I'm not usually the rogue type, but it seems to be working...
I started right before Thanksgiving and intended to be very clean, like last time (my first round), but being a little lax on Tday... I never got around to preparing my protocol foods so I've been eating turkey with a little mayo every day, and nothing else. I haven't really been hungry at all and the weight is coming off pretty fast. Even faster than my first round. I spiked a little from the cheat of Thanksgiving day, but I"m down 8lbs since then.
![]() Another thing I'm doing differenlty is add supplements to the mix. I just found out I'm severly Vit D deficient so I'm taking that, Krill oil, a high quality multi vitamin, garlic pill, caffiene free green tea extract, and a vit for leg veins. I'm thinking of just adding in some protocol veggies but being a little more lenient with protein choices - more ultra low carb - keeping 500 calories in mind. Any thoughts? |

![]() But onto your question--I found that each round that I did got a little more rogue each time and I pushed the "rules". What I found is that I lost at the same exact rate even with my rogueness and was a lot happier doing so. I was very conscious to stay between 500-600 cals a day though and still did very little fat and no sugar just like protocol. If you want to see what types of rogue things I do, check out the weekly thread I started for us rogue HCGer and read my intro post ~~*ROGUE HCG THREAD*~~week of 11/26/12

I'm big on "if it 'aint broke, don't fix it"! If you're content, feel good and are losing well, definitely keep going w/ the turkey. Many strict protocol folkds stall out and don't lose well after a week or so, so hand in there and plugging away.
I did several rounds, some strict protocol and some rogues, and truthfully my protocol rounds were more successful. This last time a'round, I added hnh to my morning coffee, but aside from that was pretty strict. I think my stabilization has been about same each round. Challenging, but worth the struggle.
