Morning!!!

I would be delighted to join the thread.

I actually loaded for 4 days last week which included Thanksgiving day. I started VLCD day 1 on Friday. I gained 7 pounds loading. I read on another site that if you have been a constant dieter that you needed to load more than 2 days. So that is why I loaded for the 4 days. I was so uncomfortable!!!!

So thus far, from last load date (Thanksgiving) my weight was 279.6
Today, VLCD#4 morning weight: 272.4

I have already lost 2 inches off my stomach and 1.5 off my thighs in those few days. I am using the HCG Platinum X30. What type of HCG are you going to be using?

I would love to join... I need all the support I can get. It is hard being a parent of a toddler and an 8 year old, exspecially during the holidays, all the junk that surrounds my house.

Lets see, I started at 273.2 on the 23rd, and as of today I am down 266 lbs on day 4.

How many days are you planning on being on this round?

You have done awesome so far=D And being umcomfy from all the loading is a negative, but it does pay off. I did a round last year lost around 25 lbs, but I didnt follow p3 right, and here i am back with all the weight i did lost, back on my body. I think the hardest part for me is following

Hi Tinker,

I am thinking that I am going to stop the Friday before Christmas. So that will make I think 28 days. Is the Phase 3 super hard to do?

This is my very first time doing this plan. I am a bit nervous about it. I hope to see some good results. To be honest with you all, if I can get back to 209... my smallest weight having the LapBand... I would be happy. When my LapBand had to be removed due to complications, I was very sick, I gained that back my weight. In the last 3 to 4 months, I have gained this weight back. I cannot fit into any of my small cloths.

My goal weight was to be 185 with the LapBand. If this stuff works for me like I have seen it work for others, MAYBE I CAN get to that 185 goal.

How do I add a signature line to my post? I do not see the "edit signature" settings under my control panel....


Never mind.... Found this.

"We have decided to make a modification to LCF policies. We will now allow Established members to add an image to their signature. Established members are those who have been an LCF member for 60 days AND have at least 60 posts.

To Add an Image:
1. Go to your User Control Panel > Settings and Options > Edit Signature.
2. Scroll down to Signature Picture. (You will only see this option if you are an Established member.)
3. Enter an image url from another web site (you can find weight loss tickers at Weight Loss - Diet Ticker) or upload a custom image from your computer.
4. After you upload the image, click on "Insert Signature Picture" to make sure the signature code [SIGPIC] appears.
5. Preview and Save your signature."

p3 isnt too hard, but you really have to stick to it. I just went back to my normal eating, and that is how i gained back the weight i did loose previously. P3 is more like low carb. I always did great doing low carb, just sometimes, life gets in the way, and end up getting off path unless yu really focus on day to day eating. I have realized it will be something that i will have to live with for the rest of my life. Which totally sucks..

I am sorry your lapband didnt work, and you had complications.

Thanks for the information!!! I have discovered that the only way for me to keep weight off is by low carbing myself. This has to deal with having a fickled thyroid. I have hashimotos thyroidis. I am on Synthroid as of about September. When they took my LabBand out, they discovered that my thryoid was a mess. GRRREEEAAAT right!!

In the process of trying to get my body use to the Synthroid I gained MORE weight. My body just has no clue what was/is going on. I have some fault in it though, I got depressed and sad after my LapBand removal, so I did some emotional eating. Anywho I asked my endo doctor if I could do this plan about two weeks ago and he stated "Okay". So here I am. I am curious if I should get the RX type. I will see what will work out after this first round. I am hoping for the BEST!!!

todAY WAS vlcd #2 for me. Started @ 198.2

Down to 194.0 this morning!!
Released 4.2 pounds!! I'll take it!!
Made some cocoa crack today, lets see if this affects me negatively or not!!

Today is VLCD#5 for me. My weight is 271.2... The weight loss has slooooooooooowed down for sure. I hope it doesn't stop.

Hi Losing with HCG..... Holy 'Devlin'! You lost 4.2 pounds in a day. WOW!!! Is this your first round? What is Cocoa Crack? I am VERY VERY new to this stuff.

It really depends how you calculate your losses! My weight before loading was 195.8, so i really lost 1.8, but if you include load weight, its 4.2 released, either way you look @ it, its a loss though

cocoa crack is unsweetened cocoa powder,with unrefined coconut oil, many different recipes on here, those are the main ingredients, some people add other things, some dont. Stevia is added for sweetness. some lose with it, some gain......i havent weighed in as yet today, i am waiting until 12 noon since thats when i have been weighing in days before...

Hmmm, you have a point there on the how you calculate loss. If I think from my load weight, then I have lost 8.4 in 4 days. If I think from my pre-load weight, then I have lost 1.4 in 4 days. Hmmm...

Cocoa Crack sounds interesting. I think that might be too much temptation for me. I better stay away from the sweets. They be calling me... and I do not know how to say NO after one bite.

Stevia cost a lot of money. Geeze!!! I wonder by me using Splenda yesterday could factor in not having a great loss. I didn't have any Stevia at work so I used Splenda.

I bought a lot of sugar free gum last night. I hope this helps with the desire to want to chew on something you know. I bought Big Red and Sweet Watermelon. I read to stay away from MINTY stuff.

I am on my second 32oz jug of water. I have to get this water in I see also.

Good morning everybody, I am down a lb, So makes it 265 today. I only use cocoa crack on p3, because when i tried it before on p2, it caused me to not loose the weight like i should be.

I need to up my water intake, but i have a hard time drinking water when the water is cold.

Stevia does cost alot of money, my last round i did equal parts of spenda and stevia, and it really cured my sweet taste in teas and my coffees. But I dont have any splenda right now, so i am just using stevia.

As I get further into the round, i feel that it is easier to stick to eating 500 calories, at first it was really hard, But for some reason i feel a little more hungrier today, I hope i dont go over my calorie alloted for the day.. I just had a baked apple, and sippin on some coffee.

Whats everybody eating today?

MMS: 2% Cottage Cheese with 4 strawberries
L: 110grams of lean ground chuck and taco seasoning
Salad greens & 1/2 tomatoe
Superfruit Vinegerrette
MAS: Apple
Dinner: Baked Chicken Breast and Asparagus.

The packets of stevia in the raw is what i use, its about 2 bucks nfor 60 packets,

Yeah leave the cocoa crack alone unless your doing a fat fast day because, I am up .4

Don't worry! The weight loss will go in fits and starts after the first few days. I like to look at weekly losses and think about when I was doing
low carb or WW and losing like 1 pounds per WEEK...

Cocoa crack and coconut oil in general is NOT for a protocol P2. Some people choose to use it but it is not on protocol so your mileage may vary...YMMV

Yep, minty stuff (as well as tea tree oil and camphor, often found in lip products) is a no-no with homeopathic anything. Deactivates it. Prescription and mint are fine.

Yep, water is super DUPER important. Flushes the fat out!!!

Watch the FF creamer (lots of corn syrup solids and stuff like that in there) as well as store-bought taco seasoning (many have sugar). Just fyi... Also you have 3 proteins, cottage cheese, ground chuck, and chicken. Are you following a different plan? Normally only 2 portions of 100g each are allowed...

If I am hungry before lunch, I will eat my apple. I like it baked, it makes the morning much better. So instead of having extra protein, try eating n apple in the morning if your hungry, and that leaves you either some kind of fruit later. I tend to forget about eating somedays it really is crazy how were are eating such low calories but having to remember to eat is something that is awesome!!

Morning Ladies,

Well as to be expected, I gained 0.1 from yesterday. (271.3) I had a lack of will power last night. I ate some fried chicken wing "flats" for dinner with lots of ketcup.

I am not going to be hard on myself about this since I have still lost 8.3 pounds in 5 days. At the same time, I am going to try to let that be the last cheat until about Dec 7th. I am going to New Orleans to help celebrate my cousin's birthday. I am going to try my best not to indulge in the wonderful foods but I also know that even baked chicken will not be the same from home. I am allergic to all seafood so no worries there.

I am cutting out the cottage cheese thing and reducing the amount of beef too!!! Thanks for the advice everyone!!! I will see what will happen at tomorrow's weight. I have a headache this morning.

How is everyone doing today?

My menu today: (R1VLCD6)
B: Coffee & Water
MMS: Small Apple & 1 Melba Toast
L: 101grams of baked chicken & Salad greens with half tomato

I started my period last night, So i dont even wanna weigh this morning. Im gonna try to keep on track...

Good job on taking out the xtra cottage cheese n beef. Its really about keeping it down around 500 or below, and drinking your water.. I Have a headache today too, and i had one last night too. So i took some tyenol to ease how crappy i feel today. I hope you have a good day=D

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well today!

Just wanted to link a thread for you guys that might help as a reference if you have questions.

Lots of good stuff in there (if I do say so myself! )

Another note on pain killers...ibuprophen and tylenol, weirdly for being anti-inflammatories, often cause severe water retention, to the tune of a couple of pounds. Just wanted you to know if TOM shows up along with extra scale weight!

I was POP today but I just got on the scale and I see I didn't lose anything from last night's weight check. I think I am being OCD with the scale.

Paula... aboard!!!! I see you have some experience with the HCG already.

For me: (R1P2VLCD7)
Well, I didn't have a major loss. I lost the 0.1 of a pound that I gained from yesterday. I am starting to SEE my body change though. That is EXCELLENT!!! I lost another inch off my stomach. Woooohoooo!!!! Is it that you lose inches before pounds or pounds before inches? Oh well, INCHES work for me... To look smaller is way better in my opinion.

Hey Gizmo,

I am on VLCD#5 ..... I am down to 192.8 .6 release
Yesterday VLCD#4 I was down to 193.4 1.0 release
Vlcd#3 I was up to 194.4 .4 gain
VLCD#2 I was at 194.0 4.2 release (1.8 actual preload)
Vlcd #1 198.2
so 3 lb release so far good for 4 days, its funny thats so good but i always feel like why isnt it 1-2 lbs a day......
weight before load 195.8

I am hoping to be out of the 190's by Sundays' weigh in


I have 4 month old twins they keep me very busy so i would think the excessive movements would help me, but may hurt me because i take 30 min stroll every other day to get them fresh air / get a light walk in

How has your week been?
