Thanks so much for your response and tips. I've never used a forum before, so I'm definitely not savvy with the tools. |

I haven't weighed yet, but I want to post my really important non-weight success in the past 24 hours.
We have a dinner party every NY. We order the most amazing crab shipped in. That's the easy part. You can have crab on P2, but only 4 oz (per my clinic; 3.5 per Simeons, and up to 6 oz per some other clinics because it's so low cal). The hard part? Wine. The best baked brie you've ever had in your life, and one of my favorite treats. The most amazing deserts imaginable. And about four other ridiculously good things, not to mention the cream-laden mustard sauce that comes with the crab. So what did have? Nothing besides the crab. Nada. I made my own mustard sauce with rice vinegar and stevia. I ate my dinner veggie (since I couldn't have theirs) about an hour before everyone came, just to take the edge off. And then I had my crab, which, GASP, I didn't weigh! But I had had no fruit, no melba and a little bit less protein for lunch just in case, so I figured I'd be okay up to 6 oz (the calories of 6 oz of crab is still shockingly low). I stopped before I was satisfied. First time I've broken Protocol EVER, and not even a big break, but still... I was so proud of myself. New Years was still New Years. I felt comfortable and happy, knowing that I bargained for a P2 NY when I chose my dates for this round (and decided to give myself a P4 Thanksgiving). And I followed through. And it was FINE. More than fine. I did not let some holiday determine my destiny or my food choices. I kept in mind that next NY I will enjoy myself a bit more (like I did for the 9 weeks between my rounds), but not pig out! I so prefer the feeling I went to bed with to the feeling of going to bed after overindulging. Nights like last night are how I know I'm going to succeed in the long term.
