WOE: Almost Stillmans (some steamed veg)
Start Date: Every Single Day
Started a 60 Day Round (with Planned Holiday Interruptions)

I too am someone crawling back to HCG type eating after several months of overeating and wine drinking put 30+ pounds back on me.

I don't want to wait until January to get back on track because I know I could easily gain an extra ten pounds in December.

Soooo...I started yesterday what I plan to make a 60 day round with some holiday interruptions.

Here's my schedule:

On "plan" starting yesterday until Christmas Eve (27 days).

Three days off (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day)

4 days back on plan (to basically undo the previous 3 days)

Three days off (New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, January 2nd)

Then, on plan from January 3rd until January 31st.

This gives me a total of 60 days on plan with 6 days of mid-run interruption/re-feed for Christmas and New Year's.

February - Strict P3 - no sugar, no starch, correction days (adding in exercise)

Reward: Enjoyable birthday month and Easter (which falls on Sunday, March 31st)

As for my "plan" I will say that I don't take the HCG drops but I'm posting here because my WOE is based on the HCG diet and I have stabilized my losses well in the past using P3 rules including steak days.

I skip breakfast.

For lunch and dinner:

I eat double the protein of HCG (6 oz per meal). Same lean meat choices as HCG just double.

I eat one bag of steamed microwave veggies (or 3 cups fresh steamed). I eat any low carb veggie that sounds good...mix them if I want as well. No butter or added fat.

I eat one piece of fruit at each meal as well. I eat only the HCG fruits (apple, grapefruit, strawberry or orange).

That's it beside water, coffee, spices, and occasional chicken broth.

I've done this to lose down from 280 to 185.4. This past 8 months, I've regained up to 218 (where I started yesterday....down to 215.6 today).

I'm turning 40 in the middle of March next year and want to be down to 180 or lower by then. My rogue little plan is about 800-900 calories a day and I've never gone over 40 days (40 days gives me a 25 pound loss). I need to lose 35.6 more pounds to reach 180 (100 pound total loss) and I hope I can do it during this extended round. Normally I wouldn't try to do such a long round but with the holiday break days, I think I can do it.

Just throwing it out there in case anyone else wants to join me. I want to enjoy the heck out of the holidays but I don't want to eat my way through December and start the new year still over 200 lbs.

Hi There

Sounds like you have a great plan!!

I am going to be doing something similar to your plan myself but with the drops. This is my very first time trying the HCG diet. I want to be able to enjoy the holidays with my family but not go overboard on eating. This past Thanksgiving (load day) I noticed that I didn't even crave any sweets!! That is a bonus for me. I love some sweets. In fact, I have not craved sweets since I started the VLC part of the plan.

I want to eventually get to 185. I am 5'10 so I think 185 will look fairly slim. My birthday is January 2nd so I REALLY want a break on that day. I am thinking that it is going to take me about a year to get down to 185.

I really really wish you the best of luck but PLEASE be careful with this amount of calories! Anything under 1200 or so will throw your body into starvation mode without the help from additional fat stores that hCG gives you. Your body will physiologically turn to your muscle mass in starvation mode as opposed to your fat tissue, as it's an easier energy source. I honestly wish you all the best--just don't want to see you hurt yourself!

Thanks for your concern Shelby. I don't believe in the drops and have lost an amazing amount doing my thing. I also don't believe in starvation mode.

I've done 4 rounds since 2010 and lost over 80lbs. My metabolism is great and I've really had to push it to gain the weight back that I did.

If you believe the drops help you, I am certainly not here to argue with that. It's one of those agree to disagree situations in my opinion. I believe it is the cleansing and possibly metabolic correcting of the diet that does all the work, not drops.

I started at a very similar weight and it took me nearly two years to get down that low because I didn't do rounds very close together. That said, ever 20 pounds you lose, celebrate it because you'll feel like a new person with each big loss.

Thanks!

So far so good. I'm mentally really focused so that is half the battle.

Down another lb. today. So, 3.5 since Tuesday. I'll take it! I stall once every round for about 7-10 days where I won't lose an ounce. Then the losses catch up fast afterward. Hoping I can get under 207 before that happens because I am woefully out of pants.

Thanks! I'm down another 1.2 this morning. My first three days are always the fastest. I'll settle into a .4 and .6 routine now. Occasionally, I'll get a .8 and sometimes I stall for several days mid-round just like anyone else. It always catches back up towards the end.
