P3~P4 SIMEONS PROTOCOL DECEMBER 2012
Here's a new thread for those of us who are in maintenance mode...
As we go into the holiday season, let's remember to LIVE but live HEALTHY. To LOVE but love things other than FOOD. To be THANKFUL for all that we have--including friends, family, homes--AND lower weights, LCFs, and the opportunity to share our journeys with people who truly understand! Happy holidays everyone! Thanks Shelby. We must be thankful for what we have accomplished which gives us hope to continue! I'm grateful for the support.
I'm currently just hanging out in P4 with really stable weight, having some small indulgences to see what i can do. I really believe bacon for breakfast helps, but people think I'm joking, LOL!! Busy, busy, busy getting ready for vacation next week in Florida. I can't wait to be out of the snow and freezing cold temperatures for a couple of weeks. 6 more sleeps :) I'm getting excited to start my second round too. My goal was to be a normal weight by 40. Well that came and went, so now goal is to be normal weight before 43!!! I've got 7 months, and about 7 bottles of hcg to do it! |

Well I gave in and had 4 oz of blackberries and 21 oz of Greek yogurt. Water and 1 coffee with hwc, hope I am way down tomorrow. :) @Pandora do you use fresh lemon juice or the concentrate kind. |

The egg day has been fantastic.:eggs: Totally satisfying and no hunger. I had my whirlpool bath which I've been doing nightly & it's my daily indulgence. I put a little Epson salt, bath beads, bubble bath & soak. Very relaxing... Have my lunch ready & food prepped for the next 2 days of easing into P3 eating. Though to be honest I will miss the simplicity of the greek yogurt/egg day "but" I realize it's not real life eating so I need to enjoy & relax. I also exercised today which I had been avoiding the last few days since I was worried it was causing my gain. But I know tomorrow night I'll be stressed about the darn scale. Hi everyone! I am starting P3 today and lost 21.5lbs in p2. I am planning on doing p3 through Dec. 23rd and using the 24,25, and 26 th as loading days then going back to p2 for hopefully 1 more round. I plan on doing p3 and p4 after that. My ending weight was 165.9 and my goal is 145.
I was excersising the month prior to p2 but stopped so i could get maximum losses. Can i start back up now or should i wait? I just dont want it to make me overeat. Ive got an egg and sausage casserole premade for the week and a meatloaf with onion egg and spices. Its already portioned out i made them in muffin pans so i am really trying to stick with small portions and up fat. I also brought half of an avacado and an eas low carb protein shake for the midmorning apple replacement:) i did like those fuji apples. |

Morning Ladies ! R3P3D13 & down -.08 after the egg day which brings me
+1.2 ldw or 130.4. Happy with that but I know if it wasn't a work day I would of slept longer & lost more but oh well at least I'm not over my ldw any longer. So easing into P3. Today and tomorrow the only carb will be half a grapefruit, adding only mayo, hwc & olive oil for now. Keeping my protein to ground veal, chicken, tuna, steak. Let's see how I am by Wed. so I can add back in my avocado since I have 2 ripe ones in the fridge. But all this week not having cheese or anything pre made. Hopefully by Sat I can add back a little cheese and Greek yogurt. Really hope I don't keep gaining tomorrow. That would be beyond frustrating. Happy Monday everyone !! |
I am doing my egg day today. I have some boiled up to make into an egg salad--yum!! I weighed in earlier than yesterday too and did not like what I saw LOL. Anyhow, I am having second thoughts about starting another round next week. I really do like eating whatever I want and not being so restrictive. But that IS how I got into trouble in the first place. I might just hold off, depending on how I do this week. I will see as the week progresses how the scale treats me.

Hey dawn last week at Starbucks I got a sugarfree mocha latte breve with heavy whipping cream instead of half and half, its not as good but its pretty close :)

I only ate carbs at that one meal and I only ate less than half my plate of pasta. It wasnt that good so it wasnt too hard to stop. I also went and had a Starbucks breve latte which may have also lead to my predicament this morning. I'm up 3.5. Doing a bacon day. Might throw in some Greek yogurt for lunch at work. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I have nothing to report. I am in my window (and 4 weeks into P4). I must be the most boring HCGer on the planet, but I'm not complaining.
Well, I'm complaining that I have to wait two more weeks to do my goal round. At least, I sure hope it's my goal round. I'm watching enough vlogs to suspect I may lose even slower than my first round, which means I'll need a third round to get to goal. But no more 40 days. Those last three weeks were a bust, and if I hadn't done them, I'd be in my second round by now! Oh, wait! I am hereby at this moment in time lowering my goal weight in my profile from 145-ish to 140. Without HCG, I would never have taken that leap. But I believe it's possible. |
Ive had 7 oz of gy and half of my latte.. I don't know what I should eat today, maybe eggs,bacon and mushrooms for lunch and dinner

Hi Everyone!
Sorry I have been MIA but my BIL came into town unexpectedly on Thanksgiving and things have been a little hectic since then. Dealing wiht a lot of family drama and it has been exhausting... I'm sad to report that I've completely fallen off the wagon. I was doing amazingly in P4, eating carbs again (in moderation) and stable as can be. Then thanksgiving hit, and my BIL came to stay and it's gotten out of hand. I've been eating way too many carbs and drinking tons of wine and beer and it finally caught up with me! I was actually managing to stay very close to the window- I was about 1-2lbs over the window but started to FEEL it in my clothing and could see it in the mirror that I was gaining, woke up the other day and boom it hit like a ton of brinks. I'm now about 3lbs OVER window, so I'm up about 5-6lbs over LIW. I feel GROSS. I always said that my last round was all about inches rather than lbs and I'm fairly certain I've gained back ALL of those inches I lost. I look different. Even if it's just a few lbs, it SHOWS! My clothing is tight, my stomach is bloated and I honestly feel Physically Ill. So disappointed in myself. I'm certain that I'm allergic to carbs and that eating them makes me sick. Not just fat, but makes me feel sick. I have been sluggish and had a stomach ache and head ache for a few days now. Ugh. But... I've done this damage and now I have to fix it. No point in doing a CD but I am going to get back on track and make a change. My BIL leaves tomorrow morning and from then until I leave for CA for Xmas (12/20) I am doing Induction / P3 Type eating and going to hope to take off these stupid 5lbs. I have also been lazy and not walking every day... time to exercise again! Again sorry I've been MIA. I'm going to subscribe to this thread and hopefully it will give me updates so I will be reminded to visit. I definitely believe that not coming here contributed to me gaining back weight. There was No one/ nothing keeping me accountable. Shame on me. Julie, love the nEw pic, hope Disney was awesome! And um.... you got a Puppy? What kind? How exciting!!! Obviously I'm super duper behind on what's going on with everyone, hoping to get caught up, but I miss you all and hope everyone is kicking butt! :hugs: |

@Day one of the potato hack - I am at my "usual" 2-3# up higher after the weekend, prior to each week's DD's, so am starting with cold red and cold yellow, lots of seasalt and malt vinegar. I have to say, YUM. Even cold, and with those two things, do NOT miss sour cream, butter, etc. Yep. And my black coffee, no fat is part of this, and I'm observing it. If I'm doing an N=1 experiment then full-on compliance is in order. (well, let's see how I do! LOL) I'm usually not really that hungry in the morning but I decided to keep my normal eating schedule so I ate. @Reddy! Nice to see ya! Hi all! Well, here we are, pushing into the last stretch of the year. Thank heavens I have convinced my immediate family that we can act like grown ups and give each other ONE gift at around specific cost. The last few years have been getting a bit out of control with everyone just randomly sending giftcards and money. :stars: This is going to make the holiday much less expensive and easier.
As for me, I saw 145 again this weekend so I'm happy about that. I am also pushing into the end of the year--with this being our last week before our big software release. I'm nervous and excited and hoping for minimal trouble at least. Next week will be a lot of hand holding and a trip to Irvine daily. Julie, too bad our visits didn't align! :D It's kind of a drive for me but I'm sure it will be fine for a week. Today's weight was up from what I saw over the weekend but I'm sure it will peel off, as normal, over the next few days. Everyone have a great one! |
Well, scratch the egg day LOL. I just had dinner and it did not have any eggs. But it was low carb, so I am hoping for a good scale day tomorrow!!! Have a great night!!

Just fyi, the potato "hack" is going well. I have had two small batches of boiled or baked but eaten cold potatoes so far. I had one blood sugar dump feeling about two hours after I ate my "breakfast" but it quickly passed. I think from what I read it was the insulin clearing the starch. I just drank some water and the slight shakiness left pretty quickly. I have had all my potatoes cold (cooked but refrigerated) with seasalt and malt vinegar. Actually pretty tasty. I have some sweet potato for waffle fries that I could make if I want to later. Calories pretty low for me, so even though if I was JUDDDing during this "hack" it would count as a DD. Not sure how I would get the calories UP for an UD tomorrow - so will just eat more I guess. Mind isn't foggy, no headache. I wonder what it will do to sleep? I didn't sleep well last night so hope I do tonight!

I did have a sweet potato (been since before January), with butter & s/f maple syrup...I was in heaven:yummy: I tried to throw in some carbs last week...but my body said, NOOOOOOO!!!!!:laugh: I was so swelled up w/ water retention...it was insane...but it all left & then some after switching back to LC JUDDD <30 carbs a day. I hope everyone is well!! Thank you for all the well-wishes & sympathy for losing my dear lil' sweet kitty! I loved him so much, and I truly miss him & think of him often throughout the day. But, he is better off...:cry: I was dealing w/ some carb-induced water retention...but I'm all good now. Still hanging on!!!! Maintaining below LDW...and still trying to tweak my calories on JUDDD...it's a fun WOE...but it takes a while to figure it out. I do well w/ the rotations...<500-600 on DD's...and I strive for 1500 on UD's...but doesn't always happen. If I drink all my fluids on UD's...it is tough to eat it all...so I have cut back fluids to 60ish oz....instead of 100+ oz. Enjoy your week!!!!!! |

Well, no egg day yesterday for me LOL. I started out real well, but dinner I cooked for the family looked just too good. It was low carb though!! This is just one of my DD's favorite casseroles: CHEESY CHICKEN BACON CABBAGE CASSEROLE - Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes I make it with sausage instead of the bacon--much more flavor that way and oh boy!! Talk about yum! Amy had the leftovers for breakfast, she loves it that much. Anyway, looking forward to my upcoming round. Just finished TOM so now that is out of the way.....P2 here I come!!! I am thinking this weekend sounds like a good time to start.

Down 2.2 from my meaty day. Had bacon, chicken, cheese, coffee with cream. Gonna do high protein again... let see if I can loose 2 more.

R3P3D14 & up +.08 to my weight after the greek yogurt day 131.2 :stars: Puts me at +2 ldw. So I ate clean P3 and gained. I didn't count calories just ate until satisified which was about 1550 in calories. I can't figure it out. My sodium was low, my carbs were low, nothing processed, nothing I haven't eaten in P2 : eggs/mayo, ground veal, small serving of tomato, chicken tenderloin, asapargus in olive oil and tuna in mayo. Lots of water, acv, hwc in my coffee, 8 oz of coconut water. Took my supplements. I've exercised the last 2 days about 30 min. My stats were 61 % fat/3% carb/36 % protein yesterday.
So today eating a similar menu & let's see what happens tomorrow. If I see another gain on the scale will cut out the carbs & just do high protein & see what happens. It seems like this whole P3 my body wants to get to 131-132 :confused: |
