for dinner. I'm going to cook it in the oven, so I hope that works. I'm used to cooking it in the crock pot! I'm wrapping it in bacon, so that always helps!

Much love, hugs, and whoosh fairy wishes...

Hi Jeannete
Boy this thread has slowed down to a crawl!
But after the first we probably won't be able to keep up

You weigh what I am trying to get to. I sure hope I can make it this year. I know I cant go back. But I do wish I would have stayed with protocol better than I did. I am going to really try this next round.

You have done so well.I am truly proud of you, you look amazing!I imagine your husband is very proud too.

I know what you mean Berta....people are so busy, but I do love this thread!

Thank you so much for your sweet words. For my height I have to get 127 to be in the "normal" weight range. That's my goal, which is still 10 pounds heavier than when I got married. I don't think I could ever get back into that wedding dress! My hubby and I have been married 27 and a half years. I love that guy! He's in ministry too. He's a bi-vocational associate pastor at our small church. Oh and he's very proud of me! I'm proud of me too! Even though I feel very full from my delicious dinner.

Venison Roast wrapped in bacon (must do crock pot next time-it was too tough)
Cauli-Au-Gratin
Sugar Free Whole Cranberry Sauce
Mixed Greens Salad with avocado and bleu cheese dressing

Then I was so excited to make sugar free ice cream with my new ice cream maker only to find that it has to freeze for 8 hours in the freezer first. Into the freezer went my new ice cream maker. I will make banana ice cream tomorrow (yum!)...

I really do try to follow the protocol and do the correction days. I must admit the longer I do it, the more difficult it is to do a correction day. LOL! I know you understand that too! I weigh every day and the weight dictates my meals, even when visiting family or eating out. On Christmas day at my Dad's I could only eat Brisket, that was all he had that wasn't full of starch or sugar.

Sending lots of love, hugs, and the whoosh fairy...

Hey ladies! I hope everyone is doing well

I was supposed to start my round loading today, but, my doctor is having me do a saliva/cortisol test today and it specifically said NO SUBLINGUAL anything.. so.. I figured I would be okay waiting a day so I can get my saliva testing done and sent in to the lab before I start my round. So.. Loading tomorrow and the 31st! My body just does NOT like to stabilize I talked to my doc about it for a little while and he said if my body is at war with itself then stabilizing/losing is going to be tough. *sigh*

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Amy- hope the dr is able to help you. I am still toying w. another round myself. I hope you do we'll!

Jeanette-you've done great!! Glad you enjoyed your Christmas!

Berta-I'm with you! Give me a nice ribeye!

Dawn-WTG! So glad you're losing well!

I'm too high above my acceptable weight, 7 lbs to go, to give a new round a real shot. I know if I jumped back on now I'd be back down in a few weeks, but I'm hoping to LC and CDish it back down. It's certainly more enjoyable than P2, but I can't seem to stick to it cleanly. I'm down 4lbs so far, but still up too high. Looking forward to the 140's again. If I can do it, I may just set up camp in the mid upper 140's. we'll see.

I really need to get back to the gym. That's my goal for this new year. I'm still sinusy, but dh, bless him, took the tree down for me today. I'm feeling pretty bad right now, vertigo like, and very sinusy. Really hoping this passes and I feel well and healthy again. I guess time will tell. I need to just go walk at least!

Take care all

Thanks ladies!!! I am excited this time around. That is a good thing. Still wishing I could eat all that yummy food, but at least I am seeing the scale move. So far that is my motivation for sticking with it....the scale. For me it is the scale more so than anything else.

Berta, I love venison chili. I made some chili tonight, and it was so delicious!

Dawn, I know exactly how you feel.

Well, I messed up and I didn't do a full egg day. Here's what I had:

B: 2 eggs scrambled in butter, coffee and cream
L: not hungry, coffee and cream
D: starving, 2 egg custards, a bowl of chili, and my PB cup (recipes below)

Easy Custard! Ingredients: 4 egg yolks, 1/4 cup of cream, 6 drops of liquid splenda, 1 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla/butter extract Preparation: Mix all well, and pour into custard/ramkin (lightly oiled or sprayed) and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 3 (less than 1 carb).

Chili! Ingredients: 1 pound of ground chuck, 1 pound of Italian venison sausage, 1 bottle of Moroccan Hot Sauce, 1-28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes, 1-15 ounce can of diced tomatoes, 1-6 ounce of green chiles, Seasoning-cumin, chili, crushed pepper flakes, onion, garlic and salt. Cook meat and add remaining ingredients and cook for 15 minutes (stir often).

Peanut Butter Cup! (Don't laugh) Ingredients: 1 Tablespoon of Hershey's sf chocolate chips, 1 Tablespoon of Ground Flax Meal, 1/4 cup of nuts, 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Stir together is a cup, eat right out of the cup! Super delicious, and yes I ate a half of cup of peanut butter! ARghhhhh!

Have a blessed Sunday!

HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone!!!!

I'm praying for a prosperous & healthy year ahead for all of us!!!

I am doing fabulous. I am -.4 below LDW...so very, very happy! I have to admit that I have had a BLAST eating yummy holiday goodies: PB fudge, cranberry/nut bread, & hershey kisses...and I owe it all to JUDDD And to top it off...I have not been doing it 100%...a few DD's have ended up being MD's, and I have had sugar/starches Those following days I do get a small bump-up, but it falls back off after 1-2 rotations...soooo awesome! I am trying to train my body that carbs are okay sometimes. I maintain well on some carbs, but I clearly do not lose well on having the carbs I am back to strict LC/JUDDD rotations since yesterday, and I truly feel better already. I get so sluggish, and the cravings for MORE when I'm eating carbs. I'm hoping to get down to 168 lbs. and maintaining 168-170 lbs. Right now I tend to be 173-175 lbs. which puts me too close to my TOPS max. leeway of 178 lbs. No wiggle room in an emergency situation, kwim? I am returning to the YMCA this week...starting with 10 min. elliptical for a week or two, then will slowly add more machines/classes later.

I see that many have checked in and it delights my heart to see the regulars starting to get back, and welcome to the newbies. I glance at all the new posts, but don't always reply. Hopefully my time gets more abundant. Seems like my schedule is slowing down now.

Also, my heart is abundant with gratitude to all of you (they know who they are!) who have helped me tremendously along this journey. I could NOT have done this with out everyone's support, information, scoldings, and encouragement. They have put up with me, which is hard enough b'cuz I am such an oddball situation, and my body isn't always like the norm. I tend to need/have to go against the grain in order for results...but I finally got there...and bound & determined to stay there.
THANK YOU SO MUCH

A new year = a new start!!!! You can do it!!!!

Julie, I find that I have to stay pretty LC because I lose control so easily. A handful of fries would have turned into a basket of fries for me, so be proud of yourself for LIMITING yourself. Woo Hoo!

Angela, thanks so much for the beautiful message and just so you know it's always encouraging to read what you say! I'm so proud of you girl! WOO HOO! WTG!

I start Round 5 January 20th so I will be in P2 with some of you...

sending love, hugs and the whoosh fairy!
