Help! (transitioning from meat HCG in P2 to Vegetarian in P4)
I started HCG on Thanksgiving (perfect loading days that Thurs and Fri...) and have lost a total of 22 pounds to date. Day 40 will be 12/31 (though I may do a 60-day round which takes me to Jan 20th). In either case, my church begins a 21-day consecration (fast) that we complete every year that begins 1/8/13 and ends on 1/29/13.
This is the classic "Daniel Fast" (no meats, no processed foods, no sugars, no dairy, ONLY vegetables; fruits; legumes; nuts; seeds; high quality oils like olive, grapeseed, coconut; and water is the only beverage - no tea or coffee. We do this in order to start the year off as a corporate body consecrating before the Lord and I am committed to that as I often fast individually. Okay, so that's the background and here are my questions: 1. If I decide on the 40 versus the 60 day round (and this is round 1 for me), will transitioning to what is essentially a vegan lifestyle for that period jeopardize my ability to establish a set point in P3/P4? Doe anyone have any suggestions, particularly if you have done this before? 2. Is it better to complete the 60 day round and transition to HCG-vegan when the consecration begins so that I can be in compliance with consecration while adhering to protocol? Has anyone transitioned from meat-HCG protocol to HCG-vegan? 3. I plan to transition back to vegetarianism in the near future anyway (was vegetarian for several years and felt much better...). Are the results the same for vegans taking HCG as for meat eaters. I know the protocol was not intended for vegetarians, but I wanted to check. Please help, and thanks!!! Tiff |
